    Whats the best ddr5 48gb kit you guys can recommend? I have a 13900kf and 4090 with ROG STRIX Z790-F GAMING. Currently rocking 4 kingston fury rgb at 5200mhz cl40 that came freee with my purchase. I do some gaming but i also do more video/photography editing, i just learned as well that having igpu on cpu also benefits but am already too late to return my cpu. 32gb aint gonna cut it, i need 48gb and up, 2 or 4 sticks whatever is better for stability and whatever works best with XMP, i need stability and best performance out of the box. upgraded from 3900x and 3080! Thanks in advance! Frame Chasers is the best!!!!!!!!!!!

    Built 13900ks 4090 and gskill 7200 A-die with z790 hero and samsung 990 2T. OCed it myself. Cinebench R23 Single core 2389 and multicore 40850. 3Dmark says top 18% on the CPU and top 25% on 4090. SP 108 on CPU. I feel like it could be better. But i cant run above 5.7 just gets too hot. need to learn how to undervolt better. still learning OCing. Bought z790 classified but decided to go with the hero. 4090 is the Extreme Amp Aero. Got the same AIO the Kraken elite. Im halk tempted to get the 420 corsair aio. But i think im just going to delid and go big. This thing runs hot. Worth going to 14900k or stick with KS? Your camera looks great BTW.

    • @InnocentiusLacrimosa
      @InnocentiusLacrimosa 6 місяців тому

      13900KS is the same as 14900K so no point "upgrading" there. Zero benefit from it. Anyhow, you'd be overclocking to run it at higher speeds, not undervolting. There really should not be much difference between 5.7 and 5.8 that you might be able to run it at so perhaps focus on getting the RAM to run even faster and on getting all the other timings good on it also. That should yield you more benefits if you feel like you need some.

The apex tho IMO is the best MB for over clocking and has been for both cpu and memory. its PCB it's is just as a good as it gets. Theres a reason it 90% of Intel CPU and ram of world records are on thia board vs the other like maybe 3 boards that's in its class and currently and if I'm not mistaken memory and CPU current record for highest CPU freq and memory MT/s were both on an apex

    and 1 map online 3 times, for realistic fps (cuz biggest fps drop in tarkov are players with all their gear in the raid) ps i know it because whenever wipe happens game runs smooth, 2-4 weeks later you getting worse fps because of the all armor, weapons and attachments people running, bigger bags with more loot

And these refreshed run a bit cooler and use less v core that the original 13th and clocks higher. they implemented or rather finished fixed I forgot the name of the damn feature but it wasnt ready or working like they intended it to but it has to do with the v core regulation

      @tiduschenable 6 місяців тому

      I’m doing the same. I put top and bottom as intake, the side as exhaust. Although heats usually will transfer to top, but if you do it at casual way (Bottom and side as intake, rear and top as exhaust), the heat from GPU will always transfer to CPU and RAM. My personal choice will be let top and bottom as intake so the cpu and ram will run cooler (more stable)

    • @Cereal_Killr
      @Cereal_Killr 6 місяців тому +1

      @@tiduschenable I just, go with the flow🤣. Rad up top pulling out. Sure the rad is getting warmer air over it from inside, but long as air passing over it is cooling than temp of incoming fluid temps, your cooling. Fluid temps never exceed 28-30c and CPU never goes over 68-70c in game. CPU 35ish idle. 240mm AIO on a 5800X3D. As you say tho as fans are moving air around inside I guess either orientation won't really have a substantial effect. I'd rather see the face of the fan on inside too rather than the back cross brace. Just looks better to me I guess.

    • @kramnull8962
      @kramnull8962 6 місяців тому +1

      Top fans bringing in cool air blows on VRM, RAM, GPU. Fans entering air from the Front are passing through the Rad, heating that air, increasing temps coming inside the case. Even with good airflow, you have an airflow heated to 60C at least going through the radiator at 100% load. Remember when you air cool you have your air cooler and rear fan in combo to cool your VRM, and RAM. So this way is compensating for not having the CPU air cooler.
      Back in the day though you had dumb cases that were made with 3 fans in the front with 1 fan up top and 1 in the rear. No choice but to intake the front or simply starve the radiator for air from 2 120mm case fans feeding the fresh air.
      Or like the 4000D case, that brags a top mounting 360 AIO but no way a 360 is gong up top in that case, neither is 3 120mm fans either, unless you drill some mounting holes on both ends of the case... I couldn't get a normal 360 rad to lay flat in the top, and even 3 120mm fans would be overlapped with solid metal at both ends of the Top mounting area. That case would be loud as hell with 3 120mm fans up top, it would whistle....
      With many cases, until you get the PC to your home and start to work on it. The specs are lies. That's where people have to get creative and intake where they can intake and exhaust where ever it gets out the best.

    Wasn't the T-Create the best ones? I bought them following you recommendations..

      They are the same, T create just doesn’t have RGB and runs cooler and can OC more. These RGB ones run hotter but doesn’t matter if using aftermarket sinks

    So I bump into these videos and livestreams and as it happens it was rebuild time (3 generations) for a non gamer multi monitor setup so being an amd stalwart I decide to go intel EOL z790 elite ax x and get more threads with a 14600 k. I had waited 3 years to get my hands on an RX7700XT. so pleased until in multi monitor mode glitches??? does nobody check these GPU multimode multi monitor? Long story short all the main channels do not so I unsubbed all of them (amateurs) now have a RTX 16gb pro art 4060ti which works. the teamgroup mp44 work very well cool too. I may not chase frames but the honesty is worth a lot.

    So in a serious manner: Does someone know which RAM heatsinks were used?

    Thank you for including Tarkov but the test you ran on woods is not a realistic indication of how the game runs in general, you're being on a quiet part of the map and looking away from everything.
    The map Streets would be the best test imo since that's the hardest one to run on most PC's and of course Online raids are harder to run than an offline.

      Yah the tarkov test was either disengenuous or he is just ignorant to how the game performs. If you run offline no bots youll get crazy high FPS on any map. But the second bots/AI as well as real players load in, FPS absolutely tanks with intel. Drops to below 130 for me on the 13900k 5.7ghz 7600 CL36. The 3D AMD chips are still much better for Tarkov.
