In this episode of Restore It, I partly restore the front valance. I repair the front and rear bumpers in preparation for the painters. I repair the rear inner fibreglass bumper as well as the bumper trims and brackets for the bumper shocks. I also introduce a fantastic new piece of equipment for the workshop!

It’s always a myriad of little things that need to be done in the project in order to bring it to completion. There’s always so many things to do 😂 nice video 🥰❤️

So true... And they add up to a monumental task... Thanks as always, tinman!

With fiber glass is better to shred the sides of the pieces that you put on. The fiberglass strands promotes better adhesion and hide the seams between the layers in comparison to clean cuts.

I do have one, its that grey box next to the cabient. The valance was way too big to fit in without the side door being open, which is why the extractor couldn't do it job. Cheers!

When I have items too large to close the door on my sandblaster, I wrap the door / item with a sheet of HD plastic sheet & tape it to the sandblaster to preserve the vacuum extraction...

I put a few large sheets over the side door, but it wasn't a great seal... I'll give plastic sheet and tape a go next time i blast something that large! Cheers!

Do you only work weekends on your projects or is it a full time gig?

Good vid as always. I dont think that the bumper spray for the moldings was the correct call, from factory they are flat. Maybe once on the car it will look fine.

Thanks, dude. And funny you should say that... I'm thinking of re-doing them for that exact reason... They didn't really come out as planned. Cheers!

Thanks, Albert! I know where you're coming from, but compared to the paint I was using for parts like those brackets, powder is 1000x stronger and better for the job imo. Cheers!

What happens to the vehicle if cash is chosen? Do you keep it?

I will still be selling it as I need the space. I think it will be worth around 10k when finished, maybe more.
