After splitting up with your friends to cover more ground, you're wandering the halls of a long abandoned mansion on Titan alone when you stumble upon the study. The gentle 'swish-swish' of the portly caretaker's broom can be heard in the distance as you enter. On a desk and under a fancy lamp's light, you find a bloodstained letter. What is this? It's from your benefactor, Mister Quest. How could this be? He should be back on Earth! When you open it, it reads, "Don't be alone. The butler did it". A chill runs up your spine, why didn't anyone think it was weird for an abandoned mansion to have a butler? You step back and a loud fart startles you. Luckily, it was just a whoopie cushion. As you turn towards the door, you see the outline of a portly figure. What is that in his hands? Is that... a knife? Has the butler come to clean *You* up? Or are you on a MysteryQuest?
No waaaaaaaaaay! I frigging adore Pratchett's work, and the Discworld series is the greatest. Also I love that in the first ten minutes Vimes went from Commander, to 'Sarge', to Captain. Wizards did it!
A Hogswatch miracle! Thank you for this gift! Was just yesterday discussing with a friend how many Discworld screen adaptions (understandably) adapt the _plot_ of various Discworld novels, but completely lose the core things that we personally find enchanting about Pratchett's work... but I feel like Modiphius has expended a huge amount of effort to capture the delight of reading Sir Terry's writing; not just the story beats. And I trust you guys to do it justice, too 💛

As Many discworld things brought themselves to life in Sir Pterry's own games at his tables, to see his legacy continued in a Mystery Quest is beautiful. Love this setting, I never knew there was a discworld rpg! I'm also glad the mystery quest intros are back, I almost screamed when I clicked the video, I'll be excited to see if they end up being a 1 a series thing as a compromise or if they go back to one an episode

the best just the absolute best! Keep the exposure and different systems coming! How about some Kids on Bikes or some Tales from the Loop? And the new KS Mothership Modules would be awesome! It would be cool to see some MCDM Draw Steel!! All of Your tempo, approach to player autonomy and collaborative skills are fire! and post production is legend tier. Thanks so much for everything you all do!
I backed this game on Kickstarter and this is proof that I haven’t wasted my money and the end product captures the spirit of Discworld pretty faithfully
I really like the short games and change in ruleset. The cast changes don't hurt either. Always a nice fit to whatever adventure is afoot. The only constant is Lydia trying out her tiny register of accents (And I always love it).
We are never going to escape from that behavour.... So many of my brothers and sisters, carried around like matches. And... and we keep doing it, give us things to light!
It is so wonderful Tom that you manage to create great episodes and have different systems and settings the the same time! I’m honestly amazed by that, not just doing ”alien or Cathulu” scenarios but doing all kinds! Very versatile:) Amazing players as well, like always. Lots of love, great work!!
Great band of misfits the watch has wrangled here. Breaking rooves with their introductory montage, threatening lethal force against children, distinctly questionable competence. Crazily realistic, honestly! Great episode. It's very funny so far, and as always, I can't wait for the rest!
