When my lights go bad, this is what I’m getting!
Hey bro, I would like to let you know there is a company on Amazon that makes the same exact one same parts, and everything just with a different name for 189 on Amazon I already have Syders I bought these and they’re the same thing
@@antnope3042 okay, thanks!
@@bcdieselsofficial No problem at all bro
Don't install the LED reverse lights. Voids the warranty. I found that out the hard way. Mine malfunctioned and i was basically told i was beat cuz of the reverse lights.
Good to know!! Thank you!
What does the reverse lights have to do with the tail light when the bulb just plugs into the factory wiring
@@jeremy_238 it comes with halogen bulbs, changing any of the electrical hardware from other than what came from the manufacturer I guess could void it from changing voltages or anything. Not entirely sure.
Reallyt the only way the company would know is if you tell them , LED bulbs draw less current than halogen , and the have less resistance than halogen , the reason the hyper flas can happen is that due to less resistance the car thinks there is no bulb in he socket , which is why there is a high wattage resistor you can install to make the computer think a halogen or regular filament bulb is in there , but the better way is toi install the LM487 turn signal flasher that is designed to be used with LED lights
Company is just searching for ways to not stand behind their product. As stated by others, an LED bulb in the factory wiring does not affect their lights. Tells me all I need to know about the company.
got the same lights 2000 Tahoe, can't get mine to work correctly
Crazy I’m having the same issue with my 03 Yukon, mine just keep blowing the same fuses.
We tried the led replacement bulbs for blinkers and reverse lights and they don't work when it's cold. Work fine above freezing but pretty much just don't work below.
I love the blacked out reflector look of these tail lights, but I'm concerned about the reverse light reflectors not being chromed. Do you notice a considerable decrease in light output?
I haven’t at least yet, I’m also going to swap in LED’s but it’s hard to say. I was comparing these to the smoked lenses I had on the other tail lights
what happens if you let the second small hole loose and not locked on the road ?
Great video. Im gonna pick myself up a set of those tail lights
Thank you! They work great, definitely recommend them!
I love color of your truck. What is it called
They look pretty cool. Did you lose cruise control after you installed these taillights like some other the Spyder tail lights?
You shouldn’t !
I have a 05 Sierra Denali and my cruise control stopped working on 2 different pairs so I had to go back to stock lamp assemblies
Great Look Great Vid! Will these fit 1500 07 Classic?
As long as it’s not 2007.5 and the cat eye body style, yes!
Not for $300+ bucks just for tail lights! Ya right!
will it fit 04 3500? i purchased one before and it ended up not fitting.
It should! Idk why it wouldn’t
These lights aren’t working on my 07 classic 1500, can I get some help rq?
What’s not working? I’ve had them on my truck since this video and they still work great.
@@ConnorRydland none of the lights are blinking or turning on
@@rillastrength check your tail light wiring harness
@@rillastrength also check where they plug into under the bed of the truck
Does anyone know I have a 2004 chevy silverado 2500 and I got these taillights but my truck only has three lights and the new tail lights have 4 which one should I add the forth one too? Any answers would be amazing thanks
They should be plug and play, do you just have an extra wire?
@@ConnorRydland ya sorta like the taillight has one extra plug and I'm one short I got blinker, brake light, and single light. I wasn't sure though maybe I can tie one into another just not sure which one haha
@@jake_hull_offical Dm me on Instagram @dirtymax302 and send me pics, I’ll try to help
@@ConnorRydland sounds good thanks
Could you drop a link to where you got them off of?
It’s in the description
What year is your truck
Any issues with leaking? I bought the same ones and noticed after I washed my truck I saw some water.
If you see it around the back edge it’s no issue, it’s in the design. But inside the actual light I’ve had no water leaks
At least you put your money in the motor and not the reverse lamps
Literally after I installed these I looked at a shelf in my garage and saw the led reverse lights I was supposed to put in 😂
@@ConnorRydland haha I do that a lot
What wheels do you have and what’s the dimensions?
They are 17x11 or 18x11 or something like that I believe
@@ConnorRydland what’s your offset? They look sweet
Hey man I got these lights for my truck which is the same, I haven't installed them yet but I've seen a lot of complaints about lights not functioning properly, blowing fuses, etc. Have you had any of these issues and did you do anything for fixes?
I’ve had zero issues with them, I could see them not functioning right if you swap out the reverse lights with LED’s or tampering with it. They are under warranty as long as you don’t mess with them
@@ConnorRydland I'm not familiar with wiring but if you did use leds for the reverse lights what would need to be done? Some of them I know are plug and play with existing hardware
@@ConnorRydland also saw complaints with moisture getting in I wonder if a sealant would be useful on parts of it, like silicone
@@oof578 literally all you have to do is put a different bulb in the bottom socket. I thought about it, I don’t want to void my warranty. Personally I would just get LED pods and put them in your rear bumper and wire it into the trailer brake reverse socket underneath
@@ConnorRydland installed them awhile back had no issues until recently a fuse blew for the passenger light
they have a pre order date rip
Oh no really?? I guess I got lucky! My billet shafts for my transmission have been on backorder for months
@@ConnorRydland yes not until mid june until they come out but the company called ot moto doesn't look bad i have 03 cateye like yours same color but different trim package but a 5.3 😂
@@jtmcguire807 nice nice! Yeah if the lights work, they work! 😂 you could always get them color matched or something! They are all pretty easy to work with! I plan on doing something like that or possibly tinting mine to make them look less cheap
thats not led tail lights. they are hybrid, led and halogen
Tail lights are entirely LED. Reverse lights are halogen until I LED swap them.
