Love the campaign and I'm sorry if its not making the numbers you want. I wish you would not end it but I understand if you have to, either way I will continue to see what you all put out.
I think the title is a reference to A hard days night - the 1967 musical comedy starring the beatles. We all remember how disappointed John Lennon the cleric was when Ringo came back as a bard instead of a tank
Since Syd has Bon Mot, she should use it as her first action since most of her spells seem to be will saves and will be less likely to be duds if she orders it that way. Also, if she demoralizes first as an action, shell lower AC and land biting words more often. Cool spell but the feeling sucks when it doesnt land the first time to get the ongoing effect.
ME TOO!! I was just grabbing it off of PlayStation last weekend, telling my GF how much I love the game and it was my first forever life game I’d played. 😂❤
I don't want to feel like this is at all a pile-on, a negative comment, or anything of the sort. But this episode and the last have been a huge return to form for me. I love it when the party has feel good vibes, is laid back, and is just having a great time with each other. Over the course of the series, this has not always felt like the case - mainly because things have been so intense and the stakes have been so high. I hope that the next Adventure or AP is a little more laid back and like these last couple of episodes, hopefully that will help stave off any player (or GM!) burnout. Keep up the great work GCP! I'm sure whatever you decide moving forward will be the best for the channel/series!
May I start a petition to just tweak the show instead of replacing it? I'm sure we'll love everything you guys will put out in the future, but I'm not sure if I can live in a world without Father 😅
Side-note on matters sartorial: Kate and Syd look *amazing* this ep, while the fellas are dressed, per usual, in their "overslept after getting hammered at a frat-party" duds. The boys gotta step up their game!!
@mariovarga2892 I'd say his collared shirt is definitely better than the fleece mafia, but not nearly up to the bar Kate & Syd set. Classic fashion-jawn tweener.
I'm glad the crew was able to talk Troy down from trying to suffocate himself with one of those inflatable lawn Santas now that it's Dec 26th, and do the show.
Door shenanigans is something that is very silly, but also quite powerful in PF2e... That's why with my Champion I always destroy them to smithereens, to avoid sneaky enemies from abusing it.
This show is good. It’s free, fantastically produced and wonderfully entertaining. A bunch of dorks on the internet complain about how it’s played, composition, nerd points (er something) whatever. It is good. Please continue to make stuff like this. It is incredibly good. Just fuckin look at it. If you were playing anything else that wasn’t MATH WITH FRIENDS 2e, you wouldn’t have dorks interjecting with “how to play” bullshit opinions.
Correct. "The Naish" includes so many entitled man-babies that think they can dictate fun to the team despite having created nothing of value in their lives. The subreddit is a toxic circlejerk best avoided. I wish Troy would just ignore them all and do what he wants.
I am enjoying this campaign but I think one of the problems for the viewer in this AP is we don't know who to hate there seems to be no big bads, even the PC deaths were just some wild creatures
It was a fort they had to fight through full of ogres and such. The end of it kicked off the next part of the campaign, and there was a building in the middle they never went in
Sydney's character cast multiple spells, which one are you referring to? Fear, Biting Words, and Cutting Insult are all 2e spells. Cutting Insult is an uncommon spell from the Firebrands book, so that might be what you aren't familiar with. Sydney also used Unexpected Shift, which is a Gnome Ancestry Feat.
@@Jackson79136 Thanks. It was the first one that gave fear on a successful save. I see now, thanks to your help, it is Cutting Insult. I'm not used to using uncommon spells.
I dont think Syd can have access to that first spell she used. Cutting Insult is campaign specific to Firebrands because it requires you to be a second mark member of the firebrands. Blood Vendetta would be a fun and useful replacement if she did have to change it out.
Access is a bit of a weird thing in 2e. Cutting Insults is an uncommon spell, so if your GM runs their game such that anything uncommon you need special access to use, then it wouldn't be a valid option unless you meet the access requirements (being a second mark of the firebrands). Barring that restriction, meeting an access requirement isn't necessary to take a feat/spell/etc., it just explicitly allows it even if you normally only have access to common options. In most games I've played and ran, Uncommon is rarely a problem and only rare stuff gets shot down. Incidentally, both of Sydney's previous characters for this campaign, used similarly restricted options, namely, their weapons, both Lucky's Khopesh and Wakizashi as well as Asta's Katana are uncommon weapons.
Unbelievable!!! Matthew rolled rocks and turned my fan fumble into a fan critical. He was blessed by Norse Foundry.
No-one cares your crit got pulled 🤣
Those dice rolls for Matthew off of a Nat 1 for that fan fumble into the peak rolls for a fan crit is absolutely wonderful!
I think this is the most we've seen of Kate's tattoos and they're freaking awesome.

The announcement that GW is ending has led me to buy the AP just so I can have the rest of the story.
@@alltradesjack502 I might do that as well.

Hubert is Yoko Ono in this scenario, I presume.
So. THIS . . . is Christmas.
RIGHT IN THE 'TWEENER!!!
'Choppin' broccoli" is a cut deeeep into late 80's SNL...
As a brit, it literally never occured to me that other countries' christmas doesnt include boxing day, my mind is blown
Tom O'Brien Fan critical fumble the most useful any O'Brien has ever been in this campaign.

I'm gunna miss gatewalkers but honestly this cast could just banter for an hour and I'd listen, so I'm sure whatever is next will be great!
I would legit listen to a banter podcast.
I think at 34:14 Skid was gonna point out that Raul Julias last movie was actually street fighter lol
I am *kicking* myself for not realizing Buggles was an Abe's Odyssey reference

I was wondering if you have session to air tomorrow. Glad you are its like a birthday present :)
Seems like the new synergy works great
Great episode! I love bards. Yes, fhey are kinda rediculous ut that is half the fun!
4:47, Syd's name still says Asta below it.
33:34 Please Hammer, don't hurt 'em!
Please, please, please do your Courageous Anthem! Group bonuses to damage are very hard to find.
Sticks and stones may break his bones but songs will never hurt him 😂

16:54 for Highbury!
Can imagine Troy wrapping in paper and then Cling-Wrap.

Get celestial seasonings to sponsor this dreamtime tea episode
FYI Boxing Day was the servants' day off.
The Norse Foundry discount code wasn't working, said it was an invalid code :(
Hm I tried the Norse Foundry discount code to no avail.
Do you have the Honey browser extension? It's known to block some codes.

How did the 2 episodes after the cancelation announcement end up being among the best of the campaign
All the doors they come across in the future are going to be either shattered or mimics.
'Abe's Odyssey' is great :)
@troy they just closed the chicken connection 😭🐔🤤
What a silence from Troy!
You would go and get the boxes from the Liquor store

It is definitely the best produced actual play. Somehow steel feels very authentic, too.

My only req for the next campaign. 20-30% less out of nowhere combat. I think this is a particular issue with the AP.
UNO Mavericks, baby!!
Omaha REPRESENT!!
Sad to see GW end, but please keep the intro music!
Would it be funny, if Joe plays a Bard next campaign
👏👏👏
Sydney was the MVP of that fight, God damn that was good.
I LOVED abe's odyssey as a kid, but it's been a long time so I'm not too surprised I didn't guess it 😆
I know I played all those games when I was a kid, but I swear when I look it up it looks totally different than what I remembered
Syd was born to be a bard
I can't believe she hasn't played one before

So this is the final episode of this campaign?
Nope. We don't have an end date yet. When we know we will for sure announce it.

What was the spell Sydney's character cast? Where did she get it from? It is not one that I know of. Is it an AP spell?

Does Joe feel compelled to shit on Sidneys every character? In character banter is one thing. This is another.
I recommend "Midnight Oil". Go Auz!
