My km2+ arrived today. So far so good. Only issue is my tv screen flickers while browsing Netflix. Need to turn off Always on HDR to fix the issue. All other streaming apps are ok.
Nice review...Finally ,something that plays 4k apps...but......I would have liked to see you add "Developer Options" and that 100 lan gives me thoughts that WiFi has a limit too....Your office goes to only 60 megs.......A lot of people can get GIG Internet .......you need to add better Wifi tests.....2.4 & 5g and its limits.....a city guy you are not :)

The Prime Video version (5.7.8+v14.0.0.230-amrv7a) that came installed on the KM2 Plus, doesn't update at all, on the Google Play Store or via APK, doesn't it update to the latest version?! This is a system glitch. I need an update to fix this issue!

I recently purchased mecool km2 plus. After it has been off for a long time and when it is turned on, it only displays an image in the upper left corner of the screen. It's strange that when I restart the device or turn it off and on again, the image returns to full screen. Anyone having a problem?
KM6 deluxe has better specs than the KM2 plus. But lacks Netflix certification. If you don't care about Netflix then the KM6 deluxe is better. Beelink GT King is actually very powerful compared to KM6 and KM2. but it lacks official ATV and Netflix certifications. Again same, if you don't care about certifications or ATV then the King is the best.
brother, one question, I'm in doubt, since the mecool km2 plus has the Amlogic S905X4-B soc and the AV1 codecs and apart from it has Netflix 4K certification, it would no longer be worth buying a Mecool Km6 Deluxe because the Mecool Km2 Plus already has almost everything and at a good price, THANK YOU.
I am planning to buy Km2 Plus but I am seeking advice from someone who tried to play games on GeForce Now with Km2 Plus. Can this setup provide a satisfactory gaming experience, or would it be an impractical investment? Due to my recent move and financial constraints, I am unable to purchase a PC or gaming console, and must rely on my 1080p TV. I came up with this idea but I'm not sure if it'll ever work. Why the h*** can't one of these finally come out with 4 gigs ram? I've been waiting forever for a cheap(ish) box with Netflix to replace my Xiaomi mi box

@@robton007 I don't know why but Official Android Boxes never have higher Storage and Ram Else other Boxes give 4 or 6 GB ram or 32 or 64gb storage and some Provide 128 too
Can you actually get to the usual Android interface and install whatever apps you want to from the Play Store? UPDATE: So I bought it, and, no you can't. There are very limited apps and you can't even install Firefox on it. But it will do Kodi just fine and it's even an option to install when you load it up for the first time. I don't know why Firefox hasn't bothered to make a browser for this very restrictive OS yet. It also means you can't install "no root firewall" or a force stop app or anything else which would be useful to you, but I think you can do it by side loading it.

I like to keep HDR on auto. Also make sure your TV supports 4K HDR
@@ChigzTech my tv is 4k. I can't find the Auto HDR on the KM2+. Only the option to switch on or off Always on HDR.
I have problem on HDR. Even HDR always on, my LG tv cannot detect HDR also Netflix showing only 4kultra and not 4khdr.
Wish it had WiFi 6 and gigabit Ethernet port but it definitely a buy

Try a different HDMI cable, that might work.

Main differences: The KM2 Plus has faster processor, more storage space and better BT v5.0.

yes its 5.1 / DTS (well my AV receiver decodes it fine!)

Yes exactly, performed very well with only 2GB RAM. The most recent MECOOL boxes especially this year models, are proper official certified devices.

Honestly, 100mb LAN is very usable and I have never experienced lags or buffering with Netflix, Apple TV+, UA-cam, etc.
