Their "meh content" is exactly what people want to see, the same way they watch reality tv and marvel movies. Entertainment is not and never has been a meritocracy.

"Social battery" is a term asocial introverts use to explain to others why socializing is a draining process for them because many do not instinctively understand how someone can dislike being around others. Hasan's not wrong when he says streaming for long periods of time is socially draining, but it was a very tone-deaf thing to do to compare it to other jobs because being an influencer is one of the most privileged jobs one can have. Sure some jobs might not be socially draining, but people in those jobs would take the social draining to get rid of a ton of other problems they have. Also, streaming has so many boundaries between you and the audience that it's one of the least social socializing activities.
Asmongold only came to Hassan's defence because they are both "talent" at Night Talent Agency, and are both used by Night, inc to be "influencers" of the youth. People should look into the people that run it. Lots of tiny hats involved.
Back when chenks nephew was The Brofesor teaching us how to get college girls drunk and take advantage of them i was busy not being a scum bag and working in a factory.
I worked on a customer service team years ago and my job was essentially getting older people to program their TVs to pick up the signals from satellite and microwave TV. This could include going through wiring from scratch and sorting out the TVs when they didn't even have a manual for it. This was in the days before audio and video inputs were a big thing. If only I could have been helping people with the difficult job of resetting a password.
It's never been about the money. It's always been about his Ego. He was born rich and wants to stream to have a social reach for his faux social status.
Probably depends on his contract. I know some streamers have moved platforms to get fewer required streaming hours per month so they could do things outside of streaming.
What I wouldn't give to have most of these whiny streamers trade jobs for a day with a garbage man or something that requires physical labor just awake them up to reality
That would instantly expose each and every single one of them. You'd see them struggle just on the first stop! By the second or third they'd be sobbing, begging for it to end so they can go back to making millions doing nothing.
11:43 you're absolutely correct. A few years back I streamed on twitch, and at the end of a 7-hour stream I had the most viewers I'd ever had. 19 And those 19 viewers put me in the top 1% of twitch at that time. Most people on twitch stream to nobody. If you have 400 regular viewers on twitch, you are killing the game.
One of my boys started blowing up big, averaged 200+ viewers a stream at 4x a week, was well on the road to partnership and just fell off the face of the map for like 6 months, said he got burned tf out
It’s funny to think that the guy who spends so much time playing other people’s videos and walking away is gonna tell us that streaming is much harder that any normal job that people experience
Never seen your videos before but this made me a huge fan. Your sarcasm was the perfect nutrients my soul needed after it was sucked out from doing my non streaming job... wait. That doesnt make sense. Streamers are the only ones with a hard job.
As an introvert I will defend the idea of "social battery". In few previous jobs of mine I used to lock myself in an empty room during break because I had enough of social interactions. That said I doubt that Hasan has any idea how being drained from socialising really feels like.
As a mortuary student pursuing embalming, I was quite literally about to make a comment about how tone deaf Hasan’s statement of how “a real job doesn’t suck the soul out of you” until you mentioned those of us in death care, so thank you. Alcoholism/drug addiction and burnout are fairly common in the death industry because of how stressful it can be.
Its interesting how these people think working a job where you sit infront of a computer talking to "chat" while watching youtube or helping old people reset their passwords is more difficult than the job where you're swinging a sledgehammer in the Texas heat for 12 hours a day while your boss is yelling at you calling you a stupid motherfer for needing to take a break to drink some water.

can confirm from personal experience, you do need to be bullied even a little bit to grow into a well adjusted human being at least if not a proper man.
I think this a bigger self report than people are making it out to be. I can believe his soul feels drained at the end of the day, but not from streaming. The constant twisting of words, dishonesty, and hatred for his fellow man must be exhausting.
He's admitted to being a propagandist. I bet if you had him for a few hours under a heat lamp, he would admit it's all a grift.
@@stillcantbesilencedevennowhe'd crack in minutes. He's a coward.
@@AllofJudea Absolutely. He only acts so hostile and disingenuous because he's behind a screen and has an exorbitant amount of wealth (since money is power). If done right I don't even think he'd last 30 seconds.
Not that I'd be much better, but I'm nothing like him in terms of attitude and morals.
Hatred for his fellow men is true
Oh boy should be fun talking about the epitome of champagne socialist...
For some reason the only champagne I can imagine this forever-wilting, eternally soy manchild consuming is a bottle that’s already been filtered through the human digestive system, strained through urine-soaked cheesecloth, then repackaged into the bottle with the cork duct taped back in.
Hasan and other guy named Second Thought are big examples of Champagne socialist the Second Though guy is even worse because he like to enjoy like one of the most capitalist thing ever, driving super cars.
Whining over that kind of job just confirms how well-off he is, while the average working man would prefer that than anything else
That clip of Sam Hyde doing his Candyman bit was gold; I wish we got to see Hyde vs Hassan.
In their cognitive dissonance, these types don’t even see that when they say “real job”, that implies that their job is in fact not a real job. 🤦🏼♂️
Hahahah. Amazing point.
My real job is honest work. I don’t have to hate myself for a real job. Like clearly many super rich complainers do constantly.
@@n8_b_hsame here. I work in a multimedia private office, 9 to 5 shift.

It's a real job, an honest one, and it can still feel draining because I don't get enough time for my own passion projects (art and animation). But I can at least take pride in knowing I actually have skills that can come in handy to someone better than Hasan

I thought working in Barstow climbing telephone poles, where it stays 120°f half the year, was tough. I can't imagine sitting in an AC'ed room in my pajamas, having my mother bring me food all day. It must be 1,000x worse.
The worst part is not only does he get to do that but he makes more than most people ever will working real honest jobs

I gotta thank you for this video, Gundam! It was because of this that I discovered Aba n Preach because despite that being the type of content that's right up my alley, UA-cam's algorithm has never once recommended them to me ever and I simply didn't know who they were before and if left up to youtube's recommendations, I would never find anyone actually entertaining, so thanks!

Hasan and DSP are so out of touch with reality that they both think that streaming is the hardest job in the world.
Hasan is the low testosterone version of DSP
Atleast dsp struggels to get paid.
DSP struggles with life in general. It’s a miracle the man ever got married.

@@KindredEmotions I think it's a miracle he is even breathing, to be quite honest.
I worked at a call center once upon a time. When I tell you it was one of the most exhausting jobs I've ever had! Socially draining. When I got off I don't think I said a word out loud until I got back to work the next day.
I remember that one story of Asmongold wiping the gum blood on his fingers on his walls, how he has a corner in his room where there's just traces of old blood from his gums.
Take away the algorithms and go strictly subscriber based and chronological uploads; guys like Hasan, destiny and other meh content creators wouldnt make a fraction of the money they do now.
You can't even be a conservative streamer on twitch. Theyll ban you for saying men can't be women
‘Algorithms’. Manipulation for social control. ;)
underrated point
Nonsense argument...
Destiny made a living from this long before anyone was talking about "the algorithms", and Hasan got pushed to the top by his uncle...
Their "meh content" is exactly what people want to see, the same way they watch reality tv and marvel movies.
Entertainment is not and never has been a meritocracy.
@@Jafar545 Their numbers are likely bots.
Wouldn’t be interesting that since Hasan’s parents are Turkish, that means he must have an ancestor that worked “deporting” Armenians between 1915 and 1918? Wouldn’t that be something?
Don't ask Cenk or Cenk's nephew what they think about the Armenian genocide.
Well, his uncle Cenk IS a "Young Turk" afterall lol
Why do you think his uncle runs a media organization called The Young Turks? 🧐
They still deny that. You can deny THAT one, but the ridiculous one with the masturbation machines, that one you can't question. Weird huh

Someone who makes DSP tolerable... That's not something I thought I was going to say!
Hasan makes DSP look like Lou Ferrigno. The Act Ma’am is the Low T version of DSP.
This is the same as AOC wearing that "Tax the Rich" dress
Asmongold only came to Hassan's defence because they are both "talent" at Night Talent Agency, and are both used by Night, inc to be "influencers" of the youth. People should look into the people that run it. Lots of tiny hats involved.

Dude makes so much money I'm sure he can afford to cut back on streaming nobody forces him to stream nine hours
It's never been about the money. It's always been about his Ego. He was born rich and wants to stream to have a social reach for his faux social status.
I don't doubt it
Probably depends on his contract. I know some streamers have moved platforms to get fewer required streaming hours per month so they could do things outside of streaming.
The term champagne socialist is perfect for people like him.
Is your problem with the champagne part, or with the socialist part?
As someone who works 60 hours a week in a warehouse im glad Hasan is standing up for the working man!! ❤❤💯💯
Streaming is so hard. I want Hasan Piker to work a lunch line.
Hasan should have to spend a growing season working on a farm.
11:43 you're absolutely correct. A few years back I streamed on twitch, and at the end of a 7-hour stream I had the most viewers I'd ever had.
19
And those 19 viewers put me in the top 1% of twitch at that time. Most people on twitch stream to nobody.
If you have 400 regular viewers on twitch, you are killing the game.
One of my boys started blowing up big, averaged 200+ viewers a stream at 4x a week, was well on the road to partnership and just fell off the face of the map for like 6 months, said he got burned tf out
My max so far is 10 viewers

As an introvert I will defend the idea of "social battery". In few previous jobs of mine I used to lock myself in an empty room during break because I had enough of social interactions. That said I doubt that Hasan has any idea how being drained from socialising really feels like.
