Your projects are always the best on UA-cam, and always inspiring! Looking forward to more videos in 2025. I hope the year ahead brings you everything you wish for.
You inspired me! Last weekend I was shopping with my daughter and I bought a plain linen tea towel. I will try to use it for sashiko over the holidays. Can't wait to start! 🎉❤
Don't you dare thinking your work is "not so fancy", when you made that gorgeous fish jacket! 😢❤ I really enjoy the beautifully executed simplicity of your crafts. I'm a big fan of repurposing materials and working with what you already have. It's more eco and budget-friendly, and the restraints help spark creativity! Happy holidays! ❤
Thank you so much💕💕 I love the jacket. I was so happy when I completed the project! I’m so glad that you liked it too. Thank you for watching my videos this year😊💕💕
You are such an inspiration to all of us on how to repurpose things and make them into beautiful as well as useful objects. My granddaughter is much like you, she goes to all the thrift stores to find her clothes and other items she needs. I have such respect for you. May your holidays be joyful and your new year be the best ever.
Your projects are so much more than a lot on you tube. They are intentional, creative, unique, and made with love and thoughtfulness. I have subscribed & beginning in 2025 I will use your videos as inspiration to make my own projects. Thank you.
I enjoy your sashiko videos greatly. Thank you for showing your projects. I learned about sashiko from your videos and I really love sewing the beautiful patterns. I made two little blankets for my daughter’s dolls and a needle book for me ,that I really love. My next project is going to be a bag to put my sashiko projects in while I’m working on them and so I can take them with me when I’m not at home. I have always loved sewing and I find sashiko fun and relaxing. Thank you for introducing me to this new process. I think I will love it for the rest of my life. I hope you have a wonderful new year.
Oh wow! Thank you for sharing that💕💕 It really means a lot to me🥹 I really wish I could see what the viewers here have made. Thank you again for watching my videos this year😊
I picked up some sashiko supplies a few years ago because i wanted to mend and keep wearing my favorite denim jacket. I put that project aside but you have inspired me to pick it back up again. I found your channel a few days ago after picking up some sashiko stencils. Your welcoming beginner friendly videos are a joy to watch and have inspired me so much. I'm having fun practicing the stitches and love using my thread collection in a new way. I also love that you use thrifted items. I subscribed and look forward to watching more videos. Thank you so much for sharing! Love & appreciation from Texas.
Thank you so much for your continuous and generous support this year🥹 You have been so kind to me. I’m truly grateful💕💕 Thank you again and I wish you happy holidays.
Thank you for sharing you talents and inspiration here on UA-cam! Because of your beautiful projects, have started Sashiko stitching this year. My first project was your 3D pyramid pouch, using old denim jeans and men’s shirting. My hand stitched pouch lives in my car’s console and holds change for the parking meters 😀
Thank you for the inspiration to learn a new craft this year. I love being able to make simple things now while still learning to make even more useful and beautiful things. I'm looking forward to next year's projects. I wish all the best to you this holiday season!
Thank you so much😊 I also love something simple and relaxing craft projects (though I’ve also done some exhausting ones this year…) I wish you happy holidays as well💕💕
Thank you for showing me your stitching projects. They are all lovely and so inspiring. I love the way you display your threads on the wall as it keeps them in your eyes view. Beautiful sharing. I am looking forward to your 2025 sharing. I wish you a wonderfully calm and safe Christmas. Sending hugs from across the oceans. Love
Your work is beautiful, and your cleaning cloths are too lovely to use! Thank you for bringing such a calm friendly environment to UA-cam. I have subscribed, and look forward to many moments shared with you. From Australia. 💞🌈
Thank you so much for subscribing😊 I’m so grateful that this channel is supported by many amazing viewers who are kind and thoughtful. I’ve been learning a lot from the viewers as well💕💕
I’ve been making zokins like crazy for Christmas. I have been using one that I made for a dishcloth. What has truly amazed me is that they don’t get any odour in them, even after 2 weeks use. Eco makes such a difference!!
@ I used a cotton blouse, also a cotton scarf and a lightweight denim top I had. Cut the sleeves and used the front facing with buttons removed. Even stitched the collars!😂. I basically used everything, just stitched anything inside on the edges that I didn’t want.
OMGoodness I would have to go back o hat thrift store and check the other thread packets to see if there were more with the wool thread! Such a treasure. I wish our thrift stores had more sewing related items but the women in our area aren’t much interested in hand work like I am. I simply adore thrifting and repurposed items! I’d rather thrift shop than mall shop anyday. I love your channel and want to say your stitching is some of the best I’ve ever seen. Merry Christmas and look forward to seeing your videos in the new year. Blessings to you and your household. 💙👩🌾🪡🧵🎄
I’m contemplating it…😆 What would you use the wool thread for, if you had them? I’m thinking about some embroidery and darning, but I’d love to hear some suggestions! Thank you so much for watching my videos this year. Merry Christmas🎄💕💕
@ definitely embroidery for me. The vintage crewel work, sweater collars, flowers on my coats, and shopping babes is what pops in my head immediately but wall hangings are an idea also. I’ve never used silk thread so unsure about those. My latest fav to make is the zoning!
Thank you so much for sharing your ideas😊 I’ve just got them and still need to look at them closely to come up with a good project. So, your suggestions are really helpful for me👍
@ oh one last comment. I also love aprons! A repurposed denim garden and a linen kitchen apron will always be one of my favorites. Thank you for being you and sharing all your lovely videos.
Thank you for sharing your thrifts and all your creativity made so beautifully. I also thrift, this coming year I need to be more creative and thrift less if I can. I agree not good to over cumulate. Merry Christmas and blessings.
@@denisepettit8534 the gathering is part,of the fun but I agree that we can go overboard if not careful. Thrifting is just such grand fun especially if you find even one vintage treasure. I too need to do more making.
Thrifting is so fun! I normally stay away from thrift shops until I have some room to store new things😆 Thank you for watching and Merry Christmas to you too🎄💕💕
My favourite was the rainbow sashiko bag, I was making rice bags at the time when I came across your video and subscribed 😊 you have relaxing and interesting videos, and your work is beautiful, you do not need to compare yourself to others on here, many different styles, but it's lovely to be able to search out something calming before bed time, Thank you.🤗🌈🎄 merry Christmas and best wishes for the New year 🍄
One day, I walked into my favorite thrift shop only wanting an off-white sewing thread to finish a project. An hour later, I walked out of there spending over $40 US dollars. The only way to avoid overspending is to stay away. Yeah right. Mele Kalikimaka! 🎄🤶
Want to know what worked for me? A no-buy-year. I wouldn't have been aloud to buy more than that thread, otherwise I would have destroyed my goal. Did the job for me.
Those thrifted threads look amazing, especially the wool and silk yarn! It seems like Aus has a lot of fabric art supplies in thrift stores - I don’t seen them so much here in the UK. I still love that sun and moon bag. It’s gorgeous! So many beautiful ways to reutilise fabric scraps and samples. I’ve lived watching them progress over the year!
@creepycutiecrafty Op shops here are really amazing! It depends on the area but I have more than 10 op shops nearby😆 My daughters also call it the sun and moon bag! I’d love to do a similar one again. Thank you so much for always watching my videos and leaving thoughtful comments. You’re one of the biggest supporters on this channel. I truly enjoyed exchanging ideas with you this year💕💕😊
@ I’m glad I haven’t annoyed you! 🤣 but you’re welcome - I love watching, your work is so inspirational. I hope you have an amazing Christmas and New Year.
Such wonderful threads you've found ! That's always a pleasure to follow your videos. I have discovered sashiko with yours and I come back again and again to try to practice some patterns 😊 Many thanks to share so didactic tutorials ❤ Happy christmas time ! 🤶
I’m just patiently waiting when you release a book. I don’t know why but every video you released makes me think that yeah one day it’s going to happen. 😊
Oh I had never thought about it…! It’s so nice to know that there is someone who’s enjoying what I make💕💕 Thank you so much for watching my videos and supporting this channel😊
Now I'm fascinated byu the idea of Crewel Sashiko. Since Crewel work is defined by the matrials and not the actual style. Although, granted, I'm not sure wool thread would like being used in Sashiko very much.
At the moment, I’m thinking about using them for embroidery or a darning style work. I just got them so I don’t have a clear idea yet though. I’d love to hear if you have any suggestions😊💕💕
Love watching..could you please tell me what is the name of that beautiful piano melody...it reminds me of something but cant place where its familiar from.

Thank you😊 I was wondering if I could make a small keychain in a similar style, so it doesn’t necessarily need to be for Christmas.
