How to Extract Area of Interest from Landsat Image using ERDAS Imagine 2015

In this video, we will learn how to extract a specific area of interest from a Landsat image using ERDAS Imagine 2015. We will first download a shapefile from a website and check its metadata, which will only show a geographic coordinate system, not a projected one. We will then create a custom transformation of "WGS 1984 to Everest 1830" and "Everest 1830 to WGS 1984", which is necessary for subsetting. Using this transformed shapefile, we will subset our Landsat image to extract the desired region of interest
