This house has ME written all over it. Omg !!!! , such a cute, cozy little home. I love everything about this place. Especially the porches and the absolute comfort of the interior. Beautiful outside design too. WOW.
Caution: Narrow doors and hallways are inaccessible. We built our house with 36” minimum openings / passageways throughout. We did this when 25. At 50 my husband had a stroke and we only needed to add some bars around toilet and walk-in shower for him to come home. Something to consider.
Very, very important. Many people NEED a walker past 80-85, often even earlier. My home is a tract home, b. 1989; the doorways and transitions, even, between some kinds of flooring & others (we've been on a TIGHT budget for 35 yrs) made it hard for my mother w her walker and numb legs, below the knee to the ends of her toes. Try it; it's difficult.
I hope your husband is recovered and well🙏. I’m sure your home is beautiful .The advice about the doors and hallways is very helpful. Where do I find price estimates for these small homes?
I think that all homes should be designed with what they call 3-0 doors and passageways at least on the first floor and at least one bathroom. 3-0 refers to 3 feet 0 inches, which is 36 inches, not 30 inches as many assume when they see it. We also designed our house to be almost hallway free. Hallways take up a lot of unused space.
@@bg104 There is a camera inside the scene. I know it's all software because I've done 3D renders and flythroughs with the camera. _I went to college for video games, I know what I'm talking about_
This looks perfect! I’m 74 now and live in a one bedroom apartment. My rent is $1200/month plus a monthly fee of $25/ month for my one senior cat ($50 if you have 2 cats)! To me this home looks like heaven to me, thank you for sharing your vision!
Love this compact yet comforable design. Like a number of other posters, would want wider hallways and access for my later years. But the colors/tones and the stonework wall treatments give a luxury feel to a small, delightful cottage.
I want to trade in my too-big house for this. The only changes I would need are to swap out the fireplace for a wood stove (which would heat the whole house in the event of a power outage) and add a garage. That big front porch and big windows are awesome. I'm in love!
Wow. This one is just about perfect. The only real change I would make would be to bump the front bedroom out even with the front door wall and place the laundry (stacked washer and dryer) either between or in the master suite closet ~ and include the laundry space with the pantry. Having the laundry right in the closet makes life so much easier for me personally.
Perfect retirement house for 2 people..but enough room for a small family gathering .luv the porches...can be outside and enjoy nature....but can be snuggly in winter.
Thanks for the grand tour! Love this type of home, but recently moved into a two bedroom, one bath cottage that is attached between a 19th century carriage house and Victorian house built in 1870, similar in design to this!. These homes are much more beautiful than the huge trophy homes that are being built today esp ones that have 16-24 bathrooms! Way to caveronous in feeling for me! "Less is more"! imho
I absolutely love everything about this house. It is so me. I can see myself living in it. It's gorgeous! Thanks so much for taking me on a fine house hunting journey. Made my evening!
Wow so wonderful love those bathrooms and the extended living areas off of the porch…the fact that it is nestled in such a serene location speaks volumes…thank you for sharing…
This is absolutely a darlin house. I especially love the two porches, mostly the back one, I really love it when a porch wraps around the corner of a house that adds such character to the home as well as practicality for outdoor living. I love the fact there's a door leading out to a porch from the master bedroom in this particular plan, but for me, I would add that too my addition of the much larger master suite. That second bedroom which had no closet in that actual room but was in the hall, I would turn that closet into a much needed hall closet. I would add one to that second bedroom during any additions making that room a bit larger, to the actual structure. Also, I love all the stone work both on the inside as well as the outside. I do love all the farmhouse doors on the inside areas, though, I believe your company mostly designs for tiny home living, but I would most differently add on a 3rd bedroom mater suit using this basic design with a few modifications. Like adding two large walk-in closets that would accommodate his and her garments. One closet could house all of the couples, big bulky coast/jacket, boots etc, you know all winter attire. The other closet for regular summertime clothing and shoes. One closet placement in the bathroom, and the other in the master itself, so that would free up wall space in the actual master bedroom for wall hangings. I would also add on to the kitchen with a great deal more upper and lower cabinets providing that extra needed storeage for my needs and taste. Also, a nice large walk-in pantry that could also house a chest freezer, also enlarging the laundry area to a walk-in with a utility sink as well. I absolutely do love the look of this design with the beautiful exposed beams at the porch entrance, and like I've mentioned, all the natural stone work is absolutely gorgeous but with a few additional tweeks, it would be perfect for my needs. This actual 2bd, 2ba plan would make an absolute perfect home for a young couple just starting out or an elderly widow or even a single person. Overall, what a fantastic looking home! Adding on, though, would make a much more liveable space for a couple with or without children!
Just love this! I live in 1100ft Cosstal Cottage. I would need to bump it up for 3 small bedroom. Personally I must sleep 6. Two adults and two kids. But with great designs, I’m sure they have a 1100 or 1200sq ft. w/3 sm. Bedrooms 💗💗💗💗💕 This is brilliant use of space!
I like this rustic, cozy home. I would use a more spacious and enclosed means for entry storage (it’s a big deal for me LOL). That aside, I like virtually all your layout and design choices. Move-in ready! I could be very content and comfortable in this home!
WOW, whoever the Architect and Rendering artist/Designer are sure has good talent. Beautiful colors, materials, beautiful designs, and ideas, omg, such talent to put these picture perfect homes all together in one nice package. these are all picture perfect homes. I know they put together the interior designs with all the nice furniture, cubbies, etc, everything is in the perfect place, very warm, inviting, and comfortable to the hilt !!!!! Just sell the houses as is with all the furnishings, brick-a-brack, etc.... I lover EVERYTHING about this model. Soooooo, HOW MUCH DOES IT ALL COST??????
Dear TM Studio, you should get full architectural plans made up for all your designs so that people can buy them. Make the plans downloadable so anyone in the world can buy them. Please.
Composition-wise, I agree, but so much was out of focus. I don’t know how that can even happen with modern photo equipment. Even an iPhone does better quality video than this.
I need a huge coat closet by the entrance, also would get rid of the master bathroom because we would wake each other up, we have very different schedules and husband gets up midnight or early morning. Would make the master bedroom bigger. I like the look of the house outside. Also I would make all the doors pocket doors.
I'm in the uk and I so wish developers would build homes like this with these gorgeous american style porches to sit out in alk weathers, porches truly put a home intouch with the land. If I could build my own house here it would be this one with just one extra bedroom with an additional purpose built room for my crafting which you could add by moving the main bathroom over where the closet is to create an additional hallway and put that closet behind the bedroom along with another closet for the 3rd bedroom and the craft room could go behind the front bedroom.. and maybe I would add a full wrap around porch, as I absolutely love outdoor covered seating areas
The combination of wood and stone just make this home perfect!!

Yes wider doorways and hallways, I’d like to see open ceilings with beams. Also walking shower for people with mobility issues.

29’x39’ is not small
30’x40 is large 😂
Where can you purchase the designs?
If only they could build homes this size for regular people instead of always building McMansions. Love these homes and videos. Thank you!
Wow, great CGI. Props to the 3D modelers and whoever did the camera work. Nice job!
the "camera" work is all software. No real cameras at all, all done on computers - but it's SO realistic! Amazing stuff!

Love this one, so cozy. Love the layout, kitchens in the back with a door to back porch, fantastic.
Thank you!! 😊
Love everything about it! Would it withstand hurricanes? I live in FL and do not need a basement, but in my state we need a solid home. Thoughts ?
@adeleferguson663 you would have to check with your local city building codes and permits.
This house has got everything and yet it's not overwhelming!
The stone work in this house is fabulous.

Love the layout and the Craftsman touches. One small thing, you've got a pocket door in the bathroom sliding inside a wall with plumbing in it
