How to use Lucas Oil Heavy Duty oil stabilizer?
For engines in proportion: 20% Lucas Oil and 80% plain oil
For manual crates in proportion: 25% to 50% (depending on degree of use).
Variable sizes: 50% - 100%.
Lucas Oil Heavy Duty Oil Stabilizer protects the engine from scratches.
Sam pure Liqui Moly 4100 top tec 5W40 had the result:
- 0.18 (sample 2.92) • Liqui Moly 4100 top te...
Liqui Moly 4100 Top Tec 5W40 with Lucas Oil Heavy Duty Oil Stabilizer has a score of - 0.10.
It gives us the following result:
sample 2.92. 0.18 - 0.10 = 0.08!
Summarizing:
Does Lucas Oil Heavy Duty Oil Stabilizer Really Work?
As you can see the oil's abrasion resistance increased by 0.08 - the metal-to-metal friction decreased.
The product was tested by manufacturer LucasOil, thank you

Well I lost all faith in this guy after I saw how he unsuccessfully attempted to remove the child-proof
seal for the product.
Sorry for that, sometimes the protection is really hard to break. However, it proves that all my tests are done the first time and are not repeated.
That was the most exiting part of the video lol !
I’ve just bought some of the Lucas oil stabiliser but after looking at some of the reviews I’m not going to put it in my engine.
Might use it for general lube ?
Btw I opened the bottle easily without using a knife like in the video lol 😂
Jim Young as did i
I'm one that has to disagree it's put on there a pretty darn good and that's a good thing I have trouble at times🚘👍🙋♂️☮
Me to even i felt anoid, hahahah
I use it all my cars, it sealed all my oil leaks and make the engine run like a rolls, my sons camry have 270000 miles wife sienna 230000 my suburban 225000 miles best product i have every used
Erling Lea does it help with lifter ticks?
Gavin Sumpter yes it does
Gavin Sumpter my tahoe used to have a lifter tick on start up added lucas and went away
Gavin Sumpter - Yes it stops the lifter noise. My car consumes oil between oil changes & when I hear the lifters I add Lucas.
Do you add on every oil change or after 1 year
I have been using Lucas Products for at least 20 years now. Not one time have I ever had a failure with Lucas. I used it in my Freightliner and Trailer. It is used in my personal cars. The extra expense is worth it in the long run. Basically I never leave home with spare Lucas products in my car.
Lucas heavy duty oil stabilizer review does work, ive used it for 15+ years in every oil change or between when needed if your car uses in between changes. All of Lucas products are great.
I've never used oil additives and I've not yet suffered oil related issues. One of the worst things anyone can do is to deviate from manufacturer oil specification. There is far more to it than just SAE viscosity.
@@paulanderson79 Dude. with out an help you will never have 1 mnillion kms in engine... you will need retification before that.
People say many things, but they can never reach 1 million with lucas, you know why?
product is a scam.
@@Limou551 Renault Master minibus 1 milion 300 km done people carier minibus, engine low pressure change oil using lucas and engine as new before engine flush tecc 2000.
it lubricate parts in the engine when it is parked and you can drive 50% longer
14 mins so you can tell me if it works!!! cmon bruh ain't nobody got time for that!
I would have preferred to see a comparison in the wear using Lucas versus conventional oil. That would have been more helpful
Please, read description below video.
Most everyone here is missing the point. Lucas is for eliminating dry starts......that's a majority of engine wear......yes it does stop all dry starts.
Everyone here is missing the point that increasing oil viscosity is bad news for starting the engine. It needs to flow, not stick where it is.
Thank you James!
I like the Lucas stabilizer I have a Toyota Camry 2.4 liter 250000 miles running smooth and strong I just like it I believe in it thank you🚘🙋♂️🖖🇺🇸
Hello. I have a 2009 BMW X5, 140k miles with loud noice in the engine. I put the lucas and the noice is gone, I am very surprised that it worked that well. However I have been seeing videos and some suggest that, it's not good to use it in cold wether, others that it will damage some components etc. Do you have any more info regarding LUCAS. Thank you. JC
Works good in a 2 cycle Detroit. Also in my 12k hour tractor.
Używam go we wszystkich autach.Z tym że do tych bardziej sportowych leje ten dodatek Lucasa poprawiający poślizg (jest rzadszy).Ogólnie produkty są super i warto je nawet zmieszać ze smarem podczas smarowania maszyny.
I've never seen someone have sooo much trouble with a safety seal before hahaha
One word, dry start!
Xado AMC vs lucas, which one do you prefer?
Lucas oil just released a low viscosity oil stabilizer additive!!!
lucas oil is not for friction, its for when the engine is cold creates a lubricant chain with the oil and lubricates faster in cold starts! thats it !
I'm on the same boat as everybody else, so was it a comparison? to what?
Man that paper cap was kicking your ass.
Hi Piotr Tester, Lucas oil Heavy Duty oil stabilizer is not Metal Treatment. Its for mixing oil to prevent from foaming. If you want to test with your machine tester, please find Metal Treatment oil :)
Nice one mate
Did i miss something?
Solid video-
Good process.
after looking at the comments...
Maybe go back and do a voice over?
Too bad you didn't speak cause I fell asleep.
What song at 13:00?
Lawd Fadda.....I thought you was going to slice your hand with that box cutter. The plastic tab on the seal is meant for taking off the seal!! 100% petroleum product? Looks like Taffy to me! So what exactly is this product besides an additive that will create a higher oil viscosity? In very cold climates, a higher viscosity oil may well be an engine killer. Please explain in detail. Thanks
and.....if it is 100% petroleum....why not just buy petroleum? should be cheaper.
Downside of this product is that is modifying the viscosity.... 5w40 oil will become like 10w40 after you add lucas
is 5 w ticker then 10 w? im confuced about the numbers I know the second number higher is ticker oil
Erling Lea first part is weight at start...5w is thinner at startup than 10w.
Easy enough to compensate but just using a grade down of the usual grade you use. Also, Lucas makes lower viscosity versions of this same stuff. So it's not a problem either way.
Yes- Lucas works.

Link is example of what a good oil stabilizer can do for an engine.
Took a 5.4 triton with the dreaded VCT causing low oil pressure and dramatic clanking- to into spec and still driving 10,000 miles later.
The owners were going to give us the truck because they were sure it was ready for a rebuild.....not after Lucas!
please tell me the music name on beginning
that's a aluminum cotter pin not used in a car engine that's why it wore out. not the Lucas oil issue
Can you please test bestline lubricants? Both for cleanliness and wear?
Were buy your torch??
Do you have a test lucas 5w40?
But what are you comparing it to when you don't have a control. Comparing it to the oil without Lucas is the real test.
Piotr, sprawdzisz motor life? Ja kupiłem i używam z liqui moly

Sorry, but No name. I'm the author of all songs on my channel.
Oh..... I know that track.😎
How could I forget it? Right freaky ladies over at Sunnyvale senior center of Sacramento, CA?!! Hola!!
oh yeah!
That sexy number is definitely called "Lubrication frustration/ Hot lube test tube and no one

@@PiotrTester twilight zone
The add woke me up
I disagree, the music is so decadent it feels like one smoked a whole pound of weed.
This kind of test should use Engine Treatment oil, not Stabilizer oil. Engine Treatment for metal protection. Oil Stabilizer just to thicken oil viscosity and use for old wear engine.
This is the most useless video out there but this lucas stabiliser is fucking solid.
Can you please test marvel mystery oil used at the correct ratio with motor oil... Thanks for the great videos
how about the high mileage version of this, any good or better?
Hoolio Rayyes I just started using it with pretty decent results. Quieted the motor a bit (wasn’t terribly loud to begin with though) definitely quieter.
Hoolio Rayyes I think the high mileage oil stabilizer can withstand the temperature more, but only by 10-20 degrees fahrenheit. Honestly, you will not notice a difference between the two.
What the fuck did I just watched, I want back the 10 mins of my life that i just wasted
Thank you for constructive comment
Did you compare non Lucas test and how much worse was it??
If you asking about clean test, Lucas oil is the cleanest oil additive. On channel I have also clean test Archoil, Xado... Please wait for other oil additives. If you asking about friction test Lucas oil currently isn't on first place...
Summary of all my test you can compare on this link: docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1fbb9qtL-yWlzDPLzvxzpF01gRRtH8fKxeVtXt6HPpgg/edit?usp=sharing
That's not a fair test, why do you have to put 2lbs of weight on it. I think it's too much. A real test would be getting two new cars, one using The stabilizer, and one without. Run them both for a month and then check the bearings inside the engine.
Ok, go ahead and do it.
It wll work like a sand paper, if your oil is dirty, cause it grabs everywhere, tried it and had problems in turbo and gearboxe, never more....
100% Petroleum? then why not just buy petroleum? might be cheaper.
Fell asleep 2 min in
Do amazon oil test!!!
dont ever add this product to any engine with vvt, you will be sorry
I have VVTi engine and I use only very liquid engine oils and oil additives.
only use what is recommended by car maker, ok for older tech engines but not for newer tech engines
Can you explain why not?? I add it to my car since 50k now have 165k no vvti and it runs fine
My car has 381,000 miles running on manufacturer approved oil. No additives and no problems.
+Google User - Far more to oil than just the SAE viscosity. Further - regardless of where you live once your engine is fully warmed the running temperatures are the same.
Please test nmf lonic friction reducer treatment one ounce per quater combencional oil
#monsterjam #lucasoil
Never apply Lucas in diesel engine fall or winter you will have hard time starting your truck.
why is that dont it lubricate the parts better?
there is no reverence test without lucas
Please, check description below video.
Another sales gimmick this is no different from any other and it didn't work on my engine!
Much more to engine oil than its SAE viscosity rating. High mileage oil is a bad idea.
Very good, I might use it but won't it increase the total viscosity of the oil in my engine ?
People should really do some research on their own particular motor before throwing 20% of this on top of normal engine oil. It may cause problems. I wouldn't put it in any new car because it would probably void the warranty.
It's actually as it says on the bottle, one of the only ones that won't void the warranty, and you can literally add an entire bottle and it still won't.
They have a lower viscosity version for new cars.

Schade das man nicht öfters Dislike kann
I can't think of any engine component that is equivalent to this test.
Man why you not speaking during your demonstration.
What for? Everything is showing on video:-)
Far more to oil than viscosity rating. Furthermore, this apparatus is intended to test grease, not oil.
Test ...BG MOA ...
Jajajajajaa casi no pudo abrirlo
Come on buddy you supposed to put oil with the Lucas additive just likr that liquid Molly has oil
No, it's not gonna work.
How about we put this stupid test to bed forever and start telling the public that SHAMPOO will give the best results in that stupid machine.

Wtf???
STP blue is better it has zinc for antiwear
We will see... Please, wait for test STP (blue bottle).
