@@markarlie7644 yep the rear end can suffer from rust. Bottom of the rear quarter wheel arch area and the whole boot floor area. The roof leaks so these do rust from inside out
Tim is a legend 😂 remember when he joined the FN2 Modified on FB and in less than a month he done more mods than the average us in a year. 😂😂😂. Nice feature.
I have my fn2 for 7 years. And even second I don’t thinking about sell this car. Last mohican as I say. Car with soul and underated folk tale. With turbo and some handling mods, must be sooo fun to drive! Thank for your content! ❤
Glad you enjoyed the content and this is exactly why I started to make these videos. Not just my perspective on just fn2s, but owners of different cars with different levels of builds!
@HondaK20 With my FN2, there were so many things going wrong after I bought it. Not really the car itself and its issues or the past, but how it went. Things like to sell it or not, but you get emotionally attached to it. My FN2 is sitting for over 4 weeks at a garage. Painful empty parking spot over here.
Random pedantry: He said "Porsche 914" and you showed a picture of a Porsche 924. The 914 was a very capable little mid-engined cross between an MX5 and a Fiat X1/9 with an air-cooled VW Type 4 engine in it.
I would like to clarify that it was a 924. The picture Joseph showed is the correct car as those are the pictures I sent him, it was me getting my numbers wrong in the video
@@timothyivatts Fair enough. I wouldn't have mentioned it except that I used to be into Beetles and the "holy grail" of Beetle engines was the T4 engine, which Porsche borrowed to stick in the 914. The 924 engine is, of course, out of a VW delivery van. 😛 (Joking, sort of)
Again a great video, I really enjoy this format! Nice to see and hear the story of how the car came to be where it is now. Feels like talking about cars with friends.
Nahh, I genuinely appreciate the feedback and honesty! This is a new concept for the channel, so any and all feedback is greatly appreciated. I will for sure bear that in mind for the future 🫡
Thank you for the chance to be on your channel. Was a great day filming with you

I remember seeing his name in posts a lot, but the main thing that pulled me into his build was his interior. I was like... Daaaaamnnn that's nice!!!

Top guy and so humble. Met him in person to collect alloys for my mk8. 💯💯
Such a nice car this one!

Great interview like seeing what people have dun
Thanks for the kind words 🫶🏾
Wouldn't mind seeing more of the fn2 instead of a guy sitting on a camping chair . Just being honest.
