I get on a mafia kick for like a week every few months or so. And I watch a bunch of documentaries on the mob and stuff for a few days or something. Then I won’t watch anything on it for a few months. I actually go from different gene to different genre. For a week at a time, I have like a rotation. LOL. Anyone else?
Wer else cn i find stories like dis besides utube?ntflix dsnt seem to hv much docus.
@Ed u Kate 😂
Defo. Ah go back m forth b'tween countries, watchin organized crime shit.
Watch the wire or the sopranos💪🏾
Me
the BEST mafia documentary ever, seen this so many times but I enjoy every single minute of it.
Yeah no fluff, no over exaggerated story tellers or romanticism of the mafia.and true to the facts. Just straight forward. The world of organized crime is not good or pretty. It’s interesting but a life that leads to nothing but chaos, violence, stress , anger, anxiety, depression and death and prison
The guest speakers sharing personal information/experiences pertaining to the criminal syndicate life. Made this presentation very educational.😉
It’s British!! Unlike the humorous Gangland series..British crime documentaries just let the people tell the stories and don’t insult the viewers intelligence. I remember when this was first televised in the UK it was around mid 1994.
Crime Inc was another great British series on the mafia which premiered around 1984. Even their documentaries about LA gang violence (Real Lives series -1984) is superior to most US documentaries on the same subject!
What a stresful friggin life you wake up everyday thinking it might be your last.
I love watching these MAFIA VIDEOS, I admit, I'm addicted....

@@merkcityboy834 I love your optimism and positivity but as far as the facts say there's no difference between the dc crews and the Bath avenue crws other than the romantic genre that's uppermost in the zeitgeist right now, a gang of people who join together with the aim of selfish gain is the very same whatever the clothes, clan or claims *
what people don't know is
Paul Castellano was a close associate of Salisbury native Frank Perdue
When the feds bugged the white house they sent an agent to fix his cable and Billotti answered the door. It was daytime and the tv was in the kitchen where Paul talked business.
lmao the narrator voice on these series is the best of the best

Crime inc is the best, 6 part mafia documentary
@@manchesterguy7961 CRIME INC IS DEFINITELY THE BEST ONE
Definitely 2nd best!! All mafia docs made in the 80s-90s are amazing!!
Carlo Gambino died in his home, amongst family and friends....never went to prison one day.... I'd say he was extremely smart.
Same thing with Tony Accardo. Only he had a run from the 20’s with Al Capone until 1992, when he died. Including being boss in the 40’s and was always the real power even though there were times when he put someone else up front till his death.
Yes he was 💯
Greg Scarpa Sr didn't either, see the connection.
Considering it was before electronical surveillance really took fold I would say he was lucky He was on trial and probably would have went the prison when he died
And he was an illegal and never got deported, yeah he was a smart old fox that's for sure
I love these shows, thanks for uploading.
This is very cool.
I've seen most of it but it's very well put together , thanks !!!

You should Google 'NDRANGHETA the most powerful italian mafia and richest .They control Europe, Australia and Toronto Canada and soon in New York..ppl are starting to realize how powerful they are
Its high on danger and intrigue . The thing to remember is not to begin liking any of these guys . Some of them had charisma but they were all bad men
Me: hey ma can we get a mafia film?
Ma: we have mafia films at home
They became so powerful because Hoover turned a blind eye and only took cases he was sure he could successfully win.
Hoover turned a blind eye n didn't even admit the mafia existed for at least two decades. He focused his attention on the "real threats" to America...the Black Panthers..smh
Wasn't easy to catch the mafia especially when they had everyone in thief back pocket including law enforcement $$$$
This is, in my opinion, the best documentary on La Cosa Nostra next to the British 7-part series "Crime Inc." produced by Thames Media in 1984.
The british series i think was the best doc ever made about the mob
Nacht Schreck. It may be one of the best. But being published 1984 it it 35 years out of date. So predates the death of Spilotro '86 as well as the murder of Paul Castellano the Mafia boss 76-December 16th 1985. It also wouldn't show any thing about the two later Dons after Gotti. Don 'Vincent Chin Gigante' and Don Rat Joey Massino, currently squealing in the witness protection program.

11:00 Detroit Boss Giuseppe "Joseph" Zerilli was on his way to that meeting. While on the road, Zerilli and his driver saw cop cars and heard on the radio that there were arrests at that meeting. His driver Vito Giacalone immediately got out of the area and Zerilli was never arrested or indicted because he was never at that house. All the Feds had was proof that Zerilli was at a hotel in New York. Zerilli died in 1977 and the Feds never got him.

Jewish Mob along with Bugsy Siegel. So not MAFIA. But Mob associates or Jewish Mob.
@Roger Baker Cosa Nostra Sicilian was not (is not Jewish). Meyer Lansky, Bugsy Siegel and some others were. Whilst members of the Mob they were not necessarily members of the Sicilian Mafia or Cosa Nostra. It was Luppy Luciano who employed any one and was not strictly Cosa Nostra or the Sicilian MAFIA. John Gotta was one if the dumbest mafia member of all time. He became very complacent. He didn't know how to be low key. When you flash your wardrobe wearing a three thousand dollar suit, you would attract attention.
It's Gotti and you're calling someone dumb
His wardrobe had nothing to do with it. He was blabbing away on tape. It wouldn't have mattered if he was wearing a $3,000 suit or sitting around in a tattered pair of underwear, his wardrobe had nothing to do with him going on and on about every crime he ever committed on tape.
Like Johnny boy said he didn't ask to stick those cameras in his face.
Media a mother!!
You dumb ass. You act like the fbi didn’t know who john Gotti was before he wore expensive suits. How much do you think Paul castellanos suits cost ? 🤣🤣. The day after Paul castellano was killed… the media was already calling john Gotti the new boss. He didn’t ask for the media to follow him around. They was all in his face just like the other bosses before him. Carlo gambino was followed by media to his doorstep. Was he dumb too?
He was a plastic mobster killed his family and himself dumb as they come
This is why I love the Genovese (Luciano) family when Gotti and Castellano were in charge everyone on the outside though the Gambinos were it. Yet Genoveses were just as strong but more low key.
Actually they were stronger.

What a radical change once Paul Castellano became the boss of the Esteemed Gambino family.
The crew of John Gotti detested big Paul.
They hated visiting him while he wore his Pansy velvet robe and fluffy bedroom slippers.
Instead of the standard 10% kick up, Big Paul demanded 15% while drinking his glass of milk.
Abundantly evident Paul lacked the intelligence and people skills his older cousin Carlo had.
Because of Big Paul’s pompous arrogance he became out of touch with the knuckle draggers side of the family which ultimately cost him his life.

@@felixp55 seems like a horrible way to live your life. No thanks.
@@felixp55Years ago, pre-internet, I heard the account of a non-Italian gangster who described his life while he was living the life. Big house, small fleet of expensive cars, designer clothes and “string” of beautiful women…and *always* within reach of a gun. Dude had a gun stashed in the back of his fridge and under the face bowls in the bathrooms. Getting busted and sent to prison was actually a relief, he said, because it opened the door to “retirement.” He did his time, walked out of prison and just kept going, left the money, women and unrelenting fear for his life behind.
Just for the record, when Carlo coming up I told him, stay humble stay low and don’t buy expensive goods with the money that will come in. He listened and he loved a good life. Mr Neil too. But John, god I could never get through to him, he broke my heart.
