Ever since updating to 10.3 (including the update to that), I cannot send a flight plan to the IFD 540. I can receive one from the panel and can get my ADSB but I cannot send a flight plan. Thoughts?

Once the iPad is connected to the IFD, go to the Map page on Foreflight, press the settings icon and scroll down to "Avidyne IFD." Then click on Avidyne IFD for more options and then DESELECT the" automatically download user waypoints" options, This should fix the problem.

I assume I am going to have to call customer support because I just got an IFD440 and have a subscription for Nav and Obstacles for Jeppesen. But when I try to update my databases on my newly installed IFD100 app, it only has one item and a note "1 new item allowed" and another line "unassigned; No coverage specified". So, I can't update. So clearly, there is a BIG step missing from these instructions in the video. That step is how to acquire the download subscription for your IFD100 app? Without that step, none of this other stuff helps at all.

Sounds like it's an issue with your Jepp subscription. Give Jeppesen a call at 866.498.0213. They may need to reactivate your subscription to ensure all data types are included.
