I'm in England with no chance of ever getting to the US. I would never have known about all the places you go to and through - I had no idea how beautiful Washington is. Thanks for taking me there, Eric!
You are so right that is absolutely beautiful. I don't know how you find so many truly beautiful places, but this one is one of the absolute best just like you said. Thank you safe travels, have a wonderful weekend.
It's because he colorizes the video like adding more blue to make the blue fresh water look like the blue of the ocean, it's not real and I wish he wouldn't do it.
Did you get to see the herd of thousands of rabbits running loose at the resort directly across the highway from the church? I'm so glad you are making this loop. This is probably my most favorite road trips in all of WA state. The road up to Mt Baker and hiking on the mountain is great too, but not for this particular trip. Maybe another. I wonder if they still give tours of Ross dam? You'll pass by it in your next video. They boat you across the lake up to the base of the dam and you get to go on a tour inside. Maybe for security reasons they no longer do that. Times have changed. I know you're going to just love this trip. You already are. Happy trails!
@@nomadicfanatic Too bad. You would have enjoyed that. I know you can't read all the comments and keep up with things when on the road withlimited internet. I wrote about them and the church a while back. That's ok.
Breathtakingly gorgeous! Just the kind of place I'd love to camp for a few days, just not sure how my powerchair would handle the uphill bits. All hail, Jaximus Maximus!
Yeah the North Cascade range up that way has been bumped to my #1 place in the country for a while now. So glad to see your coverage of it as I won't be able to make it up there this year.
A suggestion for another one of your trips. Adventure cycling sells maps for bicyclists that take you through the back roads and off the freeways. We used them as much as we could on our trip from Maine to Anacortes Washington. I would love to backtrack that route in a car.
Absolutely beautiful! Thank you for sharing. Definitely making this part of my journey. Was glad to see you using the e-bike, your original video on the bike sold me.
My daughter and I drove the Loop one summer it was stunning! This state is beautiful!! Thanks for the backdoor tour. You can't stop and see those nooks and crannies when you're driving.
I lived in the PNW “Everett” 20 years beautiful state no question, but in the west side of the Cascades the reason things are so green is because of all the rain, eastern side totally different.
it breaks my heart to see the budget cuts for all the national parks, some are closing and being sold for mineral rights,ty eric for showing the parks and showing the hidden gems.
I love how enthusiastic you are about the beautiful scenery. I think even though this is your 3rd favourite national park, I think you love your home region the best.
I bicycled through that tunnel at the end of a two month bicycle ride with a friend, going from Portland Maine to Anacortes. We carried our camping gear on our bicycles but ended up staying in motels quite a bit towards the end. We were feeling pretty weatherworn. The Cascade Mountains were harder than the Rockies. So think of us when you drive down the other side going towards Winthrop---think of two older women cycling up that pass. I was 58 years old.
I wrote this on instagram but you should check out the trail to Blue Lake! Near Washington Pass. Less than 5 miles roundtrip. Beautiful alpine lake, old cabin, mountain goats, grouse and amazing scenery
When I lived in Lake Chelan WA. in the early 60s as a kid there was no road where you are. I promised I would go up there when the road was finished. 2017 I did it with my grandson in my teardrop trailer and had a blast.
I loved this video Eric,,that is the reason why I visited your country as often as I could..All that beautiful scenery....I would happily build a tiny house on the banks of that river and spend the rest of my days..
How is it each video is filled with more beauty than the last? Man Eric, what a great start to my Friday. Put a smile on my face and a giddy-up in my git-along before I even had coffee! No mean feat. Makes facing the 100+ weather of Phoenix and lack of much green at the moment, a game changer for my mood. Big thanks for taking us on the ride. Best wishes for continued phenomenal destinations. Its what you do best. Meow, meow, meow Jax. (He'll know what I'm talking about) 😏 Safe travels you two.
ERIC! Well done! What an absolutely gorgeous video! Its been fun watching you play in Seattles big backyard! Just kidding! I mean the Cascade Loop! Love it N.F.!
Seems like your enjoying the lectric bike. That is something I will definitely add to my must have when we start doing longer trips.Enjoyed the video! Enjoy the road and safe travels.
This was such a beautiful, happy video. I had a little Mona Lisa grin on my face the whole time. I love how happy and content you are. I can't help but think every time I see one of these videos you have put out since you became single again that some people are just better when they are free. You wear it well, my friend.
Stunning! I lived in Washington State for 20 years, fought Wildland Fires around Winthrop, Mazama, Wenatchee...even drove that stretch of highway, but didn't remember there ever being a North Cascades National Park. Thank you so much for sharing, Eric.
Thanks Eric you are the best tourist guide ever , i doubt there is a better way to see this. i am stuck hear in the UK. O Moss grows on the north side hear in the UK.
Great to see you using that E-bike the way it was ment to be used. Don't you just love them. We never go out on a trip without ours. Never had the pleasure of riding one through a tunnel before! That was fab! Stay safe. Enjoy! May the gods, Keep air in the tires and charge in your batteries.
That was totally gorgeous, thank you for bringing me along.i think the higher elevation was what was giving you trouble breathing.. be careful and be safe.. Happy 4th of July to you and Jax..
My experience of North Cascades NP was that they had short trails and LONG, killer trails with little in between. In this instance, you may not have missed too awfully much unless you became a serious hiker overnight. However, my idea of a "killer" hike may be someone else's "moderate" I like your videos because they are like postcards or movie trailers. They don't show us all the wonderful places, just enough to make us want to see more. You shall spend a day but you have given us enough to dream of going for longer to some of the places you have seen. Recovering from knee replacement now and stuck in an RV park using your videos, and the videos of others, to add to our bucket list. Hubby and I have added the Lincoln Highway to our list, thanks to some of your earlier episodes.
Did I not tell you Diablo Lake is amazing? That water is just so beautiful. I was told its the minerals that make it that color. Either way, my favorite lake.
I'm with you on the moving thing. I have been out all summer. I am having a heard time staying in one place for more then 4 to 5 days. Now I did make 12 days at 1 free camping place. But did go into town 3 or 4 times. Stay safe.
#38 Good morning, Eric. You brightened up my day with such a beautiful tour. That tunnel was neat with the bicycle warning sign. Thanks for bringing me along.
Well the video started with a very scary place for me,... wedding chapel... After i got over my OMG moment, This was for sure one of your best video's ever and yeah the bike is perfect for this. Awesome scenery, Thanks for bringing us along.
We need an update on your ebike. How many miles can it go on a charge and what type of riding to get what you get out of it. I know everyone's usage will be different, but an update would be nice. Thanks in advance and thanks for the great videos and taking us along with you and Jax. Safe travels...
That tunnel along the river was probably where the river was re-routed during the construction of the dam. Once the dam is completed, the tunnel is closed off.
That Cedar tree w/Ivy was Awesome!! There's nothing like listening to cascade waters!!.. of course Beautiful too! Nothing like pushing a button hahah Cascade Park is Absolutely Beautiful!! Thanks for sharing as always xoxoxo Jax :)
Here in SW Florida (aka hell) the blackberries are gone already. They were ripe in April. Also you saying out loud "Thank you for this beautiful place". Is something I do during the winter here. I cannot put into words how lucky I feel when I get to experience an amazing day. I will often spread my arms and thank our great mother Earth on the days I can work on my flower garden. Thank you Eric for showing me all the beauty in our country.
Thank-you for showing the sights of the Cascades Loop. Like you showed, driving a vehicle doesn't allow anyone to find and enjoy the secluded visual treasures of Washington State (or anywhere else). ;-) Someone definitely thought ahead providing a measure of safety going through that tunnel.
you seem so happy, I know I would be if I was there and I hope to be there in about 8 months my daughter (from another mother) lives on Whidbey Island, she loves it. I told her to look for you. Can't wait for next video, it is so beautiful!!
Hi Eric--Love the video--soo peaceful & relaxing. Wish I was their. The colors were soooo beautiful. I love your videos so much because they are sometimes crazy but then U guys go to places like this. Thank U..Take care..God Bless...Phoenix
Put a Jax basket on that E-bike... just an idea. Great vlog & a very special place. I'm in London UK so I can only imagine how harsh that environment is in the Winter. Probably the wrong area but reminds me of that great film Misty.👍
Love that Acadia park is still your favorite since im from Maine its my favorite to ;) beautiful video. Im renting my first ever rv today because of your videos. Thanks for the inspiration
Really really beautiful. What a video. All of nature’s splendor!!! That e-bike is pretty awesome and not loud like a motorcycle would be. But please be careful in the high altitudes. Watch your breathing
Beautiful National Park. I really have to visit it. If I had to rank the National Parks I have visited, Glacier would be my #1, Yellowstone #2, and Acadia #3. But, it is hard to pick the best. I liked them all.
You sure showed us some spectacular views Eric, however I had to pause you long enough to grab a cup of coffee. I wonder if my National Park Senior pass would get me in there?
9:24 or 9:35 perfect shot for a calendar or retrospective. Hard to believe there aren't tons of people around. Good timing guy!
I'm in England with no chance of ever getting to the US. I would never have known about all the places you go to and through - I had no idea how beautiful Washington is. Thanks for taking me there, Eric!
Never going to "skip a couple of videos". Love the "Nomadic " part of NF. Happy times. Love to you and Jax.
Good advice....
You are so right that is absolutely beautiful. I don't know how you find so many truly beautiful places, but this one is one of the absolute best just like you said. Thank you safe travels, have a wonderful weekend.
This has to be one of the most picturesque videos you’ve produced. Really nice scenery!
It's because he colorizes the video like adding more blue to make the blue fresh water look like the blue of the ocean, it's not real and I wish he wouldn't do it.
@@dsanford12 He's admitted it before and it's obvious from the blue, blue water, Yes it looks pretty but it is a deception..
All you need is a train horn on your bike for those tunnels. Great park!!! Thanks for showing me around!

Fantastic video Eric!
One of your best ever trips.
The film shots are award winning.
You really have a gift for story telling, enjoy.😀
Thank you.
Wow. That park has everything. Rivers, streams, creeks, waterfalls, lakes, tunnels & even a cat!!!
You are one happy camper there! That's a beautiful park. Water, trees and foliage is excellent. That was quite the bike ride. Thanks. 😊👍
man that's gorgeous

Maybe your most spectacular video quality of the rivers and rushing creeks. Fabulous
Agree.
Never miss a video! Keep up the great work Eric!!! Made Jax stop dead in his tracks when you said "THERE'S A PUMA!!!!" 🤣

Dude. Killer Park. Awesome bike. Thanks again. Living the life
Wow the waterfalls were beautiful! never have seen a light system for bikes in tunnels that was cool too! Give Jax a pet for us🤗
I like to sit on rocks & think about stuffs too

Maybe this one should be #1 ~ just beautiful filming, as always!
Excellent vid Eric ! The views are incredible! Thank you !
Awesome video, we love the scenery. Can't wait to see it in the future. Thanks, David and Tammy from Florida.
Thank you for sharing this gorgeous video with us!
Great scenery, and your video production gets better and better.
In east TX, we have wild blackberries that mature in early spring, but no huckleberries. The area you are in is gorgeous! :)
Washington state and Pacific Northwest are awesome !
Very scenic! Nice there’s no crowds. Or even a person.
What a beautiful National Park. Thanks for the vlog.
I love the Northwest!
That looked like a water diversion tunnel.
So incredibly beautiful! Thanks for sharing Eric!
