Last night I had a dream. I played what I’d call the best guitar ever. It was black and had an odd design like this, only with a compressible/foldable guitar neck. Weird I know. Then I check UA-cam and I see this. 😳
Hi did you get the 36in one or the 41???
speech your gay woman............................
Mad skills
My mind was totally blown when the acoustic guitar came with built in effects.
a few companies are doing this now, yamaha for example.
Yeah same! I realllly need this guitar in my life
This is an example of companies replicating the Tonewood Amp with it already built into the guitar. If you haven't heard about it, you should check it out.
@@allwegot2373 I think this is cool, but having the Tonewood is so much better then this. Much more control over reverb actions, diff types of verb, delay , wah, chourus or distortion, leslie, and tremolo... all while being able to D.I. out of, and having individual DI settings... Not to mention, you actually get to play a REALLY nice guitar with it. Don't mistake this, I DO think the guitar is super cool, but relegated to a 'travel' guitar since it's small and durable.
@@DIRT2021 I agree.

The stronger/harder the material used to build an acoustic instrument, the better it will resonate and typically sound too. When Stradivarius was making his famous violins 300 some years ago, the world was going though what was called the "little ice age". It was so cold on several years the River Thames froze so thick Londoners would have a winter fair/festival with huge crowds on the river complete with shops, pubs and even fair rides. That long period of bitter cold made all the trees back then grow VERY slowly with incredibly tight growth rings and wood grain, making the wood much more dense and hard helping those violins sound even more amazing.
Thanks for sharing this most interesting story my friend! 😊🌎♥️
Science does not support this. Sounds cutesy, but rings hollow.
@@guckertott which part, the ice age or that dense material creates better acoustics?
@@macgyver5108 To buy into your theory you have to believe the following: 1)that there was a mini ice age during the 30 to 50 year period before Antonio began building producing his instruments; 2) that trees in this vicinity were affected by mini ice age and resultingly had a slower growth rate 3) That the slower growth rate resulted in denser wood, 4) that Antonio sourced his lumber from those trees 5) and that the denser wood is responsible for the superb sound of his instruments. That's what we in the science field call theory stacking.
@@guckertott 1: Stradivarius examples were made starting in the 1680s, and his "Long Pattern" from 1690 to 1700... the "little ice age" started around 1450-1500 at the _latest_ and lasted into the 1800's. If your math sucks, that's almost 190 _years_ before he even got started, last I checked Spruce trees typically don't live that long Archimedes.
2: WHY would he use _Spruce_ that grew in Italy? Wait do Spruce even GROW in Italy??? And why would a good Luthier ("violin maker" for the lay...) source the "right wood" to make a "competitive" violin and the _best wood_ like _Alpine Spruce_ to make a masterpiece from a tree that doesn't even grow in ITALY???
3: slow growing trees equals limited growth and more density, see your mirror for a pictorial example.
4: see 2
5: Google it... YT hates people posting hyperlinks to prove things. There's diver's that ply the depths of the Great Lakes between the US and Canada LOOKING for these dense growth ring old growth logs that sank 300 some years ago on their way to old sawmills, they charge an astronomical price per square "cubic inch" for that old wood. Again, Google why you make subwoofer boxes out of dense MDF vs cardboard.
I have no idea why youtube recommended this to me or why I actually clicked on it... but thank you indeed.
This video is an ad for the guitar, it's a 13 minute commercial. The guitar company paid to have it promoted in people's recommendations. See the "#ad" above the video title?

The carbon fibre guitar sounds great....but I think a large part of that is the person who is playing. You make it sound fantastic! Glad I found this channel.
I love the way you’re responding to this guitar. Spontaneous and genuine, as your mind imagines what you could do with those amazing sounds. It is a pretty incredible guitar. And you’re the right person to showcase its tonal potential. Thanks for the cool vid.

i honestly did not come here for the guitar. i came here to see her play the guitar so freaking beautifully
that's true. Also I wonder if she can play Enya NEXG which is also a carbon fiber guitar.
Finally...an acoustic guitar that won't eat your pick. And even if it does, all you have to do is tilt it so that the pick goes to the sound hole's corner. No more shaking it until the pick ends up at the center!
Amen to that :3

But isn't that just part of the entertainment process? 😂
Just super glue the plectrum to your hand. Easy fix
Happens to me all the time!!!
Tried to motivate my daughter (5years old) to learn an instrument.
Showed several videos with different instruments to her. But it was your video which convinced her the most.
She absolutely wants to learn to play guitar. 🙂
If that's the case, check Miumiu Guitargirl 😊
What ??? She only plays some chords... You want to show her real guitar hero show her Richie kotzen!!!
Have you (and her) considered lesser known instruments? I play the Kravik lyre, and the hurdy gurdy is great for inspiring new people because its spnonteresting and unique.
As someone who was convinced (more like forced) by my parents to play an instrument, if she ends up wanting to stop, *let her*. Please. I am horribly depressed specifically because of being forced to play an instrument that I hate for 9 years. And don't try to force hour long practices on her. If she enjoys the instrument she will practice well and get better on her own, forcing her to practice endlessly so that she's a child prodigy makes playing the instrument a chore and tells her that you don't actually want her to play the instrument for anything but your amusement and so you can use her talent for your own self esteem boost. Thank you :)
Sincerely,
An experienced depressed person.

Tried one today. The sound and feel put me almost in a meditative state of mind. I usually find steelstringed guitars’ string tension hard on my fingers, but this one was very comfortable for my dry, semi-old fingers. Money will be steered in this direction, when it (the money🔭) shows up.
I loved watching your facial expressions when it responded to your touch. I could see your excitement and pleasure as you tried everything out and experienced the response of the guitar. Now I want one. Thanks. ❤

I like what they did with the sound hole. It reminds me of something I read about violins, that you get more power out of the instrument by increasing the perimeter of the sound hole, but you also get more power if you can keep a larger surface area on the face of the instrument. A longer, skinnier sound hole maximizes both of those things. Finally, putting it where they did keeps your hand from blocking it, so you'll always get full sound when you're playing acoustic.

Cool guitar also ; )
Several years ago I had access to a carbon fiber guitar for about
a week and spent a lot of time playing it. As the week progressed I spent more and more time
playing it, to the point where in the morning it was the first thing I did - grab the guitar. Toward
the end, knowing my time with it was short, I spent most of the day playing it.
Foremost: This guitar had balance across the strings and up the neck unlike
any guitar I've ever played. Nothing else is even close in my experience. Not
one wolf tone/bad note anywhere on the neck. Perfect action. The balance
causes each note in a chord, say a four-note jazz chord, to really stand out.
Equally as impressive was the sustain. This guitar sang.
The tone and loudness were impressive. You could push it and it still sounded beautiful.
I have played many acoustic guitars from low end to high end and almost none could equal
this guitar. Definitely none could equal its even tone and sustain throughout the range.
Another interesting thing about carbon fiber guitars, is that people will push back on you,
people who have never even played one! But that is human nature, ain't it?
To all you pickers out there, especially acoustic pickers, I'd recommend trying out
this type of guitar.
I believe the guitar was a Composite Acoustics Legacy model. I'll affirm and get back to
you. Thanks for the review!
I'm an acoustic fingerpicker, and I tell you that I could never play Country Blues on a carbon fiber guitar, no matter how "good" it would sound.
Carbon fiber is a thing, WOOD is a completely different thing. It is a matter of "soul", and not of loudness, tone, sustain, etc., if you understand me.
There will never be comparison at all.
Try and play "John Henry" on a carbon fiber guitar...
ua-cam.com/video/qNmehE3h5Uw/v-deo.html
@@andsalomoni I think this mentality is really pretentious and doesn't hold water. If she played this exact song on this guitar, it would sound just as good. I won't argue that the type of material you play on impacts sound. I will argue that it's a bit disingenuous to say "there's no comparison at all." It's just two different sounds. What if someone preferred carbon fiber over wood? How would you argue with them my dude? You can't, because it's subjective anyways. You're welcome to your opinion but that's all it is.
@@joshuabuchanan9106 I never said that it is not subjective. I said that it is a matter of "soul". Thanks for introducing me to my next guitar, Mary. WOW!
I've watched this video multiple times now, and it almost - comes within a razor's edge - persuades me to spend the money to get one. For an inept hobby guitarist, it would be hugely expensive, but "small," "light," "carbon fiber," "built-in FX" are all magical terms. Then add that there are common effects built right into it… well… it's hard to resist.
"It looks expensive." Checks amazon. Yes.
It's really not bad, considering a top-of-the-line Martin or Taylor starts at $4K, depending on specs.
It's $800. That's extremely affordable as far as quality guitars go, especially for something unique like this. It's about as much as a mid-range Epiphone or Fender Stratocaster.
If you're seriously looking to purchase a nice guitar but you're also on a budget, then you're probably looking to spend somewhere between $500-$1000. Of course you can go cheaper or more expensive, but that price range is pretty typical.
