Great idea but I doubt Sunreef would have time/capacity for my build as from what I know they are flat out which is great for them. Thanks for the comment and support 🙏
🤣 yip it's different horses for different courses. In my humble opinion Sunreef, in terms of finishes, are unmatched in the sailing catamaran game... BUT.. they don't focus on the weight and how I understand things for every 1ft of boat it is 1 ton so my 55ft would be +- 55 tons. I was looking at a Sunreef seriously as they are beautiful but when I realised I'd be motoring often changed my search.
Epic... they really are BEAUTIFUL ! Actually for the fit out / colour options I'm going for are based on the style/look of a Sunreef 60 that I spotted in Sardinia a few weeks back.
Gidday Clint - great video - love how you are joining the dots for opportunities - following with interest as we are about a year behind you. you're travelling a lot - going to the Annapolis boat show?
Hey Annie-May. Thanks so much for the comment and great to hear that you are finding the content beneficial as that's my main intent. Yip, travelling a bunch and in Bangkok now off to see 3 more, hopefully, boat yards here over the next 2 weeks. I am 50/50 with Annapolis right now... spoke to David about it last last week and he suggested I go. Are you heading there ? Thanks again Clint
@@sailing.destiny giddy Clint - sorry for taking so long to get back to you. just got back from 3 weeks in China. we are going to be there for the first couple of days
Another yard who could reach out to finish the interior would be Sunreef. Just an idea…

@@sailing.destiny we have a Sunreef 50 and it weighs 33-tons wet about 35 tons fully fully loaded. The gross tonnage is 52 or something like that.

Hi Clint< I'm embarking on the same endeavour as you are undertaking. I'm probably 6 -9 months behind. So thanks for your information.
Awesome to hear and that's my main intention of this channel to help others who want to go down this path...
