all beautiful and wonderful, but (at my ripe age) I can only regret the times of the Airfix, the Aurora and the Monogram. Today we are no longer model makers, but watchmakers, engravers, micro surgeons, painters like Michelangelo or Leonardo da Vinci ..... and I don't know how much fun we can still find in our hobby. However your Albatros is spectacular. Best regards
Thanks you for your precious comment. Eduard kit (This model) is made with new molding technology. In general, I can say that it is a detailed and good kit. I wish you happiness in everything you do.
Nice. When you paint over the pencil you note that you use acrylic thinner to thin down the Tamiya. Is this a deliberate choice instead of something like Mr. Levelling Thinner? Is there some reaction you want (or want to avoid) with the pencil?
Hi. There was no special reason for me to choose acrylic thinner in the process you mentioned. Since the paints are acrylic, I used acrylic thinner. If you want Mr. Leveling thinner you can also use. I don't think there will be an adverse reaction.
Thanks for the amazing video! Your weathering tips helped me finally achieve a realistic wood modification. Appreciate you sharing your expertise!
I am very glad that the video was helpful, thank you for your nice comment.
Lovely work on the wooden fuselage, and "Oh Boy!" that rigging! 👍👍
Thank you.
How can such a tiny model look so "big" and "physical"? Great Work, mate!!! Outstanding!
Thank you very much mate. 🙏
Fantastic build, the wooden prop blew my mind!
Thank you very much🤝🙏

Excellent job! Especially the wood effect & weathering.

I watched this to see how you made the wing fabric look like cloth. Excellent job as with the rigging!
