- Follow space shuttle Endeavour on its 12-mile journey through the streets of Los Angeles and Inglewood before arriving at its temporary home at the California Science Center, the Samuel Oschin Pavilion. I cry every time I see this my heart is full South Central was given a gift of love. I appreciate this so much.
It has been truly amazing for me to be able to appreciate this and now my daughter has been lucky enough to visit it.
Truly an incredible thing to see in person. The shuttles are a monument to the end of our species first attempt at conquering space. No doubt we'll try again, with Space X, maybe even shuttles like this again one day when we have better technology. But truly our first try at that frontier has come and gone.
I remember watching the plane carrying the shuttle showing it off and flying by Los Angeles making a lot of pass by and turns on every school, and watching the space shuttle in person passing by Crenshaw mall back in 2012
I was 21 when I visited the museum. I remembered crying when I first saw this amazing piece of work. God bless America

1. A rocket at launch
2. A space ship while in orbit
3. A glider on re-entry until it landed.
When you think about, it's a helluva piece of amazing technology.
