How To Make Shanghai Fried Noodles | Quick 15 minute dinner

  • Feeds 4-5 people depending on how big of an eater you are!!
    Shanghai Noodles
    Pork (or any choice of your meat)
    Scallions
    Baby Boy Choy (or any veggie you want)
    Marinade:
    1/2 Tablespoon Soy Sauce
    1/2 Teaspoon of White Pepper
    1/2 Tablespoon of Oyster Sauce
    1 1/2 Tablespoon of Cornstarch
    1/2 Tablespoon of Rice Wine (any cooking wine is ok)
    Noodle Marinade:
    1 table spoon of dark soy sauce
    1 tablespoon of soy sauce
    1 tablespoon of oyster sauce
    1 tablespoon of sweet soy sauce

    Any fresh Shanghai noodles I've bought say to simply rinse for 30 seconds in hot water, then you can add to pan with other ingredients. No need to boil fresh shanghai noodles - helpful hit!

      They’re called Shanghai noodles. You can find them at an Asian market

    Salt the water before you start boiling. The reason we add salt to water is to reduce the boiling point so it comes to a boil faster.

      No, adding salt actually raises the boiling point slightly.
