This is great! As others have said, you keep things simple and easy to understand. It's obvious that you learned an authentic way to roll your hair. Simple, easy to understand, effective.
thank you I've been looking for a tutorial for an everyday pretty look without having to go to the salon or apply heat all the time. love the results & your demonstration!!! thank you!!
Wow I had so much fun watching your video ! I took notes and drew a head with placement of rollers, so excited to try this method If I am correct you placed 22 rollers in your entire head. You look cute and so lovely ☺️ than you for the info
I prefer to sleep over night in them. I have a dome hair dyer, but I use it more in "emergency" situations. Not my first choice for sure. It works well in a pinch though, like my hair is still wet in the morning. Thanks for watching!
I love the video it is VERY helpful! I going to attempt it as soon as I get some setting lotion. I hope you do a part 2 to show the combing out process and I'm particularly interested in what products you use.
hi blondie. l love your hair wet and hair dry. I would like to see a UA-cam video of you setting your hair in rollers then sitting under your dome hood dryer with foam rollers in your hair. that would be awesome. I love your long hair. I love you princess.
How many foam rollers do you use? I have about 25i think but since I have SOOOO much hair I think I need more and it looks like you use a lot of foam rollers too.
Hi! I was just wondering what the diameter of the rollers you use is? I think depending on the brand, the colour doesn't always correspond to the size universally. Thanks!
I think you should still try and roll them the direction I do. Hopefully that will help them roll in the direction you want and blend with the rest of my hair. My bang section isn't that much longer then yours.
A while ago I cut my bangs, and now that I am growing them out, I don't know what to do with the approx. 5 inch strands of hair. In your opinion, when curling them, should I curl them like yours (to the side) or curl them back? Love the tutorial!
To find a salon that will do classic wet sets like this, your best bet is to go to a beauty school :) While I was in beauty school just a few years ago, wet sets and finger waves and pin curls were an every day thing, and I loved doing them! Sure, there are lots of older ladies who still love getting their hair set every week, but there were a lot of younger ladies who wanted a retro style starting to come in. It was great fun, and the prices are very, very inexpensive :) Enjoy!
+Dollie DeVille (Rockabilly Socialite) I love the rollers, long hair, hair net, gown, hair spray, brush out, hair straight, hair curly, and your hair.I love it all. I love it all. I love. you baby doll.
You are adorable, and this was very imformative. Do you always set at night before bed, or have you ever just gone under the dryer with these? As everyone else has said, please let us enjoy more.
Hi hun. did you ever try this with layered hair? mine has layers and it's a bit of a pain but it does work. I'm afraid to bite the bullet and grow it all one length again.
AngelusSpkGrrl you can do it with layers (I'm currently growing mine out) it just takes a bit more effort to get all of your hair (including the baby hairs!) into the rollers, it's worth bearing in mind that as long you only take hair sections the width of your roller then it should work just as well
This is great! As others have said, you keep things simple and easy to understand. It's obvious that you learned an authentic way to roll your hair. Simple, easy to understand, effective.
i love it all. the rollers, hairnet and your nightgown.

Good luck with it! Wet setting is so much better for your hair. Not as damaging as heat styling.

I think they are about an inch and a half. :)
Great video! Thank you girly!
Yes, I don't notice them at all while I am sleeping. It could be something you just get used to with time. Good luck!
I think you should still try and roll them the direction I do. Hopefully that will help them roll in the direction you want and blend with the rest of my hair. My bang section isn't that much longer then yours.

Have you ever had your hair set, teased bouffanted at an "old lady" beauty parlor? the kind that really know how to do the old dos?
No, I wish! I haven't found one that does it locally. They all use curling irons at my salon.
Almostt a lost art at the same time as Madmen many are wanting to know how??
