Timeless band, The Cure & Robert Smith you're welcome in France as always !❤❤❤
Come closer and see See into the trees Find the girl While you can Come closer and see See into the dark Just follow your eyes Just follow your eyes I hear her voice Calling my name The sound is deep In the dark I hear her voice And start to run Into the trees Into the trees Into the trees Suddenly I stop But I know it's too late I'm lost in a forest All alone The girl was never there It's always the same I'm running towards nothing Again and again and again and again...
@@fundrive it's one of the best, but there are other great versions too, Manchester 1982 , Paris 1982, NY 1980 , Werchter 1981 , Neu Isenberg 1982 , Paris 1979 , Amsterdam 1980 can i go on?
The begening of the eternel was in the right right time, angels hard guitarists from the 70s......they deserve to become now the greatest band of all times
This reminds me of grunge for some reason. Pre grunge, not as heavy as what it developed in to but the ethereal guitar wouldn't go a miss late 80s Seattle sound.

The Cure reste le plus grand groupe de rock au monde.
Come closer and see
See into the trees
Find the girl
While you can
Come closer and see
See into the dark
Just follow your eyes
Just follow your eyes
I hear her voice
Calling my name
The sound is deep
In the dark
I hear her voice
And start to run
Into the trees
Into the trees
Into the trees
Suddenly I stop
But I know it's too late
I'm lost in a forest
All alone
The girl was never there
It's always the same
I'm running towards nothing
Again and again and again and again...
Thanks a lot for the lyrics ! I do love this Masterpiece of The CURE !

Love all the early Cure videos! Thank you for posting! 82’ is around the time I discovered these guys.love it when they come to Chicago!
Excelente aporte!! El sonido Cure oscuro y minimalista de esa época es y será siempre mi favorito.
The CURE : the "happy sad" band. Love them
Me too
My Cure was 1979. - 1983.
I could stretch to 85’ but yeah

I love this song in 2019!!!
I still say Robert Smith is my fairy godmother... and Simon Gallup my Fairy godfather. God their music/sound could inspire dreams beyond ambrosia.
Why's Robert godmother tho?

I used to house sit for Lol Tolhurst, after the split. Such a good tune!!
*La mejor alineación por mucho*
Rob Smith wearing a pink tee shirt ? Wow 🖤💋
And creepers
Je pense qu à l époque là couleur rose fesait partie de la période post punk 😊😊😊😊
The infamous pink shirt that Siouxsie apparently hated and wanted to throw away lol
Robert Smith's right hand playing was amazing back then.
Left was pretty good too, play for today for an instance
Wow.
So good 😊
Bravo!

Soon after Robert and Simon would fight and Simon was out.
True. Although he would soon be back a year later, for good this time (to date), and the two are still best mates.

Great early sound
This song alone obliterates so many bands whole careers
wow
Simon Gallup 🥶🥶🔥
When everyone else says ‘more cowbell’ The Cure says ‘more Chorus, more Flanger!’
For me this version is better than original.
