They are the same reel, but the Sahara has one more bearing and a couple of arbitrary aesthetic upgrades. Saved you 9 min.

I've a 4000 XG SAHARA and a 1000 SEDONA same model, and let me just say, I'm in love with my little 1000, that lill thing is absolutely amazing, very smooth and strong drag for the size ... The SAHARA I use for heavy spinning and is just as lovely and very light for a 4000 size reel...

I only fish 1000 with braid, I have a Sedona 2000 that’s like new as I primarily fish my 2 Sierra 1000. Gotta love it! Tight lines folks 🎣

For 50-100 you need 4000 or 5000 size.

You can use it in salt water but the design is not water resistant therefore not good to use in saltwater. Its your choice.
