Discovery Princess Full Ship Tour

Here is a full tour of the Discovery Princess on a sailing from the Port of Los Angeles (San Pedro), CA with a sailing down to the Mexican Riviera. The cruise departed on December 30, 2023, and arrived back at the Port of Los Angeles on January 6, 2024. This is also one of the newest ships in the Princess fleet.

The pool area you showed by the doors labeled "The Sanctuary" is NOT part of the Sanctuary. It is an adult only pool, that is open to everybody at no extra cost. There is also a bar there. You later mentioned the Retreat Pool which is the same pool referenced above and, again, is NOT part of the Sanctuary. The Sanctuary is an extra cost area with loungers and such but that pool is NOT part of the Sanctuary and is available as an adult only pool for ALL passengers with no extra cost.
This is a fairly common misconception. The "upside" of this misconception is that a lot of folks think they would have to pay extra to use the pool which cuts down on the number of people there.
