Dangggggg, Stoney Ridge is the NICEST neighbor in the world! Can you imagine if everyone was as neighborly and had integrity like this guy, the world can take a few lessons from this 👍💙 P.S. my husband would have a blast yanking some trees!
THanks so much...these guys have been a great help to me when I needed it with my dog having pups...they look after things when I'm gone....it's the least I can do!
@@StoneyRidgeFarmer Your good people there, we live in Oregon and almost lost the ranch due to all the fires. It took all the neighbors and good people like yourself working together to save many homes although many were lost. It's been sad but hope and good neighborly people always pull through. We love your videos here and have seen you develop such a great channel from the beginning. 👍
Wow it’s amazing to these transformations all in one day! Even my 18 month old son was clapping for these two retired folks. I hope I can be as ambitious as they are when I retire.
Josh - I have a Danuser Intimidator for my Kubota SVL75-2 - absolutely love it - pull invasive mid size trees out of fields roots and all, shake dirt off and pile to burn. Worth every penny !! (When you pull those smaller and mid size trees out, go ahead and shake the dirt off more just tilt up and down quickly a few times - it will fill most of hole back in and leave less dirt when burning)
Pretty cool attachment. Haven’t seen anything exactly like that before. Now I want one! Looks like it works great, always good helping out your neighbors.
The thing I hate most about your videos is when they end. I could watch you clear land all day. That is an amazing piece of equipment.
Boy, Josh. I live in central Indiana. I wish I had a neighbor as nice as you my friend. BTW you do good work young man. I enjoy your vlogs, keep them coming, sir
Had one for 3 years, love the thing.
That is a sweet attachment! Love that you were 2 wheelin Skiddy Bop! LOL. Love seeing neighbors helping each other! The way the world should work!
My neighbor had 20 yard of gravel deliver for part of her driveway. Was spreading with a 8 year old 2 shovels and rakes, she sure was happy when my tractor showed up for 15 minutes.
Awww wow what a wonderful neighbor. It's rare to have a neighbor like that.
Great neighbor! I’m on the southern border of VA... maybe one day I can come visit and see some of these toys! I only have a small Massey 😢 haha
Class video again josh keep up the great work buddy that tree/stump puller worked really really well am really surprised just how well it cut the trees also I hope u get the hydraulic leak sorted hopefully it's something simple that won't need much keep up the good work 👍
Wow. That’s quite a tree pullin machine Josh. Love it. 👍👍👍❤️
Such a great neighbor. You did a fantastic job. 👍🏻
Thank you! 🤗
Cool piece of equipment..
Have a good day 🌻🌻🌻
That is an awesome piece of equipment.
I wish I knew the attachment a guy was using that I hired . His was black . He was pulling massive trees on my property , they were huge around and super tall, he would get them pulled and carry that massive tree over to our burn pile . It was incredible.
Great Vlog Josh that thing look awesome to use and would clean up a lot of small material I think I'll have to look into one of those 🇺🇲 WOOOOOO 🇺🇲!!
That is a mean peice equipment to have .that will be handy on your farm bud for sure .it made that job quick and clean .very well done godbless brother and again a good investment .
I Like this Tool, it's a beast
That looks like fun 👍🏻
Great idea charging your neighbor fuel only. . that's kinda what I do when I am not sure what to charge. Cheap equipment I charge locals and home town is $35-55 per hour.(that generous when include break downs and down time). Then with more pricy equipment I go up from there.
Well Josh you did again great video I got to see something work that I haven't seen before good job I enjoyed it have a good one wooooo.
Nicely done Josh 👍
wow what a neat thing to do. Loved seeing that.
That is a wicked attachment, deff a good investment for anyone with a lot of brush . Bet you needed fresh undies when the whole loader went in the air trying to get that maple stump out , I know I woulda 🤣
I don't have a need for one of those, but I sure would like to have one to play with. looks like fun.
That's a badass piece of equipment
Great Video, youre getting really good with the skidsteer
Hey Josh thank you for the video and I think you did a nice job there for your friend
It looks like a giant army ant pulling out the trees lol
another great video
Love the machine
Impressive attachment.
Picked up a intimidator last week. Works great.
Price?
Great video stoney man
be great for fire wood cutting pull tree and hold cut up then what you can not use for fire wood stack up burn pile
Might should check under Skiddy Bop for hemrroids after all this heavy lifting. 😂
You make some super satisfying videos. I live outside of greensboro, and our properties overall are very similar.
You could work faster with a big excavator and a thumb, but thats a lot more expensive. Great work, and great video! I may look at one of these myself.
yep....that's $1000 a day rental with $500 delivery fee...this was a good time!
Cool tool. I think some of those trees might even survive when transplanted. That would be a great video.
I bought a smaller version tree puller and use it on my Yanmar YT359. Works best when fully engaged into tree and up about 3-4 feet for 8 inch and bigger trees. Pull forward slowly while curling down and pushing down, then back the opposite way reversing technique. When loosened enough grab at base all the way into teeth and out she comes. I also have a 3 point to quick hitch adapter on back that works to if you don't want to torque your front end loader. They're awesome!!!
Made in my Hometown !
Amazing ossam fantastic
Nice size logs for mushrooms
Hey Stoney,
I knew I'd seen those jaws somewhere before. I think they are like the jaws on army ants!
Well, it is impressively intimidating for sure! Not sure it won’t reduce the life on your skid steer, but wow, what an animal!
6:30 OK, I'm impressed.
Wow that is truly a great attachment. Best part is no stumps to trip on or puncture a tire after.
Neat machine
That is one interesting contraption.
Well that's a nifty little gadget there
I wonder if you could push the pointy end under a tree to pop it out of the ground
Great video
That thing is impressive
Josh nice machine, how hot are hydraulics when it is jumpy? May need heavier oil. Is your attachment leaking or skidder? Keep full of oil or it will cost you a pump.
Got to get one of them for sure got about 6 acres to clean up with small brush that would be so nice to use
Yahooooooo!! Wooooooooo!!!....lol...;-)
I'll admit it looks like a fun toy to use....but nowhere near as much fun as dynamite....explosions are WAY more fun....
and making stumps jump up in the air is the BEST!!!
Josh and Pac Man have joined forces to tame forests and unwanted stumps!
9:30 great product 👍
I admire your efforts, go with what ya got, I still won't trade for my CAT 320
I've always thought the funnest way to remove a tree stump is using semtex. Though the neighbors can be a bit salty if you do it that way so it's not always the most practical. This seems to be a pretty practical tool for those situations when semtex isn't the answer...
semtex is always the answer to every problem
@@canadianeh4792 Including salty neighbors...
Josh do you ever video with a GoPro hero 8 if so that would be a helpful tool Tuesday review 👍
10:40 looks like big bird 😁
Josh I thought they replaced your hydraulic hoses.
no lap bar, no seat belt, no door! ballzy lol
Very nice attachment. If you had tracks on it would probably do better. Even though I'm impressed by attachment
Can that attachment be used on a tractor? Cool hydraulic pump. Wow you gave use some really cool toys to think about today!!
AWESOME!!!
You got a skid steer QA on your tractor? You got auxiliary hydraulics out on the boom?
If yes, then of course you can, keep in mind the loader lifting capacity, because a compact or even a small utility tractor will quickly disappoint when you try to actually pull a tree up with it. You should already know all that if you own a tractor tho.
Josh I dont see any safety device attached for when you need to exit the skiddy bop with the bucket or device is attached and raised. I had a classmate who died when they didnt have one attached to theirs, got pinned between the bucket and loader. Would make a good video for safety on the farm if you can find one to retro fit. Be safe, always enjoy your videos!!
Uuuuuuuu!! How's your other handsome friend Scott?....;-) He's also not bad, nice......lol
Man that is a great tool to have boy at the side money you could make with that
WOOOOOO!!!!!
Nice, that would be something on a bigger machine!
I enjoy watching these new attachments get the job done. You are obviously a good neighbor. I notice there are a lot of up and down jarring motions as you work. What if any, does that do to your back?
Skid steers are notorious for banging you around, especially the wheeled type.
Awesome equipment looks like it did a great job do you think leaving the bigger stumps higher gives you more wiggle to make them come out easier?
If ya gotta dig it out....sometimes it will help...however for demonstration I cut the stump off lower. Even pushing the tree up high will sometimes loosen the stump...but not on that nasty maple...she made me work lol!
100% leaving the stump tall helps. That's why guys with excavators will dig around the tree, then push the whole tree over in one shot, WAY easier.
Josh what a great video. That was a great clean up. What camera did you use to follow you as you were filming. When you were on the skid loader and moving the trees the camera was following you and I’m just curious what camera you were using as it did an outstanding job following you. Thanks for all you do and showing us how to do all this. Monte
Scott was helping me out a bit...part of my deal...he buys fuel....and films me for a few mins...I agree...he did great!
Interesting feature being able to saw back and forth with it but the SSL spins the wheels a lot tearing up the ground, as far as cutting the tree down it just seems it’s be easier to use a chainsaw for a minute to drop the tree then using the attachment to rip the stump.
Woooo
When will you finish the Willis Jeep series because I’ve been waiting to see you finish the jeep
12:00 That little Machine looks like the Transformers
It's a mean little giant thing.
Saves you lots of time
What Is A Tree Stump!🤣
Woooooo
That machine is awesome can i rent that thing?, if so will they show you how to use it?, I have a small homestead in NC and was told i need to have a few small trees removed in order for them to bring in my manufactured home, i figure if i could learn how to do it myself it will save me some money
Is this made by Spartans would you get this one again this looks to be the best on the market for digging an I think it’s got the one cylinder in the rear right?
Woooooooooo
If this company made a much smaller unit for subcompact tractors, they'd make a mint.
I've just learn something: tree doesn't have much strengh when they are pulled out vertically!
Hi how you doing I’m watching from uk
Great buddy!
Good to hear I love you vids
Looks like it could use some counter weights. It did the job.
What happened to the nice grouser tracks you had for skid steer?
Looks like skitty bop could have used the extra weight of the steel tracks 🤷
Yep....tracks are really hard on the land...and can't load on a steel deck trailer. They're great in the mud...but tough for hauling
I’m sure there is such a thing where some outriggers come out and pull with hydraulics only. If there isn’t one yet there’s your million dollar idea
I want that on Kubota 23s, buckthorn wouldn't have a chance!
How do you fill in all the holes? What equipment is used?
seems like that maple would have made good firewood
Like pulling weeds.
Is that the wallflowers on your intro song?
Sounds like Josh's own music ?
I wonder how long it’ll take before the arms bends
No rear weights? I'd think that you'd be way more stable. I have a 270 and I just did find a factory weight set, made a huge difference. I wouldn't try putting that much force on my booms pulling up. Just me
Too bad they didn’t make you that deal a little sooner might’ve come in handy on the land you was clearing.
Instead of burning those trees, how about a wood chipper and bury them in the ground to help amend your soil?
Man....folks are really harping on burning brush...to be honest brotha...it's just a fact of life living in the country and clearing brush and limbs. You'd have to dig for 3 days to burry this mess...chip it up...heck yeah....but chipper rental for something like this would cost about $1000 for 2-3 days....burn it..spread the ashes and dirt left behind...feeds the soil and cleans up the mess in 2 days at no cost. Wood chips are very acidic and take about 3 years to rot enough to start growing pasture...ask me how I know lol
@@StoneyRidgeFarmer Thanks for the reply, totally get it. Was just curious.
Lol you gotta be city as city gets, like never been outside city limits.
@@jaxturner7288 I have lived city & country, split wood for heat by hand. Cut down trees by hand. Never been a farmer. I quote Foghat "Cuz I'm a fool for the city!"
How well does the Intimidator work for removing standing bears? Lol
Tim from Canada here is just in for you tilt your camera down so people can see what you were doing your camera is halfway up so what you were showing us is not working. Need to work on your camera angles
Just looked through every comment you've ever left me Tim....3/4 of them are you commenting about the camera angles. I think you have a screen problem...out of nearly 900 videos and nearly 500,000 subscribers...18 Million views...you're the only one that's fussing about camera angles. Please FIX YOUR COMPUTER SCREEN! WOOOOOO!!!!!
