Love to see a father-son duo enjoying the game and sharing their experience! I just installed some JumboMax grips and I'm livid that I've wasted so much time until now with the wrong grips! Everyone's different but my hands and wrists simply cannot work with skinny normal grips.
I’ve had them for a year on everything but my putter. I’ll give a qualified thumbs up. They got rid of tenderness in my elbows and wrists. Also, they allow me to control the club with a lighter grip. I especially like them on wedges, because they make it easier to avoid being handsy. The downside is that they take away feel. It’s hard to tell where on the club face I’m making contact.
Ive heard a lot of people love them on their wedges as it takes the hands out of it. Im planning on getting larger grips on all my clubs soon. Thanks for the review!
Im a 9 handicapper who has had the case of the pulls and hook for 9 months now. Ive tried every grip possible. Until i found these. I ordered them last week and cant wait to give them a go. I have only read positive review's. The one thing i have heard from many people and have read a lot is. You do all your clubs or none at all. Because as time goes on a normal grip will feel to small and changing back and forth isnt good for your game.
100 percent agree! Been waiting for them to get off back order to do just that. It feels so weird to try and swing my clubs with regular grips now 🤦♂️
I just had the ultra light mediums put on my 7iron and will be getting all my grips changed to these. I love them and feel so much more control of my club face. one thing I can see is you are swinging your hands towards the ball instead of dropping them down and shallowing on the down swing.
Awesome. Yeah my plan as well with all the clubs. Any pointers are welcome too because I wanna get better with that….what do you mean by “shallowing on the down swing? Do you think it’s a club size thing with me being 6’7”? Or more of a form thing? Thanks in advance
@@Dilligolf It means you are moving your hands to the ball instead of them dropping down and back. check out slow motion vids of pros and watch what you are doing differently in the down swing.
Your grip guy should have blown the grip on with an air compressor. Easy to remove and change especially with a driver when you change the loft you can fix the wonky grip. At $16 a grip you don't want to waste it either. Yeah, been playing the STR8 Ultralite XS and recently the STR8 Tour grips as well for a number of years. The Tour is 83gm so you have counter balancing. Advice - make sure you don't hold it too much in the palm and you can fade or draw the ball at will. Work on your swing too, you should be carrying that ball 270+ with the height and arm... jus sayin' 👍👍
Appreciate the input. Finally put em on my whole set and went with the tour on the irons. Felt better with that counter. And swing work is definitely in progress. You shoulda seen it before I started recording stuff….. yikes hahahha
I tried the meduim and hated them. went back to normal midsize forma while then tried their size XS which is still bigger then a notmsl jumbo. Those i love. it did reduce the amount of movement on the ball. with the mediums i usually played a draw and best i could do is a straight push. With the XS i can move the ball fade or draw and no hooks which was my miss i can realy go after it and not worry about the pull hook.

Agreed. It was a complete game changer for bothe forearm pain and club head control!

That elbow, forearm pain gone was magic 😎👍

Yep the more I play with it the more I realize these will be great for all my clubs. In fact went in to get more today and they were sold out 🤦♂️🤣

Nice! Yeah now it sucks because I went to get em on all my clubs and they’re back ordered till mid October 🤦♂️🤣
Funny thing is Daly is sponsored by superstroke and he just did free marketing for jumbomax
And a great job of it too. Went to get some on a few more clubs this weekend and they were sold out for the next couple weeks 😳😳
@@Dilligolf not surprised.
Great on wedges
Going to get em put on all of em but they are now back ordered 😞. I’d like to think it was my video but most likely it was Bryson Dechambeau’s 🤣🤣
Worth it
Absolutely!
What did your son think of them?
He loves em!! Wants to get the whole set done too
Go Memphis. I do need a new putter grip.
I saw an ad for jumbomax putter grips yesterday. I have a super stroke on mine though
Go one less size on wedges
So drop down to a medium? For the wedges?
Not true. They straightened me out and helped me swing harder
After I adjusted I was able to get it pretty good and pretty straight as well
I’ve tried the jumbos they are to big for my short ass and small hands
Did you get fitted for em? They have smaller sizes too 👍👍
And my hands have no pain anymore
That was the biggest thing I noticed but in my forearms
Way to much use of “awesome “ 😂😂😂😂
That’s awesome for you to notice 🤣😂
