The reason this song is so important to me is that it came out right at the time in my life when I was in an on-again-off-again relationship for 7 years. There was no cheating involved, but it made me realize I was never going to get where I was going if I didn't leave where I was. I ended that relationship for good and two weeks later, I met my now husband of 17 years! He's an incredible man and everything I've ever wanted and needed. We have a connection I didn't know even existed! Not to mention he's a firefighter... the hottest uniform of all, am I right people? LOL! I would never have met him or been open to something better if it wasn't for this song! I will never forget how it made me feel the first time I heard it. It literally changed my life! I paid for the funeral, supported her emotionally and financially and she repaided me by stealing my husband because my husband was also a contractor and she could keep her business and didn't even have to change her last name, it was already the same as mine😢
