Endeavour shuttle lifted into final upright display

The space shuttle Endeavour completed its final flight on Tuesday, as California Science Center crews hoisted the retired orbiter into place at Exposition Park. KCAL News reporter Rick Montanez has the latest.

To mate it to the External Tank and Solid Rocket Boosters as it would have looked on the launch pad in Florida.

@@netheraziz3886 Yes, since the NASA manned Space Shuttle missions are no more, this gives a visual of what it looked like for young people who've never seen a launch of a manned NASA space shuttle lift off. Also the only boosters and fuel tank left in existence.

@@netheraziz3886 Yes. They are putting the stack together first then they are building the rest of the building that will house the display around it.
That's why Endeavor is covered in the plastic shrink costing to protect the vehicle from the elements while the rest of the building is completed.
