lmao. the aftermarket for a z31........ the z31 isnt the only one with the engine and if you are not american you have high chances of finding many fitting aftermarket parts for another car with the same engine and other parts.
He probably used VG30DETT tuning parts in and on the VG30DET engine. Stateside, JE makes forged pistons for VG series, and I googled that in 4 seconds flat, and if you couldnt find that in one freaking year... If you just sit there and go "maaah cant do it, maaaaaaah cant do it" then you'll be doing well to maintain and keep the engine in good shape just as it is (which is what you've been doing I suppose).
Tbh they should’ve just continued at Akio, Tatsuya, Reina and the Photographer guy instead of throwing in random characters that have somehow became main characters.
That defeats the point of the show though because the whole thing about Wangan Midnight is about people encountering the Devil Z and pretty much get a life lesson out of it. That's why we get new characters introduced.

Wangan Midnight, despite having only 26 episodes, is also great on its own. They can't be compared to each other and both of them are quite addicting to watch.

Could've reshelled the running gear, but having built her up since i first got my license, i have been fixing it up as it was. Still got a month or two to go until i am done, but it'll all be worth it.

That's because it's supposed to not be like Initial D. They're two completely different series. Initial D is more about drift racing and character development Wangan Midnight is more about the relationships between the racer and the car and how the car has a bad omen
Firstly, to car people, they treat their cars as if it were a sentient being due to their love for their own respective cars Secondly, the Devil Z is rumored to have a bad omen, as if it's cursed. But Akio loves it a lot and said that the Devil Z is accepting him as its owner(stated in previous episodes)
