Great tip on the planing part
I've done TONS of hardwood installs, but only a small handful of vinyl installs. Today I was supposed to do a small bathroom with the exact same product as this, but I chickened out because I was concerned about leaving that "floating floor gap" against the tub. Didn't know if it was safe to make it tighter. But... Thanks for giving me more confidence! It's very small room and there WILL be a T-mould at the door, so now I can see what to do. Thanks!
Wow...you are an incredible instructor! I love your technique! I do wish you would have shown the caulk along the tub and finished product, but alas, I did learn a lot from this video and appreciate the time you took in creating it.

I've done laminate floors, tiled floor in bathrooms as well as shower walls. Being my first time using 'waterproof' vinyl up to our newly installed stand/sit shower enclosure I felt I should check out what I'm up against.
