Hmm, is this for Mac OS only? Only reason I ask is because I get "unsupported file type" when trying to open a MOGRT file via the open projects menu option in AE. A bit stumped on this one, thanks for the video though.
Great video, I can't seem to find how to save it back as a MOGRT. I tried save as, export, none of them give me a dropdown for mogrt. Can you be more specific on the saving aspect? Thanks.
The latest version of After Effects is 15.1.2. Adobe recently made opening .mogrt files inside of After Effects (I'm unsure of which version specifically), so please always make sure you're working with the most recent version of your software. Since your version is CC2018, I'm assuming you have a Creative Cloud subscription, so staying up to date with your software is as easy as installing the free updates.
Thanks for your help man, I think that the best way to work with MOGRT is to open them in After effects and then convert them to Alpha MOV otherwhise it will a hell to make them to work with Premiere Pro.
Anyone knows how to BATCH IMPORT MULTIPLE Mogrt files in After Effects? I am dealing with a project with 20+ mogrt files, and I want to only have 1 big AEP that contains all the 20+ mogrt. Your help is much appreciated
Thanks so much for this! Super straightforward tutorial. I really appreciate it. Most of the mogrt files I imported turned out ok, but some seem to have screens, etc mismatched in different places, out of frame, etc. Have you ever experienced this? I can maybe figure out some ways to fix each one, but wondering if there's a more efficient solution. Thanks again!
If you import a single .mogrt file back into After Effects and save the file as an .aep file, you should be able to import additional .mogrt files into that newly created .aep.
That's a really ironic comment coming from someone watching a tutorial to teach them something they couldn't figure out on their own. Thanks for watching!
THANK YOU for making this video short and to the point! I appreciate it!
Dude, after 5 years ago, your video still helps! Thank you so much
Hey, did it opened in aftereffects with the Premiere animations? or just the layers?

One thing to add is if it was created in premiere pro, then it can not be imported to after effects.

hi, what about MOTN files
MOTN files are associate with Apple Motion and aren't related to Adobe Premiere or After Effects.
thank you ^^^^^^^^^^^
Ugh can you not open multiple mogrt files in after effects???????

simple change the file extention from mogrt to zip those files are simplt zipped after effects project files that it then extract
like like like 1000000000000000 times
