I had JumboMax mid ultralights put on my irons 6 or 7 rounds ago. Great results so far. Hitting the ball much straighter and as a result I’m taking more aggressive lines into the greens. They are a confidence builder, for me anyway. Just had them put on my driver, woods and wedges. It will be an interesting transition now that I’ll be playing with a full set with JumboMax grips. Much appreciate the review and your opinion on them!
Thanks for the review and sharing your thoughts and experiences. I’ve been on the fence for trying them and maybe this Winter I’ll do my woods and if that goes well hybrids and then remaining irons. Thanks again!
I've been the JumboMax grips for 3 years now, starting with the XL and then each year going down in size, this year using the JumboMax X-Small. I can say my favorite is the X-Small, with the driver I'm able to make minor tweaks to the face to get it square, this has helped me bomb my drivers straight, maybe with a little cut. With Irons, the grips allow me to keep the face the same/closed throughout the swing. I love the JumboMax grips, I would never get a shaft without them.
Great review Randy. People don't have any idea how important it is to have a grip that fits your hands, until they actually experience it. I've been playing JumboMax grips since they first came out and on the driver it feels like cheating. Like you, I use the Tour Series on my driver for the counter-balance effect but then the Ultralites on my irons because they are graphite shafts & I like to feel the club head weight a bit more.
I love them the confidence I have now with the consistency has been huge. I'm going to be getting in the simulator this winter to actually get some numbers myself kind of my next goals.
Yeah if anything the jumbomax may be a little bigger they also have different sizes i went with the medium so it's probably comparable but the larger grips just make my swing and club face control a lot more consistent.
To me it actually makes the club feel lighter at least the club head and I know for sure I am swinging faster and getting more distance. I like the feel of them and it does help with keeping my hands steady so my clubface is way more consistent than with the smaller grips.

Thank you I love them dont think I could go back to regular grips now

Shouldnt put with pin in. Tells folks behind that the hole is open/clear and the ball has a tendency to hit pin and bounce away like a pinball.
Big fan as well I went with the medium and hit it a mile now and way more consistent
I go back and forth usually if I'm further away or just trying to play a quick solo round I will leave them in
I’ve got XL gloves but the XS is my favorite size too. Feels super comfortable like a baseball bat

Thank you it has been a game changer for me don't think I will ever go back.
just bought a full set in small, hoping to try them out soon, I have a trackman so ill get some data on how they change things for me.

Just curious, I have the mcc +4 with an extra 2 layers of tape so is that on the jumbo max scale?

So what was the change in your swing weight?
How about the shaft flex change with a huge damper between your hand and shaft?

Which model of JMX did you use?
Jumbomax it's the Grey and black version so I don't think they are the super lite but I use the medium
@@randygibsongolf4618 the tour series then? If it’s not ultra lite or zenlite
I was getting ready to type back hahaha the tour series are the ones I have and they are great
@@randygibsongolf4618 do you find the swing or swing weight being weird because of its heavy grip weight?
It seems to help me because the head of the club feels lighter so I can deliver the club head and face more consistently the same way
I thought this was a shit video at first but then u hit some really good shots. Cheers
Thanks working on my game and video skills hahaha
Yeah I thought this guy was a real wanker as well, but he grows on you and now I like to hear his feedback
