Welcome to the Letterman UA-cam Channel, home to all your favorite clips from Late Night and Late Show - as well as conversations with the writers, producers and performers who helped make it all happen. The language may strike you as quaint & flowery, the clothing comically lacey & ornate - but that’s how things were back in this colorful and now bygone era.
Bro he was hilarious I don’t know what all you haters are going on about 😂
Lmaooooo😂😂😂😂😂 i remember that thing from E.T. hahahahhaa Simon lmao im dying here lol this was me in every scenereo haha
I remember seeing this live and laughing pretty heartily at it. Had no idea who it was (missed the intro) and when Dave mentioned his name again after his bit, i realized it was the guy who lived down the street from me when we were kids. Hadn't seen him since the late 80s/early 90s and didn't recognize him.
I recall the last time I saw him before this appearance when I was about 16, he was absolutely hysterical. At the time I didn't realize he was into comedy (definitely not sure if he was), he was just a funny guy.
sounds like a fake story
Getting Jim Carrey vibes here
Haha it’s so interesting to see how his comedy evolved. So cool, love Dane.
Personally, I was laughing hysterically!
On no....please tell me Dane has not left this world!
He was pretty funny for a few months when I was 14. Seems like a decent enough guy, def fell back to earth, but whatever. He was the original tiktok comedian. So -- in a way -- he was ahead of his time.
What you get from Wish, when you order a Jim Carrey.
Good one 😂
Well they are both very much physical comedy.
God forbid anyone emulate their idols 🤣🤣🤣
If Jim Carrey had a kid with a Neanderthal 😂.
Wow...he looks crazy young here. And i just can't get the Family Guy skit on him watching this😂😂😂😂
Funny routine. 5:30 is just genius though.
My sisters made those paper fortune teller things when we were growing up in the 1990s.
Wow, strong set.
I definitely enjoyed this guy's comedy routine.
ok...thanks for telling us
takes a lot of skill to clean up these routines for late night
Really letterman.... that was the 80s 90s
People bashed this guy constantly back in the day, but honestly, I always thought he was pretty damn funny. I guess he got overexposed back in the 2000s but his early material was solid.
No idea what he’s been up to recently though, aside from dating much younger women.
Same here! I was in my 20s when he was getting popular: the perfect audience for his references. One problem is, we all got older, but he stayed stuck in the same place.
@@kstepko you all got older, he stayed in the same place, and his audience either went to Louis C.K. or John Mulaney
doesn't he do Schmoes Know on YT now?
"The hilarious comedian talks karate, cooties and more in his debut." . . . Dave, Dave! Blink twice if that bad comedian has a gun right now.
Not dead, just has a bad head cold.😁😁😁😁😁
Unfunny goof
Hope this doesn't mean he died
No he didn't. Comedy did when he walked on stage
Yes he used to be high LARIOUS to a 27 yr old me. I matured in 18 yrs
I'm indifferent.
@@TheRealJordanGamingremember those stupid 2020 protests that somehow transpired into joke policing, removal of old TV episodes and different voice actors too? That killed it in the mainstream. Those wet blankets are the jokes now though.
Back when his routine wasn't stale.
No wonder this guy isn't working any more. When he was, he was often voted the least funny comic. I worked with him at Nick's Comedy Stop, The Improv, 99 in Saugus. He was all voice and motion, no substance. People get tired of that after a while. But he did do well for himself for a bit, even made some movies, but his career has been dead for years, and that's the way it goes in entertainment, folks.
Not true he still tours
So...he was never funny
Me and one other friend liked him the rest hated him lol

RIP Dane
Straight up terrible.
You looking in a mirror?
@@Hoop_23 Kindergarten insult. I can see why you like him.
Nope!
Hmm. I remember he became a big star pretty quickly, but I didn't laugh once watching this. These jokes and his delivery style haven't aged well, IMO. I realize other people still like him though.
Comedy isn't mainstream anymore.
Or you don't have a sens of humor. That is more likely
@@Hoop_23 You're right. Since I don't like what you like I must not have a sens of humor

He was and still is pretty funny. Not the best or the worst
:)
Why are y'all raggin' on him? Didn't you see his gesticulating? It was so fast. Comedy
He’s great :) more relatable than other comics
Wow, I’m embarrassed for him. What’s with all the goofy movements? Thinks he’s Jim Carey. This passed for comedy back then, come on Dave?
I've heard of him. First time I've seen him. Many of the comments here are funnier than him.
@D.E. That's your opinion, but not in my opinion and certainly not your comment. 😁 Just saying.
I’m so glad people finally realized this guy isn’t funny so he could go away.
9 out of 10 Helens agree that this man is not funny.
I saw him at soaring eagle , he was so awesome ❤
My man still cute just as much now as he was then ❤
Wow he used to be funny.
I don’t think he’s funny
That’s because he’s not. Lol
