- We got extremely bad travelers illness India, so we made our way back to Bangkok for a quick stop. We were recovering, but still had a great time at the Thailand Cat Show and seeing the monitor lizards (& more cats) at Lumphini Park!

You came in the right time man. On April 13-15 Thailand will hold a water festival and this time is the first year that celebrates since Covid pandemic 4 years ago. The most famous spot for celebrating is Silom road (Under Saladang BTS station)
Last week the Shake Shack burger has been opened the first branch in Thailand at Central world shopping mall (G floor beside the courtyard) you should try
Unfortunately we have a lag on our videos so we were there about a month ago now and have since moved on, but so many people have recommended it to us! We’d love to come do it another year!
Next time we visit we’ll have to check out that shake shack!! We’ve never tried it!!

@@IfWeGoTo oh wow, Hualien!!! Good choice. I am not into bangkok cuz I prefer working on my tan than sitting in traffic (No offense to you two, believe me, I have been in traffic). I also liked Jiao Xi and the Royal hotel. It's a famous japanese hot springs hotel. Unfortunately its about $400 a night. Also, Tainan has their natl. history museum, and Anping and chikan temples. Maybe try the kavalan whiskey tour in...I think it was yilan.

Thailand has announced the cancellation of the mandatory wearing of masks for several months.
Wearing a mask is voluntary. Most Thais still wear masks due to air pollution problems and familiarity.
Ahhh thank you!! Luckily pollution wasn’t too bad during our visit, but it started picking up at the end of our stay. I could see why people would continue to mask!
During the time in India i never get any food poisoning, but one of our team was really sick!
He also got to Thailand for treatment, and never came back 😅😅😅

How are you feeling since returning from India? You seem much better :) I went to India a few years ago and got super sick from the air in New Delhi. I was coughing nonstop, all medicine I took did nothing and I could literally feel something like dust in my lungs. I decided to leave and when I did it took about 1.5 weeks for me to feel much better but I could feel everyday since I left I was getting better.
Himalayan region though is really nice and air is super clean.
We are doing much better now! I think we had Giardia, but it was very easily treated with some medicine.
The pollution some days was super super hard. Luckily it wasn’t as bad as it can be during our trip, I imagine it must have been bad during yours. but we totally get where you’re coming from. It was super super bad in Vietnam when we visited there. It takes a while for the lungs to heal after leaving places with bad air pollution.
Next time we’ll have to visit the Himalayas!!
@@IfWeGoTo that's great to hear! I also wouldn't visit Chiang mai January-March. The people in the mountains burn garbage and the year or two before covid when I was there during the time the pollution was just awful. Any other time it's great though,like in april and october :)
Lumphini park looks beautiful but for solo travelers it might be kind of dangerous. I would not go there alone.

@@IfWeGoTo Taiwan is the Republic of China, and mainland China is the People's Republic of China. Although both are China, just like South and North Korea, Taiwan is a democratic country, and mainland China is a dictatorship. They are not the same country

@@IfWeGoTo Although Shenzhen is next to Hong Kong, I have never been to Shenzhen. I heard that Shenzhen, like Hong Kong, is full of high-rise buildings, and there are many large shopping malls. You can travel to Shenzhen
OMG, you are so thin 😱 It is hot season in Thailand, always eat fresh cooked meal. Hot noodle is great as it is well cooked. Drink only bottled water. I wen to work in India several times. Almost 100% of my European colleagues got diarrhea in first 2 weeks and went to hospital. Myself had it few times but just only 1-2 days off sleeping at the hotel after that no problem. Anyway, I did not dare to have street foods, always from proper restaurants.
Yeah it was getting scary!! 😱 I’ve always been thin so it was pretty hard on the body to lose that much!
Yeah all of our friends got sick, just not used to the local bugs!! Luckily we got some medicine in Thailand and had a fast recovery!
