I have the c5000xhg. When spooling it up the line lay is not even - it is thicker towards the lip. I have some shims coming.

This new sahara come with new design, not a bad choice. But for legalis 20/21 modal, and reel 3k-4k size, i go for legalis.

@@AntonyPadilla72 im a guide so trust me i know how to fish.. and this reel is not as good as i thought it would be for its price... a daiwa exeler lt is a better choice... and i say that even when i fish shimano reels 99 procent of the time... shimano reels under 100 euro is to many times crap and you get better reel and more for the money in daiwa for that price range.. there is ni line roller bearing in the sahara thats just bad.. there is platic bushings in the handle knob.. that i can live with ..i changed it to 2 bearings instead but still small handle play with bearings and a shim.. the linerller moves like its filled of fat and glue for say.-. and twist the line like crazy.-.. i got the 2500 5.01 model
