I love the way they did the references in the movie where there was a lot of them but it was never done in an annoying way.

This movie is a masterpiece. Everything about it is amazing. The story, characters, writing, animation, themes, and humor is all amazing. Speaking of the animation, I love how artistic and painting-like it can be at times. Every single frame looks like it should belong in an art museum. I give it a 9-10 out of 10 rating. It’s the best spider man film I’ve ever seen and definitely the best film of 2023 so far. I can’t wait for the third film.

My mind was blown when watching this, and my expectations were already high after the first one. Funnily enough, though, my favorite parts are the quieter moments, especially between Miles and his parents. Miles's dad - I mean, Officer Morales - is my favorite character, he's such a big precious old goober.
Such a great movie truly enjoyed watching it
The cliffhanger made me scream like nooooo i need more its seriously brilliant squeal i love every minute i like Miles is fantastic main character and spot is great villain.
I also like Miguel too its interesting argument they both have i cant wait for third movie.

Saw it like 40 minutes ago, yea this movie is Masterpiece, the last 10 minutes were Crazy, you need to see this movie again, and fully this time, the only problem is not having that much Spider-ham anymore :(
I really liked Across the Spiderverse. Nailed it on almost everything. I kinda wished we got more scenes & dialogue with returning characters from the first movie, as it really only focused solely on Miles and Gwen. I would’ve loved more of them, especially interacting with new characters like Miguel O’Hara and Spider-Punk.

I watched the movie in theaters not knowing it was a cliffhanger and god damn I wanna see the next movie! I kinda wish I did know tho because the pacing is a bit weird. Not faulting the movie for that tho, it makes sense understanding the movie literally doesn't end

Spiderman Across the Spiderverse is honestly one of my favorite movies of all time. I went in not knowing it was a cliffhanger and it wrecked me. The last little bit of the movie was amazing and I’m dissapointednyou weren't able to finish it. It's a cinematic masterpiece and I will never get tired of rewatching it. 10/10

I personally loved it, and I was having a great time watching it, crying with the emotional bits and laughing at the comedic parts. But I hated the cliff hanger. Come on, they cut it in the best part...! 😤 (Arthur and the Revenge of Maldazar and Catching Fire did the same to me and I hated it. Though, the difference between those films and Across The Spiderverse is that in Across the Spiderverse, I can say, "Ok, this sucks, but the rest is awesome!"). So yeah, 9/10. ❤
Me before watching the film: the more hype some marvel project gets, the more skeptical I am. Put your absurd amount of money where your mouth is. I’ll enjoy this film for sure, but I’m still triggered at Instagram for never shutting up about it.
AND ANOTHER THING. I don’t hear anybody going nuts for that bombshell of a first episode of Star Wars Visions S2 that used the Spiderverse animation style expertly. Only a Sith deals in mainstream absolutes
I'm not sure what you're getting at here, but I agree that Visions S2 E1 is very good, I'll have to do a video ranking all the visions episodes eventually.
As someone who watched the whole movie, knowing it ends on a cliffhanger honestly makes me upset. I don't think this is as good as the first movie. But the Spectacular Spider-Man scene was the best part.
I like this movie but not everything about this movie I like. I think there are too many Spider-Dopplegangers. I don’t like what they did with Jessica Drew. I am not upset because they made the character black when she is actually white in the comics and the Spider-woman cartoon. It is because in the comics and in the cartoon she has web wings that allow her to fly and she has stinger abilities but the movie doesn’t show them. I don’t like the motorcycle she ride’s because spider characters don’t need motorcycles. I am anxious to see the sequel because of this movie.

Did you ever finish watching it?
Shockingly no. But that is because I have been too busy and it is "irrelevant" to what I am currently working on or watching/playing, and thus would be distracting to my brain. I need to be in some sort of "marvel mood" or working on some sort of marvel project to convince myself to watch it. I own it on 4K so I do plan to watch it eventually.
