This is very knowlegeble video, i like to ask after sun set , if two of the family member take hot water from the tank and use it, cold water will replace it in the tank, we still get the hot water.

After sunset, the system is stopped working.
The hot water is stored in the insulated thank
The temperature of water inside the tank depends on the solar radiation of that day
In thermosyphon system, which works on natural gravity, the hot water is replaced by the cold water during usage.
Here number of persons dosent matter, it depends on the quantity of usage, transmission loss,
If the capacity is 100 ltrs and 2 members use 50 ltrs in evening then cold water will replace hot water.
In morning the temperature of the system will be less as compared to evening temperature.
You will get hot water but at slightly less temperature.
There are other factors also.
It's a vast subject with lots of dynamics..

No - Basic ETC are not ment for preseurised applications

Can we use soap water to tubes?
Or merely wipe clean the tubes.
Does solar tank has a horizontal partition as to differentiate hot & cold water. Supposing hot temp at the top is around 60c as explained then what would be temperature at bottom of the tank.

What are the CPVC sizes of inlet & outlet pipes given by the OEM brand ? Should we still use the reducing method to connect 1inch to 0.75 inch pipes for pressure on hot, just like how we do it for cold water to bathroom ?

I had recently got two solar geysers ( 200 ltrs & 300 ltrs) dismantled and cleaned when roof surface of our house was under repairs. When solar heaters have been re-assembled, the tubes are not generating hot water. The external heater however is functional and producing hot water. The local dealer has not been able to help sort out this problem. we are being subjected to lot of inconvenience due to this malfunction. request advice what possibly has gone wrong

My question is that. In many places the people are not ready to adopt this economical source of solar water system. Can we reduce it in mini solar water system of fifty liters. Where there are only two persons? The tubes can be fitted where the sun rays are available in the corridor etc.?

I couldn't understand that it uses solar to heat water so why do we need 3kw electric heater to put in it.?
