    We're getting so much great Potato Reset content from you right now, lucky us! 👍❤️🥔
    Love seeing how springy it is where you are, especially the dogs running around in the dandelion field 💚🌻

      The dandelions are so pretty and really, they are quite an amazing plant! They start out their life cycle feeding the bees... but are also really good for the soil, and makes for some healing tea for humans.

    I was extra hungry today, too. Now to sleep. I am so glad I stuck to my plan foods, because no matter what, it's better for me, even if it is more that usual. Thanks for showing us how you make your food. So inspiring.

    I don’t know why but that music at the very beginning made me sing 🎶 “I’m a boss a$$ b*tch, b*tch, b*tch..” lol 🤣

    Hi J! I’m trying the reset but I’m struggling. It’s a case of mind over matter and lack of good prep. Junk food vegan here….still haven’t lost the 30 lb lockdown weight. Going back to the basics, prep, journal feelings, walk 10,000 steps.🙂

      Sounds great! Getting back to basics is the way to go!

    Mm smashed Fries. I'll have to try the tomato passata sauce.

    • @PotatoWisdom
      @PotatoWisdom  3 роки тому

      The passata makes for some easy sauces! If you can't find it, you could use plain tomato sauce.

    tfs, i am so glad, i don't have to bath kitties !! Genius using ur vitamix vessel for large amounts water. I have an instapot blender, it has marking on it also. But i use my 8 cup measure cup, easier .Nice doggies like raw carrots. I have not tried making vegan cheese sauce yet. always looks so yummy. I have to eat only 2 lbs spuds a day, plus 2 lbs non starchies, & am maintaining at 138.8 lbs, last time i had a plateau , i realized, i was eating up to 3/4 starches. My prob is, i like to eat , the same amount in volume. not sure what to do, to break this plateau . My newest weakness is grapes, prob have to cut down/or cut out, til after that last pesky lb is gone. lol 👍🙏💖🐶🐶🐶

      Patty, I'm sure if you keep doing what you are doing, it will come off eventually! Sounds like you got the food thing perfected!

    I remember a speaker at OA retreat telling us, "You think you love food; you don't.... you lust food . " The music that goes with your fries helps me re-connect with that wisdom.
    Do you feel that Potato Reset helps break the list/addiction feeling around food? 👵🏼🐞

    • @PotatoWisdom
      @PotatoWisdom  3 роки тому

      Breaking the food addiction is the number one reason I do The Potato Reset. It helps me a lot. Though everyone is a little different on what method works best for them.

    Explain how you pressure cooked the potatoes. I have a insta pot.

    • @PotatoWisdom
      @PotatoWisdom  2 роки тому +1

      Okay this is an extremely delayed reply, I'm really sorry. You probably figured it out by now but I put mine in the pressure cooker with 1 cup of water, close lid and put release valve to the "seal" position, press the pressure cook button and set the timer to 10 minutes. Let it do its thing. Once it's done counting down to zero, put the release valve to the release position (be careful to avoid the steam shooting out, it's super hot).

    Saturday was a big fail for me. I made potato and onion enchiladas for the fam and suddenly my plain a** mashed potatoes were unbearable lol.

      If you learned something from it, it's not a fail! Now you know to be mentally prepared - next time you make something so delicious for your family, make yourself an extra tasty potato meal. Perhaps the Nacho Cheeze Fries! YUMM!

      @@PotatoWisdom GREAT IDEA! .....and scoff your fabulous nacho cheeze fries BEFORE u make their meal, so that you are cooking on a full stomach! Makes a huge difference to me. When im FULL UP with healthy compliant food, i'm not even tempted by the non-compliant.
