Awesome! This is some seriously cool stuff! It's a bummer that I wasn't born earlier to experience Metallica during their Justice tour, because they surely were at the top of their game live (as they were during the Black Album tour) and I still think both AJFA and the Black Album are just as good as the preivous three albums! 🤘🏻

I was at the St. louis Mo. Kiel Auditorium show on this tour! It was my first concert and wow what an impact it had on me! I left this concert and played my guitar everyday for 2 years straight learning every song and solo I could by them. Left a huge impression on me and I will never forget it. I was only 15 years old and my friends mom had to haul us over there.

It’s funny, because in the messengers book, they kept saying that James got his first ESP MX 220 in 1987, but you never see it show up until roughly 1989. Looks like all in 1988. He was still using his two Gibson Explorers.
And Justice for all is my favorite Metallica album
You did play Alpine Valley in East Troy, Wisconsin for the 03 Ozzfest. I was there! It was my first exposure to Chimaira! I still remember how crushing your set was for the 15 minutes you played. lol.

wonderful memorabilia, when I saw you guys at the El 'n' Gee in New London, CT maybe in 2001 or 2002? the stage was like right infront of me because it was a half bar, I leaned over and saw your set list on a piece of paper, I should of grabbed it when you guys finished! It was the show with 36 Crazyfist, God Forbid and a local band, A Thousand Fallen Skies. I was new to concerts and when God Forbid came out, I thought it was the roadies or something bringing out the equipment and getting it tuned for you. Then they started to play and blew me away LOL

When you asked about what basses Jason was using and then panned to the first pic, that is his Wal bass which is VERY expensive. Like, Wal currently has a four year waiting list for production.

September 28th Newport Wales Centre. Was my first time seeing Metallica and the only memory that I have is. I was pretty drunk.
🤣🍻 I have a similar story seeing Snoop Dogg... I remember arriving at the concert, and then the next thing I knew, I was waking up the next day. Zero memory of the show.🤣

Yep- we were playing in Houston, TX I think it was, and Snoop was playing down the street. So a few of us walked over after our show. They were serving Gin & Juice, and that's the last thing I remember!🤣@@619dar

Really shows the cult of Metallica doesn't it, people will buy dozens of pics with very very slight variations just because. Clever slick marketing basically as you would for 'new kids on the block'. Thankfully at the same time to counter this pretentious crap there was the underground with bands like Blasphemy and Morbid Angel
