Hey Tyler, that was an excellent insight into the process of having your vehicle engineered. Great to have allowed you to film some segments of the actual processes... Great it passed. 👏🚙👍
I think every four-wheel-drive I should see this video. Before they even think about changing anything on The vehicle. Well done Tyson Thompson about time someone done a very well informed video about the subject.
Great information here. Superb insight into the engineering process. I'm from NSW too and based on what was covered here, my 1996 Landcruiser 80 Series petrol is well within the allowable modifications before engineering is required (ie. 50mm lift, standard size tyres (32"), and OEM exhaust). Thanks for sharing.👍👍
Being my 2015 gu patrol is still in excellent condition, and used as a family vehicle, I only plan on fitting a efs 2inch lift and running a true 33inch tyres, so after speaking to our engineering guys here in tassie I'm still 100% legal without having to get mod plated. Plus also having very young children I don't want mine to heigh trying to get the kids in and out of it. But even while my gu is stock suspension it's still rather capable off road. Love the fact It has all live axles front and rear and a rear diff locker. And it's all manual transmission. Good thing they are holding their value very well atm. Mine is still around 62k fully insured with less than 49k on the clock. Also cheers for the no bs channel not like another major channel out their that sugar coats every mod under the sun.
Nice work mate and that you are open and honest. It is important that your vehicle is safe for you to use but also other road users as well. I think that is one thing others forget.
My Mitsubishi Triton High Rider(L200 or Strada) original wheels were LT205R16. Now I've got 265/75r16LT all terrains. They fit without doing anything to the suspension. The high rider version sits high though
Basically any mod needs to be engineered. If you fit a bull bar, it changes the length of the vehicle, it’s not compliant to what the car was out of the factory.
@@dangray5932 there is a lot of grey areas about what does and doesn’t need to be engineered. I could tell you one thing and it could be the exact opposite. Fitting a bull bar and a rear wheel carrier will alter the length of the vehicle, there for it isn’t the length that is on the compliance. Same as if you put off camber tyres and it makes the car 3inches wider, it not to compliance so yeah technically it needs to be done
Had my 2002 Zd30 Engineered on Thursday (rear seat removal and fitout, and Exhaust system) car is 50m lifted and slightly wider tires , other than that pretty normal. Cost was $895, and took all up 4.5 hrs. Biggest pain was the time it takes to get an engineer. But all done now.
The mod regs are why people are starting to move towards 4500kg gvm and over, as once you hit light truck registration doesn’t have any of those restrictions. You can run 40’s with 6 inch + lifts no problem. Only restriction is the headlight height. And only braking tests required no swerve test
@@andrewcakulslynnetteoregan3934 this is incorrect, each state is slightly different but in nsw it’s 0.05 unless your over 13.9t gvm, in a bus or carting placarded dangerous goods. Qld, vic, sa and wa is the same
@@nathan100tz correct unless it’s done under SSM, but the engineering isn’t as in depth compared to light vehicles, no swerve testing etc, just braking. And the two companies that sell the rims for the super single upgrades do all the engineering or SSM as part of the package
And where I live they pretty much require only mud flaps if you lift the vehicle and even thats not really enforced much. I put a 3rd brake light back on my jeep and am fabricating some flaps anyway.
There's this young fella in my town who drives around in his full-on comp rig GU Patrol with 37's and at least 7 inch overall lift. He said he's been stopped by the police a few times but they are so impressed by the build, it looks so professionally done that they have never tried to defect him. This is in Queensland.
Great vid, nice to see some of the behind the scenes testing that’s involved with the whole process. Will be going through this process later this year to get my duramax converted patrol legal here in SA. Hoping to get it done with the current 4” lift and going up to 35’s from the current 33’s. Quote was about $5k to get it signed off.
Hi Tyler, thanks for taking the time to do this video. I have enjoyed watching the process you've gone through and it's nice to see a positive interaction with the police given others experiences that have been posted on UA-cam in the recent past.
The engineering cost for everything involved with the certificate, paperwork, inspections and the testing side of things. I find it to be quite fair. It’s expensive yes, but not unreasonable. Not anymore expensive than basic suspension.
Maaate...38s??...coppers here would have a field day and the soft cocks would be crying out to ban your "dangerous kiling machine 4x4". That's the sentiment these tools have over here.
Congrats Tyler on the certification! 🤙. I’m sure that’s a very big deal and a huge weight off your chest, both for legal and safety reasons…. It makes me realize and feel a lot more on how much leniency but also on how much more risky, as far as safety is concerned, things are here in the US. We have NONE of those requirements. Except emissions, and possibly GVM but unless you’re in an accident and insurance has to get involved is when “potentially” it could come into play. Everything else is an easy pass here. I come from a mechanical engineering background so doing things correctly and in spec for my families and others sake is extremely important to me, so it was nice to see all the things that are necessary to have a properly engineered vehicle and what is expected after upgrading and adding mods. And it was also nice to see I have most of those things done. 💪. I would very much like to have a brake test performed even though I upgraded mine. I took plenty of notes. Thanks for this brother… 🙏 Good to see Australia is taking care of their people, even though it may be a bit of a hassle. ❤️🇦🇺 Curious, does your front sway bars need to be installed for it to pass too?
coil suspension allways has swaybars. this engineering is a money grab. im in a 4x4 club, we had a cop talk about mods.. next day you sell your 4x4, cos it aint worth having one. i have a 1975 highboy. cut to swb, 4w disc, 351, 5sp, lockers. 35,s. 26'' to sill. not raised.. metal dash, ford leather s/wheel. 82 bronco sas. 02 s/duty,3'' lift, 35,s. 62 f100 4x4, 352 fe.. &,,a dodge chall r/t 340.. in aus.. were treated like 3 yr olds here. there is no 4x4 industry. just b/bars, r/racks, winches, no d o m . no johny joints, no doublers, no unshitable uni,s. fk all..stupid thing is, you can raise the vehicle 3'' with std pizza cutters..is that safe..no fkn way..comment in u.s. was, if you raise vehicle 3'', get 3'' bigger tires.. to offset weight.centre..even slotted drilled discs are illegal.. i have 4 on the h/boy..sssshhhhh......its illegal....even s/s b/lines, were illegal..this country is fkt..stay home wear your mask,die...thank you for complying..
It’s pretty crap that we have different laws in different states. Why is 2” lift and 33’s unsafe when you cross the border. We are such a nanny country
Thank you for sharing this story! My "Highlux" (nick name) is fitted with the Superior Engineering 4" lift kit. (Already fitted when I bought it.) This kit doesn't change any of the suspension angles etc from standard but does change the chassis height. This increases the approach, ramp over and departure angles only. Attached to the firewall is a QLD modification plate with a code number. The vehicle was sold to me as engineered (by the plate) but it turns out that the plate is for the long range tank not the suspension lift! I have had no issues with registering it over the last 3 years as it sits but I'm not sure if it is intact engineered properly. There is nothing noted on my registration papers in regards to modification. Having watched your great video, I'm now going to check with the RMS as to where I stand! Keep the great videos coming!
In order for it to have been re-registered in NSW, would it have not passed without the relevant engineering required? This is why I'm going to check if its been done or not. To much confusion!
Unfortunately there was a convoy of NSW modified 4x4s on 35s that got done by vic pol over easter in the HC. I know I was down there sweating it out on my 35s with my eng cert. And the td42s will get thru easy with a set if ebc yellowstuff and new rotors.
Engineering gone up a bit I had my old r31 skyline Engineered cost $1100. Started its life as a NA auto rb30. It ended up with rb25det engine, rb25 box, spooled diff, big turbo, coilover suspension, big exhaust and more
All my years of Compliance testing and Homologation have I ever seen a test conducted in a "NON Controlled" environment. The brake test conducted was done on a public road, the coefficient of drag is not know so can only be used as an indicator. The Slalom test was through a single set of cones, tests are conducted with 12 cones at 18m intervals. One thing I do agree with is Australia should have a single vehicle compliance rule, not state for state.
Thanks for the video. Very informative. I can understand why the certification is so detailed and subsequently rather costly. The different state requirements are a prime reason why our country's Federation requires a major review.
Wow. I watched this video because I had no idea what “defected” even meant. As an American viewer, seeing what you have to go through to modify a vehicle in Australia seems outrageous. I guess you’re used to it there, but we don’t have anything like that here (except maybe in Commi-fornia) and if they tried to enact it, people in the off-road community would go absolutely off the rails in rebellion. I feel sorry for you guys over there that want to live the off-road life. It looks hard and very expensive. I certainly makes me appreciate the freedom we have in the U.S. Love your channel though. I appreciate your honesty, openness and in depth info, behind the scenes stuff and it’s interesting to see what it’s like there compared to here. Cheers mate!
Cheers Tyler this helps me out alot, slowly working my way to getting my GQ engineered in NSW. You have opened my eyes up alot more and made me realise there are some extra parts I need to get😂. Cheers brother
How does this effect insurance? I would imagine an engineered highly modified vehicle would cost more than a standard one for full comp insurance but I may well be wrong!!
@Hates Spam yeah but if you get in an accident in a defective or illegal vehicle even if its not your fault insurance can deem you liable and you won't get a cent and may even have to pay other persons damages!!
@Hates Spam yeah I was just basically stating that if it wasn't engineered insurance could be a problem. Personally I just run 2 inch and 33s on my gu wagon to keep it legal but would love to go down Tyler's route one day!!!
What is the process with those 79 cruisers that do the legal 4inch 35s and so on??they do a whole bunch of things like you stated about brakes, suspension diffs and so on...but i havent seen them do anything on a 79 series in regards to the headlights....do you know if they do anything to adjust the headlights?
This stuff is fascinating to me since you can modify about anything yourself here in Arizona and no one really checks anything if you're not causing a problem. People take a road legal vehicle and make into a buggy with 42"+ tires and can still get away running it on the street with sticky tires and bead locks for short trips between trails.
This is a very helpful video, I was thinking of going to 33's for my Hilux and few other mods that will require engineering but I think I'll just stick to legal mods because I can't be bothered with the process
is it ifs..if so, junk it, buy something with 2 diffs. ifs 4x4rs should be banned..hilux roll on swerve test..std..theres a vid on it.. its the moose test. in europe. i have an f250 highboy, here in aus. its 26'' to the sill..std factory..with 35,s..4w disc, 5sp, lockers.. gooo toyota,,no fkn way..

Great vid I’m in the process of taking out my cheap hilux 4inch ifs lift, going 2inch suspension 1 inch body lift as I’ve had issues with caster/camber an knocking out the alignment all together .Im sure there’s lift kits that can fix this.but it’s money better spent getting out on weekends than going through the engineering process.
I wouldn't have thought you would need to get the vehicle Engineered for Bull bar and Side steps. Because in my circumstance I have a new Superior Engineered GVM upgrade done before rego on a new car but have put a bull bar and side step on after i got the car.. Seems a bit silly to have to get it Engineered again for those mods.
Wow, that is crazy you guys have to do all that. I threw a 2 inch suspension lift on my surf along with a 2 inch body lift. I stuck on 33" tyres as I couldn't squeeze 35"'s in. I don't have to do anything at all as that is all legal in Scotland. I could put 38" on my cruiser and as long as they don't go more than an inch and a half past the arch then it's all good, just slap on some arch extensions if its too much. I can't believe it's so restrictive with you guys, what a pain in the arse having to do all that. Truck looks good though bro 👍🏴
Great Video mate. Love how you discuss everything. By doing that I found out I can't put 33' tryes on my car. Its a PX Ranger with a 2inch Lift. I was thinking of putting 33' on. You said only go 32' to make it Legal. Cheers Mate
My colorado RG came stock with 245/70/16 but some other models come with 265s with the same chassis, GVM etc. I'm wondering if 265 would be considered the largest diameter tyre for my model, or 245?
after this poped up in my recommends again i had another though re-watching this the spedo test my rig is a 1998 75 cruiser it has a mechanical speedo 1- the little gear sets to adjust the speedo have not been sold for over a decade so i have no way to correct it 2- its a 1998 car the current law about speedo accuracy came in 2006 when my rig was made it could be +- 10 km/h does the engineer take into account my speedo was never made for accuracy and exempts it?
Good video Tyler, here's my experience, I had a GVM upgrade done on an FJ Cruiser, the engineering cert stipulates the suspension fitted and that's the only suspension that can be fitted no changing springs, shocks etc, it rode awful and I ended up selling it, be careful with GVM upgrades a bigger truck might be a better option.
So many 100 & 200 series Landcruisers towing large caravans could be sidelined by the Dept Against Transport because their payloads are quite low. 180-200kg ball weight, 4-5 passengers, loaded with gear inside & on the roof, large fridge, fuel tanks near full, steel bull bar, dual batteries... They’re over. I don’t know why more of them aren’t made examples of as they’re easy targets. Lighter 4wds generally have higher payloads than the heavier ones. A great example is a 90 series Prado has a payload of up to 997kg depending on the variant. Landcruisers are around the 560-600kg mark which is next to nothing on the greater scheme of things for such a large vehicle.
@@dangray5932 Thanks, and to answer the question you asked yourself, yes Cliff Booth is my real name. My parents had a sense of humour. I was thrilled when Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon a Time In Hollywood movie came out. Of all the names in the world characters could use, Brad Pitt’s character shared my name. Made me happy.
Very straightforward vid on the modification and engineering process in NSW that otherwise honestly seems to be a bit of dark art. Cheers for demystifying everything somewhat! 🍻
Nope no minimum for them only the rear. The rear can also be at the rear of the car also. Is a angle from tyre to rear. The further back the short it need to be
Thanks Tyler, good to see this info as I plan to drive through NSW soon. As I understand it, in Vic its 50mm overall with a tolerance of +/- 25mm. That means the 4x4 can measure up to 75mm from manufacture ride height without enforcing an engineer certificate. (I'm 50mm suspension and 32.7 tyres) Informing your insurance company is the big one down here, they can (and will) knock back your claim if you haven't informed them of your mods. My mods cost an extra $170 on my insurance, but at least I know I'm insured!
Hey mate what brand tires did you use and were they muddies? My engineer is advising aggainst using muddies and wants all terrains. Also, noticed you are engineered for 315/75/16 tires but i was wondering if you could go up to a 315/70/17 which is actually smaller than the 16"?
Good to see you didn't carry on like a muppet over the defect like so many do. You knew it was not legal and you copped it even though you were lucky to avoid the fine. Did they say anything about the Bead Locks though? From my understanding they are not approved for on road use and therefore not classified as legal. I may of missed that part but don't recall it being mentioned.
@@operation4wheelz That was sort of my understanding. If you change or modify anything after the cert is done it voids it. Also that Bead Locks not being approved in its self Ive understood to be defect.
Saw that you had the beadlock rims removed for engineering, does that mean they won't be going back on or will you risk it by running them and waste the time and money of getting it engineered?
Hey Tyler, have you been pulled over since having it engineered? If so, what’s the process explaining to them that it is engineered & showing them paperwork? I’ve heard of people with engineered vehicles still being defected.
In qld you get a blue plate added to the vehicle and you need to carry documentation stating what was the mod was, who inspected/certified it etc. It is also lodged with transport so they have a record also
I’m on the south coast too les. Haven’t had a car defected but I had a bike defected and have had the same cop sticker it a few times for the same thing I got cleared as legal haha. Its a fuck around but it’s a great feeling when you get to tell them they’re wrong 😂
Patrols are dangerous stock standard with the 80km/h handshakes and the spontaneous combustion when the wires on the firewall rub through and set the engine bay on fire. Superior Engineering suspension and wrapping the wiring harness properly are 2 good things to do asap.

Thank god we don't have tough regulations like you guys here in the UK 🏴👍
why? So you can do whatever you like to your vehicle even if it makes it unsafe and a risk to others?
I've heard when you go from 32" tyres to 33" the headlights turn into machine guns and the cruise control becomes a pedestrian target locking device
Meh - don’t need tough regs when you guys roll on 31’s😁
but then you pay 3k a year for a 1.2 shitbox in insurance
Hey Tyler, that was an excellent insight into the process of having your vehicle engineered. Great to have allowed you to film some segments of the actual processes...
Great it passed. 👏🚙👍
Cheers mate
I think every four-wheel-drive I should see this video. Before they even think about changing anything on The vehicle. Well done Tyson Thompson about time someone done a very well informed video about the subject.
Great information here. Superb insight into the engineering process. I'm from NSW too and based on what was covered here, my 1996 Landcruiser 80 Series petrol is well within the allowable modifications before engineering is required (ie. 50mm lift, standard size tyres (32"), and OEM exhaust). Thanks for sharing.👍👍
BTW Tyler, did you cover seats with the engineer? Is changing the OEM seats require an engineer's certificate?
Very informative. That bloke is a legend for letting us see the process
Didn’t know an extra long range fuel tank needed engineering. I learnt something new today! Cheers Tyler!!
Basically any mod needs to be engineered. If you fit a bull bar, it changes the length of the vehicle, it’s not compliant to what the car was out of the factory.
@@raymondhayne1250
If you fit an aftermarket bullbar that is the same size as a factory optioned bullbar does it still have to be engineered?
Thanks for covering this. It;s not something I had thought about much. Its good to know the limits and costs.
5:10 it's 7% or up to 50mm larger diameter, whichever is less, I believe.
Wow what an interesting and informative video. You're the only one who actually shows the whole process and now it's much more understandable.
The mod regs are why people are starting to move towards 4500kg gvm and over, as once you hit light truck registration doesn’t have any of those restrictions. You can run 40’s with 6 inch + lifts no problem. Only restriction is the headlight height. And only braking tests required no swerve test
And zero blood alcohol so no lunch time drink!
@@andrewcakulslynnetteoregan3934 this is incorrect, each state is slightly different but in nsw it’s 0.05 unless your over 13.9t gvm, in a bus or carting placarded dangerous goods. Qld, vic, sa and wa is the same
Frank are you sure? That's awesome
Still need engineering for 37s or 40s on the light trucks like Isuzu and Canters
@@nathan100tz correct unless it’s done under SSM, but the engineering isn’t as in depth compared to light vehicles, no swerve testing etc, just braking. And the two companies that sell the rims for the super single upgrades do all the engineering or SSM as part of the package
Honest and humble, good video.
And where I live they pretty much require only mud flaps if you lift the vehicle and even thats not really enforced much. I put a 3rd brake light back on my jeep and am fabricating some flaps anyway.
Great video I'm just about to go through this process with my supercharged 6ltr 105 series.
There's this young fella in my town who drives around in his full-on comp rig GU Patrol with 37's and at least 7 inch overall lift. He said he's been stopped by the police a few times but they are so impressed by the build, it looks so professionally done that they have never tried to defect him. This is in Queensland.
Great video mate, very informative.
Glad you enjoyed it
Great Content Mate good to see what goes on behind the scenes
Great vid, nice to see some of the behind the scenes testing that’s involved with the whole process. Will be going through this process later this year to get my duramax converted patrol legal here in SA. Hoping to get it done with the current 4” lift and going up to 35’s from the current 33’s. Quote was about $5k to get it signed off.
yo im from port area aswell! running a big green 75 series with roof extension. love this talk! is a good topic alot more people need to be aware of
Hi Tyler, thanks for taking the time to do this video.
I could add so many comments to this video mate. But I’ll just sum it all up and say well done. Super informative and great viewing. Thankyou.
Thanks mate!
So glad I live in the States, my Hilux is on 38s with dual cases.
Thanks for this brother… 🙏
Good to see Australia is taking care of their people, even though it may be a bit of a hassle. ❤️🇦🇺
Curious, does your front sway bars need to be installed for it to pass too?
coil suspension allways has swaybars. this engineering is a money grab. im in a 4x4 club, we had a cop talk about mods.. next day you sell your 4x4, cos it aint worth having one. i have a 1975 highboy. cut to swb, 4w disc, 351, 5sp, lockers.

Thanks Tyler, and some still think cheap is best. This is one of the reasons "Brand Name" gear isn't at eBay prices. Love your honesty. Great report.
Awesome video mate, cheers! If your 4WD is engineered, can you add another 2' life and 7% bigger tyres? hehehe
Thank you for sharing this story!
My "Highlux" (nick name) is fitted with the Superior Engineering 4" lift kit. (Already fitted when I bought it.)
This kit doesn't change any of the suspension angles etc from standard but does change the chassis height.
A Qld mod plate is only relevant to Qld rego so if you engineer a car in another state and then transfer rego it means jack all
In order for it to have been re-registered in NSW, would it have not passed without the relevant engineering required?
This is why I'm going to check if its been done or not. To much confusion!
Well done. Well produced and definitely very interesting. Thanks for the very valuable information. 👍
Thanks for putting this video up and appreciate the content. Well done Tyler.
Thank you for your information far more easy explained information and details then other channels great content
Unfortunately there was a convoy of NSW modified 4x4s on 35s that got done by vic pol over easter in the HC. I know I was down there sweating it out on my 35s with my eng cert. And the td42s will get thru easy with a set if ebc yellowstuff and new rotors.
Should have nsw eng cert'd so while they say your good in any state you'll still have pucker moments with the wrong cop.
Humble and informative, loved the video mate, and respect to you for the bloopers you left in💪
Engineering gone up a bit I had my old r31 skyline Engineered cost $1100. Started its life as a NA auto rb30. It ended up with rb25det engine, rb25 box, spooled diff, big turbo, coilover suspension, big exhaust and more

Mate, your certainly not the only one to drive without and engineering cert! There are a lot of very dangerous looking 4x4s on the road!
I have genuine tb48 brake pads on my 3L GU stops pretty good
fantastic content, explained in a very easy to understand way. thanks Tyler. Keep these videos coming..
That is a first...Never seen a UA-cam channel investing a dedicated video clearing such kind of stuff for audience...Good on you mate.
It’s great that you gave an honest and straight forward video on your experience with the defect and the process that you went through. Good video 👍🏼😎
Yeah a lot of people over here are fairly frustrated with how it all works! Thanks for watching mate
i saw you in bomaderry! i was in my 4.8 actually you were at garbutts i was gonna stop in but i was working

Great video as always Tyler. I have learnt so much from this, thank you so much.
Hi Tyler, A well presented video with interesting information. Nice job!
Nice to live in a reasonable estate.. Victoria is a nightmare and you can't engineer larger tyres and lift here.

It no longer does that I've attached the video where they've changed it to perform better and I have a 2021 so it's not an issue, but thanks for your concern. Enjoy fueling that pig up 😉
What a thorough process the Engineer did. Good video.
Great vid 👍This is the information that will help many Tyler, hopefully you didn't get stung with a big bill.

i wanna get my billie holder engineered (upgrading from single chamber to duel chamber)
G'day Tyler, thanks for the ep.Very interesting! will have to check NT reg's.Thanks mate.👍😎
Excellent video. I'm with the other's on why I follow your channel. Excellent reviews and you just say it as it is. Keep up the great work.
Much appreciated!
Cheers Mate
Nice one Tyler not enough people talking about this on youtube
What about the beadlock wheels, r they engineered
My colorado RG came stock with 245/70/16 but some other models come with 265s with the same chassis, GVM etc. I'm wondering if 265 would be considered the largest diameter tyre for my model, or 245?
Not 100% sure but probably the 265
Good info. However I'll stick with 2" and 33's, twin lockers on my GU.
after this poped up in my recommends again i had another though re-watching this the spedo test my rig is a 1998 75 cruiser it has a mechanical speedo 1- the little gear sets to adjust the speedo have not been sold for over a decade so i have no way to correct it 2- its a 1998 car the current law about speedo accuracy came in 2006 when my rig was made it could be +- 10 km/h does the engineer take into account my speedo was never made for accuracy and exempts it?
Landcruisers are around the 560-600kg mark which is next to nothing on the greater scheme of things for such a large vehicle.

well done TT i’m in the same predicament ATM love the vids keep up the good honest work…
Do you need brand new tires for the test? Also what happens if it starts raining half way through the test. Push it back to a later date?
You don't need new tyres for the test, just have to be road worthy and not sure what happens if it starts raining to be honest
Very straightforward vid on the modification and engineering process in NSW that otherwise honestly seems to be a bit of dark art. Cheers for demystifying everything somewhat! 🍻
Hey mate I got some 315/75/16s put on my landcruiser today If I get them engineered would I unusually still be insured if I got into an accident?
Did you have any issues with it passing with no front mud flaps?
Great video mate I love all the info 👍🏻
Thanks mate, na front mud flaps were never mentioned
Nope no minimum for them only the rear. The rear can also be at the rear of the car also. Is a angle from tyre to rear. The further back the short it need to be
Thanks Tyler, good to see this info as I plan to drive through NSW soon. As I understand it, in Vic its 50mm overall with a tolerance of +/- 25mm. That means the 4x4 can measure up to 75mm from manufacture ride height without enforcing an engineer certificate. (I'm 50mm suspension and 32.7 tyres)
Informing your insurance company is the big one down here, they can (and will) knock back your claim if you haven't informed them of your mods.
Great job👍 what about the beadlocks and mud flaps.
The certification is done without bead locks. So it’s a straight up red label now anyway 🤷♂️
@@operation4wheelz That was sort of my understanding. If you change or modify anything after the cert is done it voids it. Also that Bead Locks not being approved in its self Ive understood to be defect.
@@OnCountryWithMick correct… big red label.

Haven't been pulled over since getting it engineered mate
Yeah fair enough, noticed that you were down here (south coast) they are usually right onto modified 4bys!
@Mr VZ hi , the tic plate is the previous system, there is a new system now in nsw, from 2011.

Patrols are dangerous stock standard with the 80km/h handshakes and the spontaneous combustion when the wires on the firewall rub through and set the engine bay on fire. Superior Engineering suspension and wrapping the wiring harness properly are 2 good things to do asap.
