- A nice little kit I've been able to assemble for my friend Lars.
The model is going to be part of a dio with the Roden Gotha - built several month before.

The pilot getting on at the end was nicely done.
Yes, that's what makes Tom's uploads that extra bit special. Amazing work.
This is not just model making, it's story telling. The pilot flies off at the end reminds us why we build models in the first place. The lighting, animation and sound design all work very well together. I look forward to an air field diorama scene ;)

This was one of the first glue/paint models I've ever got. I made it when I was about 8 and I still have it. Of course it looks like it crashed in the water.

+Ethan Ton On a Wooden Colorbase - I did similar to the propeller at the Airfix Fokker clip - I sprayed 2 layers of aqua gloss (alclad II).

Aber eine Frage: Welche Farben hast du verwendet? Ich suche momentan nach passenden Tönen für das WWI-Camo der Luftstreitkräfte des deutschen Kaiserreichs, also violett-grün-hellbau-/grün-grau.
Hättest Du eventuell Tipps?

The color WWI Purple, natural wood, matt, No. 107 does not exist? The color described there looks like purple? Can someone help me what they mean?
Amazing plastic pilot who enters the cockpit ! In 1980, I remember the Junkers D1 in the museum Chalais-Meudon before the desecration of his authentic painting by an association unscrupulous for whimsical restorations.
Destroying the testimony of the actual color used at the time. Unfortunately, many models have followed this abuse.These bad restorations are now at Le Bourget...Other museums have followed this example. It would have been convenient to leave as much as possible in the original state the guenine aircrafts, and earn money by building copies for such misguided associations. Thing that I had mailed by being saddened by the incompetence of French curators. I have never been invited and considered seriously. Such a shame...
