**Thanks For Watching This Video**
I’ve just sold my fj after 10 years and 320,000kms..not once did it ever let me down..one of if not the best 4x4 I’ve ever owned..
I don’t think I can bring myself to sell it. Thought about it many times… but I’ve put too much money & effort into it… plus it’s such an awesome vehicle.
Looks like you guys had an awesome trip!
Yes, we had a lot of fun! Thanks for watching!! 🙂👍
Nice video and awesome adventure! it's the FJ wave Artie , I miss my FJ and all the waves from other owners
Yes, it’s definitely a thing, the wave. 🙂
Great video mate
Thankyou kindly!
Hi Attila, great Video. We went up that road into NT last year. We love the outback, too.
The space ship in Coober Pedy is, by the way, from the first Pitch Black movie 😉.
Keep up the good work and cheers from Turramurra.
PS: I also keep getting in trouble for filming too much 😆
Awesome! I’ll have to check out that movie. (There’s a fantastic music shop in Turramurra!). 🙂👍
Great video Arty.
Thanks very much Andrew!! 🙂👍
G'day. Enjoyed the video Artie.. was shocked the FJ was petrol... ever wished it was a diesel?
Yes, but they only had a petrol version. Still an awesome car & still going strong after 8 years and 1 billion corrugations :)
Great one guys👍👍👍
Thankyou kindly! 🙂👍
20lts/100… WOW! What is your usual ‘mileage’? I get around 13 out of mine, never had to use 91 yet. Keep the great content coming!
AND… I’m pretty sure there was another shooting star just before the one you highlighted. 😊
Always used 91..got 18l per 100km..never got any less unless a strong head wind
I pretty much only use 91 and I get 13 - 14L/100km from my FJ - I tried E10 for a while but got worse fuel economy from that, worse than the cost gain from it being cheaper - maybe I should run 98 for a while and see what I get, but not sure the economy gain will be worth the greater cost per litre
I usually get around 16L/100 city driving. The old FJ is heavy…
@@4xAdventures once you said it, I took more notice of the gear on the roof too! 😀
Ha! Yes, for this trip, I needed the extra gear. Maybe I need a bigger car 😂
it looks like your front UHF ariel didn’t make the trip 😢
Well spotted! No, the bracket snapped off. The first of a few things to break on this trip… 🤷🏻♂️
Loved the video! Beautiful part of the world. Just a quick question for you, why did you go for a petrol rather than a Diesel for your truck? As for the skies.... I remember flying in towards Sydney at daybreak, never seen a sky as amazing as in Australia.
Well, the FJ only came in a petrol variant. Next car will be diesel.
