I've heard the clear plastic cases aren't good because they let light thru and you can get some odd flaring in the sensor, even though it's an enclosed part. Have you found this to be the case?

Hey! Thanks! Isopropyl alcohol is very strong and that’s key to softening the glue without damaging anything else. However, I haven’t tried any other alcohol. I don’t know if it would work the same.
Great video. At 22:08 you start removing a large plastic piece. Below this piece is a hole in the case. Do you know why? From the outside, there is not one hole but nine (3x3). Do you know what these are made for?
Not the record button but the piece of plastic below the USB board. There is one hole to the inside of the camera and nine holes on the outside of the camera.
I think there are some you can buy. I haven’t looked at the GoPro 9/10/11 but there were some for the GoPro 8. You may have to look up companies that sell naked GoPros. They usually have modified sensor ribbons.

They are very similar. The GoPro 11 has a larger sensor and is 10bit capable but not very noticeable unless you shot in flat colours and do lots of editing after.
Yeah they give you a list when you buy the GoPro 11 and tells you the differences in between the two I don't think you have to take it apart to see that oh you're looking for cheap electronics most you wouldn't even know a cheap electronic if yit smacked you in the face
Have you had any issues with a low power error? I have done this conversion with many 9's and with my 11 I can't get the error to go away. I have tried with 4s lipos, that should be enough to power the 11?

Ok sounds good. I followed the video all the way to the end, but wasn’t sure if there would be a regulator in the BEC or not. So I’ll run the current from my 4S through the BEC to the gopro
If you’ve never done this before. It’s actually pretty easy. The daunting part is realizing you’re taking apart a $600 camera. But the process is simple. If you have the GoPro subscription plus, they will replace a decased GoPro. If that gives you more peace of mind. If you want me to do it, I’m in Canada. Let me know.
Very useful, and nicely done! Did you compared H10 and H11 in terms of dynamic range and picture clarity? I find that H10 has slightly better picture clarity on drone usage, especially for slightly more distant objects, it could be duo to lens factory focus, it looks like H10 is better focused for objects which are more than 2m away while on the H11 more distant objects are a bit blurred and have less detail which is a little disappointing if the camera primary application is on a drone. But it is super sharp on near, for example on 0,5-1m.
@@MikoajSzczepka yes something is very strange with H11, on YT all videos are basically ok, but if we take a closer look at big 4k monitor and RAW footage then something is strange here...

on the gopro 11 pdf manual, it says the rectangle thing below the power button is the drain microphone, is there actually a microphone there? or is it just to drain water to help the other two microphones to pick up noise faster after being submerged in water?

I haven't tried Flywoo filters on an NamelessRC before. I use the Mavic 2 zoom filters. The Freewell brand fit best.

I haven’t tested how long. I only record when I’m flying. 10 mins was my longest flight.

Yes, except for the sensor. I think you might not be able to interchange those.

There is a way. I did it on a GoPro Hero 4 to be able to change lenses.

I’ve had that message when I wasn’t running GoPro Labs on my GoPros. It usually goes away when you update to the latest GoPro labs.

You just got to hook up the battery tray and rear screen. Then it will work.

I added a fan. Without a fan it would only overheat on hot days and in direct sunlight.

It does not. The Mavic 2 Zoom ND filters work on it though.
Is it safe to power on the naked GoPro with a 4S LiPo? Wouldn’t that fry the camera?
The BEC has a voltage regulator. It is rated up to 6S. However, don’t power up the GoPro without the BEC installed.

Can you still salvage your front LCD if you've accidentally separated it with the rubbing alcohol?
There is a good chance it’s not good anymore. Try it anyways, just in case.

Yes, there is a microphone behind. It’s one of the microphones I removed in order to get to the front screen.

Yeah, I used a hacksaw the first time because that’s what people said to use. Once I took it apart. I realized that a sharp blade would do just fine.

No, the GoPro mini 11 is built totally differently.
