Just driving thru the mountains and breathing the air there has always been heavenly to me too. And oddly I love the sound of the rain when camping….or out on my patio…it so relaxes me. It’s gorgeous where you are!! Take care sweet lady!! ❤️❤️❤️
I live in Tennessee and we a bunch of black bears. They even wonder into our city. Most of the time they just look around for food and never hurt anyone. Stay safe
Sarah to think 2 weeks from this video you and lil' one were at the ocean! This is one of the reasons i moved to Seattle from Fort Lauderdale, FL 25 years ago! I had never been tent camping, hiked a rain forest trail or seen such mystical looking beaches before living in PNW! I'm so very happy for you having the life you live, its so freeing! I hope you AND lil' one are feeling better wherever you found to recoup from constantly moving...everything in balance. ✌️
Hi Sarah, I'm back to leaving a comment instead of just watching and hitting the like button. To be honest, I miss getting the ❤ you give to everyone who comments. Well almost everyone except the bullies and haters. Thanks for showing us the waterfalls and beautiful clear, unpolluted water! Little one handled those stairs like a champ. She can climb upstairs a lot better than me, but she has four legs and I only have two. Have fun exploring the North Cascades. Hope it gets more like summer for you.
Such beautiful scenery, crystal clear water, and plenty of waterfalls. You probably hated to leave and get back to your hot dry country with no bears to worry about or snow. You will finally see summer. Have more good travels Sarah. We all like your video’s.
I've always fed my dogs first. They eat twice a day, 12 hours apart. I now make all my own dog food for Sabrina. If the dog eats first, then they aren't so anxious when you are eating and you won't feel so bad about it yourself.
Good to see your saved videos. I know you are taking a break that us needed. I used to climb a but and got a book about the North Cascades. I read that it takes 3 days to get into the heart of them. That's because you must walk. No roads. Praying for Little One.
Great area been over high way 20 about 15 or more times over the years my back door some what did you stop at newhalem and see the steam locomotive that's on display right along the highway or Washington pass lookout and seeing Liberty Bell in the distance if not you're missing a lot 🏆🇺🇸🤔
Hi Sarah wow just the drive alone would be worth it to me but then you get to see the Beautiful green colored river and those Waterfalls. And on top of that it's with your little buddy Little one. All very good so glad you are doing well. As for all the wet weather I have all heard the state is pretty rainy and snowey. Well bye for now and take care.
I love Lumpia too! The area you were in is so gorgeous! The view and sound of the waterfalls is so beautiful. Thank you for sharing. Love to you and little one. Safe travels ❤️🙏
I love your pup. For most of my life, I had Pits and Boxers. My wife ended up being scared of bigger dogs. We got a Chihuahua nine years ago. It is by far my favorite. My wife loves our Chi more than she loves me ;-) We'll be exploring those same sights soon. Thanks for sharing!
being a native Washingtonian, I feel your pain about the rain. This year been weird. Our summers are great when it arrives. Rainy season starts in Oct/Nov and ends in late June early July..lol gray skies, drizzle, and rain. But we have all that lovely greenery. Love your videos, and I wish I could figure out how to find places and off roads to go to. Thanks for your travel vlogs!
Good morning!! Oh the sounds of the rushing river and waterfalls do bring an inner peace, telling one, this is where you belong!! Thank you for sharing this beautiful time!! See you soon 😎👋😎
The waters look way to refreshing and enjoyable. I truly enjoy videos like these especially in this terrible heat many but not all are experiencing currently. Enjoy the rain and snow as it was 122 degrees in your home city the other day which is way to hot. The bit of rain from yesterday bothered my work I needed to get done yesterday but it was beating the heat wave at least for a bit.
This was a trip down memory lane as exactly two years ago I drove this very same route. I stood on that very same metal grate bridge that you did in this video. I took route 20 from I-5 near Burlington all the way across to Idaho. Of course I split off in a bunch of different directions to explore, much like you did. Mt. Baker, Mt. Ruby, Cutthroat lake, Grand Coulee Dam, the apple orchards of the Omak region and a bunch of other places. Sadly though, the apple orchards were the only thing that survived the severe wildfires that had just passed through the Omak area because of their extensive irrigation systems. Everything else was burnt black and smelled absolutely awful. It was hard to witness such devastation and even harder to hear the horror stories from the native people there. Washington truly is a beautiful state. The vast amount of terrain changes from one side of the state to the other is mind-boggling. From the ocean, to the many different mountains, valleys, gulches, waterfalls, etc. to the vast fertile plains of Eastern Washington is mind-boggling. Truly one of the hidden gem states in the U.S. I hope that you and the lil one are doing well and getting the deep restoring rest that you need. Take care and keep that chin up kiddo! 😉
Beautiful views of the upper Skagit river and gorgeous Ross Lake hopefully you stopped by Happy Creek and took the walk through the woods boardwalk that’s wheelchair accessible everyone should experience Happy Creek
❤ hello Sara, may your dreams come true you are such a trooper. Your dreams have come true compared to mine but I still have hope. I love you Sara, your friend always Gary.❤❤
Everything is so beautiful. Good to see growth coming back in the burn areas. So cool that you have a bear box. A lot of campers/hikers suspend a bear bag from a sturdy tree. Sounds like you’re in a rainforest/mountain weather pattern. I would gladly have that weather. I’m in NJ & it’s too hot! Send some ❄️❄️❄️! Hugs and love to you & Lil One!❤️❤️
Thankyou I needed the tushing water sounds and that gorgeous view. Forest fire 12 miles from my place. Send rain and snow we are burning up in Central OR.
Beautiful scenery! Never know when a change in the weather will happen in the mountains, make sure you have good weather service to stay ahead of the storms. Regarding the Li'l One and her staring at you: dogs are pack animals who like to be around their families. Is there some reason you don't have Li'l One with you at the picnic table? That's all she wants, and you could feed her at the same time that you eat. Give that a try, you'll both be happier! :)
Was missing the majesty, letting your video run ine the background... until I looked up and saw the corner of the Gorge Powerhouse over your shoulder. Covered that ground, including that trail, last summer. Had to backtrack and pay attention to the beauty of that drive.
Hi Sarah !! Hope you are doing well i love all that senery its beautiful up there . I was thinking about the bear box if i seen a bear i would jump in it 😂 . Stay safe ,i been thinking about you my friend love ya
I can only wish my dog Aimee would watch us eat from a distance. She's literally sitting next to or under one of us staring intensely for the past nine years.
@@kentkippes5773 you have the GOD given right to protect yourself and those around you. You do not have to be some animals dinner unless you are already dead!
Beautiful video. Wish I could drive my 66 Chevelle down those amazing roads. Taking donations for fuel, lol. Littleone just wants some of your food and the Lumpia look good. Now I'm hungry : )
Little one sure was giving you the evil eye 😊 I don’t think I’ve seen a dog do that before LOL. How about feeding her, just before you sit down to eat.
You know what little one is saying to you?? Probably not much different than what my dogs say…goes like this….Mom…Mom….Mom…..I’m head for you if you can’t eat that……Mom….Mom….Mom!!! 😂😂😂 yep, mine do this…..
Thanks for the tour of the area! I could feel the moisture from the rivers, waterfalls, and all that is green. Putting this on my must see travels!

Lil' One is a super sweetheart who ❤❤❤ her Mommy!!
Simply beautiful! Love watching you videos!
Great views. I rode a rental mule near White Wolf Campgrounds in Yosemite for 2 hours on the PCT. Great to know I was on it too.

I just realized that I’m 73 years old & lil one has seen more mountains & waterfalls in her short time than I will ever see! Lucky little girl!
So hot in Vegas, but I'm sure Sarah remembers how July can be. Watching these videos helps cool me off.
Dash cam really gives the viewer ( me🙂) an visual of where you are. Very cool Sarah ty

Probably work better for both if feed her before or same time as you. That way she won't be anxious waiting for you to finish. 😊😊
I love lumpia and it's a beautiful place I just added the North cascade's to my Google maps that I want to go to

90 percent chance of rain in western Washington means another normal day.
Like the weather in England.
I'll take that weather any day...its 108 by me ...Washington is a beautiful state...your in Bigfoot country ...
😀🥶
Nothing like the N. Cascades on a warm summer day. Unfortunately, they are few and far between.
Did you come through Port Townsend?
Stopped by
Check out Eva ZU Beck's female adventure with a dog (now in Idaho) and see the oher side of the coin.
I think I saw Sasquatch and his old lady carrying baskets and picking nuts and berries 😅
That's funny 😂
Hi Sarah ❤😮
Watch out for Yogi and Boo Boo!
