Great to catch up with Ben. Can't wait to see his new builds.
I found myself in Virginia this week, but about two hours from your neck of the woods. Too bad, I’ve been a fan for a while and it would be cool to buy a guitar from you!
Hi Jeremy! Hope your guitar isn't cracked. Wanted to thank you BTW. I bought a Ovation today when browsing and I saw it and instantly fell in love with it and when they asked me where I heard about Sweetwater I told them your name! Had two Ovations in the 80s, so lookin' forward to this and the quick and easy string change out!
The sound hole inlay on the Padgett is both beautiful and original.
Do a full review on the Padgett, I’d love to hear it, please please
Working on it!
Love your travel vloggy videos!
Always love your videos!
Crazy! I have that dark SB DS custom that was on the wall. The grain on that Brazilian bridge is exactly my guitar. Very cool!
That Huss & Dalton sounds HUGE
That wharf and memorial look familiar. In 2005 myself and a couple of childhood friends drove a late ‘80s Escort around Virginia, Maryland, DC, Pennsylvania, NJ and NY for a month or so. The car belonged to my mate’s cousin who lives in Fairfax. It was awesome for us three English blokes who’d just graduated from University.
Briggs farm festival in nescopeck, Pennsylvania... Check it out. Let me know, my close friend has a 600 acre campground 10 minutes away with nice Amish built cabins. Just a option, think it's July 7-12.
My current ‘obsession’ is old Japanese classical guitars. There’s a squillion old Yamaha’s lying around neglected and some sound beautiful.
Do you pluck the nylon strings in the quiet times?
They are not good, but to each his own
"To each his own." Strange thing for a socialist to say.
Hi Jeremey, really enjoy your channel. You know when you say go fill the world with music and friendship. You should have Tee shirts and other items with that saying on them, I bet that would sell. Hell I’d buy it. Thanks friend.
Bens guitars really do look and sound awesome. Great work Ben!
Your the MAN!
I have been to Staunton, barely. We have friends that live around there. Outside of Staunton proper, but we have been there to visit. Need to get back up there again
The high E string on my TD-R rolls off the side of the neck with the slightest movement. I'm not the original owner, so I guess I'll have to go to a local luthier?
I liked the license plate cover!! Nice touch!
I am flying into Charlottesville tonight. I have never been to your neck of the woods so this will be an experience I'm sure. Did you get info on adjusting the truss rod. I'm still to chicken to adjust a truss rod.
Jeremey, thank you for another great video! A word of caution though..
Please don't leave your guitars in a vehicle in the heat of July. Better yet, don't leave them in a car, unattended, at all. Regardless of how nice a town is, there are thieves everywhere. At the very least, cover them with a blanket or something. Heat and cold are not an acoustic guitar's friend.
Jeremy, sorry for misspelling your name. :)
@OLX kidstaff A good friend of mine had his guitar stolen from his car. My brother broke down, many years ago, and had his blackface Super Reverb and Mosrite guitar stolen before he got back to the car. -Just passing on some info.
I'm not an Eskimo but I am an S. Comeau lol.....
Huss and Dalton are the best
I really really want to see those new L-00 style guitars he made. Super excited for those Ben! Also can anyone answer me this? Has anyone ever heard or tried to make a Hog top with maple back and sides ever? If not why? I'm curious to hear what one would sound like. Just a thought.
I played a cedar top with maple back and sides today and it blew my mind. It was made by Gallagher.
@@JeremySheppard I'm guessing in a good way haha So different than anything you have ever heard before? I never even thought about Cedar top either. That's interesting too!
Did they adjust the truss rod?
Beard has always been impressive but seems like it’s next level as of late
Hahah, it's become unruly.
13:02 - two mins left. Does a hidden track come on? 🤪
Haha, whoops. I must have set an end to point in premiere in the edit. I'll fix it shortly, thanks for catching that!
I bought a mandolin from a dude that lived up on a hill by Mary Baldwin… beautiful home, area, views, scenery, etc. I’d be okay being an old fart living around there.
🤢
Shoulda bought a Boucher
Haha. I just might. That'll show em. 😂
California! Hahahaha. Stupidly covers it like the dew covers the south😬
Ultimately…. This did have a crack…. But due to FedEx being a butt.
He said it's not a crack. He's also built almost 5,000 of these.
