Wondering if you can help: Red etap AXS from a few years ago. Previously had all paired and worked fine. I assume multiple app updates and not riding and components are no longer showing. Trying to re-add them, but only the Quarq PM shows. All components work/shift/etc, just can't get them to show in the app to add to the bike profile. Re-pairing starting from RD shows response with each addition. Then back to app to add, nothing shows up. Pulling my hair out!
Great video and thanks for putting this out! Just curious, can we charge our AXS batteries before they have gone dead or will they develop a memory? Not sure if they are nicad batteries or not?
You can charge them whenever you want, no worries. These batteries are pretty robust in our experience.

Hi! This app connect with all sram groupsets? I have a Sram Etap 2018 but wouldn´t be able to connect with the AXS App.
It works fine and it easily connects with my garmin 520.
Any tips?

Hey there! This app is only designed to work with SRAM's AXS gear, and not SRAM eTap 11 speed gear. Wish it was different!
My FD is showing up the master and I am not recognizing the RD?
Hi, just a stupid question, do you have to have the internet always on to work with the app or afterwards downloading you only use Bluetooth to work with the componentes?!
It should be able to work without internet, though you will need an internet connection to download firmware updates or the like.

Any suggestions when the app recognizes none of my components. I have the powermeter and AXS red groupset. I just get a spinning dial that says searching for components despite me pressing the buttons on each of those components multiple times.
check your bluetooth settings on your phone, and check to see that the pairing process has started on the derailleurs themselves. It is tough to say without having in front of us but that is my first thought.
If you have an iPhone, go into settings and find SRAM AXS. Then open it and enable SRAM AXS app to access Bluetooth. I had the same problem and this fixed it for me.

Hi, I recently tried to do a update with my sram rival rear derailleur and it failed. now this wouldn't be a problem since i have the app already set up, but I lost the bluetooth connection between my bike's groupset and the SRAM app. So now the rear derailleur is just flashing a yellow light and not shifting when I put the battery in.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Unfortunately, your best bet would be to take your bike to your local shop. Electronic diagnoses can be a bit of trial and error, so a shop that has multiple batteries, other derailleurs, and the ability to pair it with other shifters would improve the chance of fixing it.

No, you would need some form of head unit like a Garmin/Wahoo.

Using the app, are you able to program the AXS 12 speed to only shift 10 or 11 speed?
I don't have a 12 speed wheel setup up yet & wondering if it's possible to program E-tap to 10 or 11 speed until I get 12 speed wheel.
No can do there. 11 speed SRAM eTap and 12 speed SRAM is not compatible. And while you *might* be able to make 12 speed shift 11, it won't be perfect.
While my sram red etap device is paired with garmin 1030 plus without any problems, it does not pair with sram axs app on my iphone 12 pro max. I tried many times, it definitely did not match the phone app as described in the video.
Your drivetrain must be the eTap AXS 12 speed group to pair with the AXS app. If it is 11 speed eTap it will not pair. Thanks!

Hi Silvio! Our recommendation would be to make sure your AXS app is updated to the most recent version before trying to update the derailleur firmware. If that doesn't work, we'd recommend contacting SRAM support directly. Best of luck!
I opened my app, created a new bike thing and when i want to connect my sram it doesn t show on the app
I just want to log-in the app, but is not working. Who can help me ? Is ther a need to register somewhere ? If, Where ?
You log in through the app. Registration is done there as well, from the app.

Hi, after doing SRAM-Rival-FD update firmware to 2.32.0, and as per software is was successful. However, my SRAM FD can't be pair and and cant recognize anymore and the apps is keeps on saying that FD needs recovery firmware but when done, still the same thing happens. Appreciate any help or recommendation that I need to do to resolve this? thanks
First thought is to leave the derailleur without the battery for a hard(ish) reset. Next thought would be to try and repair all the derailleurs and shifters together manually using the buttons on each component, starting at the rear derailleur. If that doesn't work I would reach out to your local bike shop for some SRAM troubleshooting or send an email to apps@SRAM.com
