I started with my first drone in early 2016 with the goal of doing aerial photos and videos. I wanted to share my passion of aviation and at the same time, utilize the latest technology the world had to offer. Today, my business has grown to a new level which involves working on projects with some of Edmonton’s largest commercial real estate companies and others across Alberta.
Currently, drones are mainly utilized for aerial photography and surveys, however some of the upcoming trends in the industry are: farming (drone spraying), drone delivery services, drone FPV (First Person View) filming and drone racing as a sport. I am most excited about the drone FPV filming trend and am one of the first in Alberta to provide this new type of filming and video footage. This type of flying has no automatic pre-sets which means all video movements are the true skills of the pilot himself in which the pilot must micromanage all aspects of the drone, both in the air and on the ground.

Hello mate I know that you work with the Drones and you attach gopros to them but I have a question my GoPro Hero 7 black doesn't turn on on the battery but when I attach the charger USB cable to it it doesn't charge but it turns on and gives me a message of no battery detected if you please know how to fix that please contact me or send me an email thank you very much for the lovely videos you make and thank you for the help in advance
@@ahmedaly2022 it sounds like your battery is completely dead. Have you tried a different battery? If the problem persists. It could be an internal issue. I would check the little prongs at the bottom of the battery tray where the battery connects to. see if one is bent. Also, you know that the GoPro subscription is $50 a year. You get 2 free replacements a year, no questions asked.
That’s awesome!
Thanks man!
this is so ass
Hi Martin, thanks for the info. Do you mind telling me who you use to insure your FPV drones? Not finding many providers who do. Thanks!
how aare things?!amazing . take care-Martin~😮
Thanks!!!
That is so cool! Can we see some footage?
Thanks!! Here is the link to the UA-cam feed that they streamed it to: ua-cam.com/video/Ex-XJTYpVMg/v-deo.html
Love it
Thanks!!
Thanks for class! You are very organized. Congrats from Brazil.
Thank you!
Nice vid, man. Great tips. How do you get permission to do this?
I work with the Drift organization and the race track.
What brand bec power for gopro naked u use
It’s a namelessRC one. But other brands make the same one or get it from the same supplier.
Suport for GoPro 6 basic .for naked projek...or just for GoPro 11
@@TheLeomaul GoPro 6 uses a different BEC. BetaFPV sell those.
Nice !!!!!
Great video. At 22:08 you start removing a large plastic piece. Below this piece is a hole in the case. Do you know why? From the outside, there is not one hole but nine (3x3). Do you know what these are made for?
That where the record button was. I removed it.
Not the record button but the piece of plastic below the USB board. There is one hole to the inside of the camera and nine holes on the outside of the camera.
I can’t remember off the top of my head. I’ll have to look at the case.
Ok, I just looked at the case. The 3x3 holes are microphone holes.
Dear do u have soare parts for hero 8 salt water damage, if yes please contact so i can arrange to ship the camera to you abd arrange how to fix it
Thank you
I honestly thought the back piece was moulded to the rest of the body… why is everyone putting a dramel and hacksaw to remove the screen… this is so much simpler, safer, non distributive. Thank you
Yeah, I used a hacksaw the first time because that’s what people said to use. Once I took it apart. I realized that a sharp blade would do just fine.
Still using namelessrc case? I want to know if youre having overheating issue without additional fan
It works good for most part without a fan. It did overheat a few times on really hot days. I find that if you plug in your quad and fly right away. It doesn’t overheat.
@@MartinWithDroneBuzz i prefer without fan, because i need the audio to be recorded.
@@TERBANGFPV keep it out of direct sunlight before takeoff, it will help.
that plane thoooooooooo 😻😻sooooooo sexi
Thanks!
Which fatshark are you using? :-)
The HDO 2
@@MartinWithDroneBuzz ah, right :-) I'll try with sky03o which are locked to 4:3 like the HDO1... Have you ever tried to set it to 4:3? Does the VRX stretch the image or give you black bars left and right? :-) By the way, the drone I ordered with it is a cinelog25 with the avatar vtx nano kit, should be exactly the same as yours :-D
@bjornce6 nice, it’s a sweet little drone. I don’t remember what setting I’m using. I only set it once and been flying it ever since.
@@MartinWithDroneBuzz then it's 16:9 for your hdo2's :-) Thanks a lot for your answers!!
@bjornce6 anytime. Now I’m going to double check! 😁
Does the GoPro 10 need the front screen to work or can I fully delete it if I'm keeping the back screen ?
Yes, it works without the front screen. You can remove it.
@@MartinWithDroneBuzz about to make a dank GoPro 10 cooling solution now lol thanks
@TheUnknownExplorer666 this is the fan I put on: m.aliexpress.com/item/1005003160534956.html?spm=a2g0n.order_detail.0.0.5643f19cmp68eD
@@MartinWithDroneBuzz sadly the main reason I want bare steel is because it needs to passively cool so it don't ruin audio
@TheUnknownExplorer666 I see
is it compatible ND filter from flywoo to case NameLessRC ? what kind nd filter do you use ?
I haven't tried Flywoo filters on an NamelessRC before. I use the Mavic 2 zoom filters. The Freewell brand fit best.
@@MartinWithDroneBuzz in this case no fan ? its ok ? geprc case and fly woo have a fan..is it ok to use without fan ?
@AntonEvdakov yes it is ok to use without the fan. I used it lots without the fan.
does the mini 11 have the same internals? can it be decase?
No, it is totally different.
Hey just on a whim I saw a good deal on two broken GoPro hero 8s, I hear a lot of people say that the charging circuits go bad sometimes or they just stop working randomly. Considering there’s two of them do you think there’s a good chance of salvaging good parts from the both of them and pulling of at least one naked go pro? I would hope that it’s a charging issue because if I’m soldering a bec to it then that won’t matter.
Oh nice! Yeah, try it. You could get a couple naked GoPros that way. Let me know how it turns out.
do u have problems with overheating?
I added a fan. Without a fan it would only overheat on hot days and in direct sunlight.
@@MartinWithDroneBuzz so its 32g with the fan?
The fan is 1/2 a gram
Whats the weight?
32g
Cool!
Thank you!
highly underated
Thank you!
Whoop whoop!
🤣
Love how you kept all the action within the shot!!! Nice flying 👍
Thanks!!! It was surreal being there!!!
I bought a used GP for decasing. Taking apart was much easier for me compared to Martin here, the problem was the tiny screen. I cracked it while trying to get it out. Even after cracking, getting it out with force was hard. That mfer was in there STRONG. You should definitely heat it up before trying to pry it out. Don't use metal tools for that! Replacement is about 10bucks on ali tho.
I’m glad it came apart easily for you. Yeah, that screen is in there good. Awesome that a new screen is $10!!!
Yep, I broke my screen thanks to this video. He's all like "you will hear it cracking and think it's breaking, but it's not." Fucking wrong! It was.
Wich cakera angle you recomend? I have the dji fpv potato. Thanks!
I’ve never flown the DJI FPV. Try 30°. Note that if you can’t keep up with the cars increase it to 40°45°. Also, if you if you overshoot the cars at 30°, try 25°.
Yooooo I was at that airshow
Nice!!!! It was awesome!!!!
How about gps ? Work fine ?
It does! I run INAV now and I don’t have any issues.
I’ve got a photo of your drone on Saturday!
No way!!! That’s cool! I don’t get to see my drone in action! 😂😂. I always have my goggles on. Would it be ok if you shared it with me?
'promosm'
Thanks for the video! I have a question i forgot to install the gopro laps but camera all ready set to my iphone??
It should still connect.
@@MartinWithDroneBuzz Uffff thanks a lot
@@Jun-FPV no problem!
This is the cleanest way of decasing the gp9-11 and way less destructive than others with Dremel
I agree!
As a child I enjoy tearing everything apart just to see how it work s I guess I just don't get the video I have no understanding why this is occurring at all
50 people in the comments section thanking you I'm sorry five people in the comment section thanking you for showing them how to destroy their GoPro and none of them can put them back together
But why is the big question just don't understand why
To put on an FPV drone that can't carry much weight
@OranJuno that’s correct
Why are there fools in the comments section thanking you telling you that it's you've given them easy instructions to follow so now we got a bunch more dumbasses in the world just going and buying $500 GoPros just to tear him apart what the f*** is going on this isn't a PlayStation where you can upgrade it. The things people do on the internet for clicks it's crazy
I didn't find anything about this video enjoyable at all. The title of the video should be let me show you how to void the warranty on anything you purchased that's digitally electronically something😂😂😂
Hey, do you think It's possible to replace a camera sensor bus with a longer one? Thanks
I think there are some you can buy. I haven’t looked at the GoPro 9/10/11 but there were some for the GoPro 8. You may have to look up companies that sell naked GoPros. They usually have modified sensor ribbons.
@@MartinWithDroneBuzz thank you!
Any time!
Hey buddy, hope you’ll answer this comment : how did you manage to fit the vtx into the drone ? Did you use v1 or v2 vtx etc ? Thanks !
I use the 1S system in the cinelog 25. I bolted it to the bottom plate. I used 2 screws through the slotted areas (not 4). You’ll need to file the place you’ll put the screws in as the slots are not wide enough to fit the screws through. Then you’ll also need to add washers/nuts between the VTX and plate so the VTX doesn’t touch the carbon fibre.
@@MartinWithDroneBuzz thanks so much for the answer, I’m probably going to use a v1 for my build and I just want to be Shute that it will fit. How close from the standoffs and from the propguards is the vtx ? Thanks in advance !
The size of the v1 and the nano vtx is the same apart from its thickness so if yours fits large enough, mine will too I believe
@baptiste_nonat the 1S VTX board is smaller than the FC so it fits good in there.
@@MartinWithDroneBuzz okay ! Thanks SO MUCH for that 😁😁😁😁. I can now order my frame without fearing it won’t fit ! Thanks again, have a nice one 👍🏼
The best stuff!!
Yes!
Pretty nice. Which place is this?
That is the Stratotech Raceway on the north side of Edmonton.
is there a way to remove the lens from the sensor without damaging the sensor? I want to jam it in a telescope.
There is a way. I did it on a GoPro Hero 4 to be able to change lenses. I used a kit from there before www.back-bone.ca/gopro-mods/
how in the hell does a repair job work on an actual gopro tech department, theres no way they are cutting them all apart like this lmao. How would you even attach all the connections back before you ship it out to a customer. Aliens with quantum repair beams?
Hahaha that made my day! I don’t know how they do it. I tried putting one back together. Just don’t put it in the water 🤣🤣🤣
had to cut it open...I'm crying...huhuhu
You got this!
Just what i was looking for appreciate the time n effort you put into this 👍
Thank you! I appreciate that.
Very cool 👍
Thanks! 🙏
Hi. Great vidéo. I have a question i went to replace the fish eye lens of my gopro 8 by another one 12mm ???
The only time I changed the lens on a GoPro was on the GoPro Hero 4 black. I used this company for the 12mm lens. www.back-bone.ca
