Any knowledge about chemical treatment on woods? I read somewhere that chemical treated woods avoid harmful rot, insects, and prevent weathering and corrosion effects to some extend. Old houses in and around Kadavanthara has been using the process of seasoning ( not manual ) and chemical treatment for the past 30 years . I have seen chemical treated mangium wood being used in floors as well as even mango wood , can be treated ad used for furniture.
We are planning to do all wood works with Teak wood. Is it good?
