This story only says beer sales are down. It doesn’t say people are drinking less. It’s pretty obvious that those sales went to the new seltzer drinks and mixed drink options that are everywhere now. I think beer sales will continue to decline as more and more people start reaching for the low calorie and more fruity seltzer options. Especially women.

As a big beer consumer (craft beer, not BMC) for decades, this past year I've noticed my beer consumption has dropped dramatically. On that note, my consumption of whiskey, bourbon, and cocktails in general has increased dramatically.
