In an attempt to add pieces of furniture for storage and/or pleasure, it is easy to crowd spaces. As you have done with your desk, try cornering some of the small tables. The flow will improve as It also leads the eyes around instead of landing flat on a surface. You’re doing this instinctively with some of your accessories. You’re creating a charming home, with character and personality.

*Desk* . I had my fingers crossed that you were going to paint the desk white, then you added signature "Monica" appliques and voila.... *Gorgeous* ! I also like the shift in orientation for the desk. Lovely choice for the hardware on your furniture pieces.

I love lavender wreaths and bunnies for spring. I picked up some lavender from my local health food store and have been baking lavender cookies and making lavender mojitos. I’m ready for spring!

I did kinda like the dresser drawer hand painted gold original detail. The cherry finish was okay too. I get that you want everything to match though and understand why you painted everything. Your room seems like a happy place to work in.

Hi Monica! Loved your desk and dresser makeover! Turned out beautiful. I'm glad you are breaking up all of the white with some baskets, etc. I think adding baskets in their natural color and wood pieces is very "cottage" and helps ground all the white. The lavender is a great accent color for Spring and looks stunning with the rest of the decor. Can't wait for the weather to catch up with Spring! Looking forward to warmer days!!

The furniture pieces you painted are absolutely gorgeous and I love your office. I ordered a few appliques from the Etsy shop you linked as I want to turn a fairly plain mirror into the French style that is so popular now. A fraction of the cost to DIY.
I love the lavender decorating idea, it looks lovely. Have you ever consider having your office by the fireplace and your family room in the front room? I love it when you move furniture around 😅 I do it as well and I find it inspiring. Happy spring! ❤️
Everything is so pretty. Love your desk. In the entry, I suggest hanging the mirror. Put the rabbits on the same side of the mirror with one on a stack of books to add height. On the other side, add the basket of lavender. This will break up the lines since you have the pair of hanging lanterns on each side Just a suggestion from a different angle :)
Two of my daughters have the velvet panels and they are so pretty. One has the emerald green in her living room and the other one has the mauve ones in her bedroom. I love the color you purchased. I may have to get me some!

One idea I thought is to add an small table in the middle of that area, to make it an small entrance lobby to your office. I thing it can be use as a reading nook. Everything is so beautiful. I am seeing more people paint without putting some type of protection on the floor. I've decided something is wrong with me. I can't paint without getting paint on whatever surface I'm painting on. I admire those people that can just paint..
